Kylie Rogers can't stand dull parties and the self-centered men who frequent them. Now that the crashing bore who cornered her has gone to get a drink, there's only one way out--a first floor window. Too bad her handsome host just happened to see her hike up her skirt, throw a very shapely leg over the windowsill...and fall into a hedge. Being rescued by Gamble Records owner David Gamble may be the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to Kylie. And his impromptu kiss may be the most thrilling...

Music mogul David Gamble figured he'd never see the beautiful woman he pulled out of his shrubbery, so what was the harm if he kissed her? When he discovers that Kylie is a new employee working for his company, he's shocked--and secretly delighted--even if he can't quite admit it yet. David's orderly world turns upside down with disaster-magnet Kylie spreading chaos and skewed publicity in her wake. But when someone sets out to sabotage Gamble Records, David joins forces with Kylie to catch the culprit as they find themselves falling in love in record time...

I had wanted to read this book for some time. The description on the back of the book sounded right up my alley. It for the most part was, except something didn't really fit for me. I loved the characters, so it wasn't that. I don't know I wish I could narrow it down but I can't. All I can say is that the book on a whole disappointed me. Still thought give it a try because there were funny moments and even cute ones. This book may work for you, and I could have just read it at a bad time.

It's an ok book. I think I keep telling myself I like her books more than I do because once I start I remember that I am not a huge fan. Her story telling takes a long time and I still feel like I do not get the details I want to envision the scene. However, her humor is priceless and I did find myself laughing out loud during multiple parts in this book.

Kylie's a klutz and disasters follow her, even when she's hired by David Gamble's music company. David and Kylie are VERY attracted but somebody's out to ruin David and Kylie looks like the most logical suspect.
Funny, but she has almost too many "accidents". Can anyone really be that accident prone? Light read, reasonably well done.

Kylie Rogers has a good heart and a trust fund. David Gamble had a rough upbringing but is now the owner of a successful record company. There are ups and downs in their whirlwind relationship and many humorous encounters as tornados seems to follow Kylie around. As a good chick flick should -all ends well. This book was published in 2002 and has been sitting on my self for years (difficult to find time to read whilst raising a family)... in any case it proved to be the perfect and easy pool read.

My first ever romance book and I'm shocked I continued with the genre.

The only characters I liked in this book were secondary: Bradley and George.

The main characters had unbelievable chemistry and the abrupt time jumps in storytelling were disengaging. David's treatment of Kylie was very cringe and left me feeling equally embarrassed and disgusted by him. Skimmed finish.
