The first part of this book is a good and understandable introduction to aromatherapy followed in the second part by a detailed description of about 80 essential oils. The emphasis lies upon medical and cosmetical application but how to use essential oils for cooking is also mentioned. The third part is listing ailments in alphabetical order and recommends oils to use for treatment. There is no description of magical or spiritual use it refers only to physical problems.
