This was a quick read. There were a few "hacks" I'd never heard of before. Some sections - especially ones related to entertaining tips - I skipped entirely because that sort of thing doesn't interest me. There are a lot of recipes for cleaning which always feel redundant to me. Lots of vinegar and baking soda.
Overall, I'd say it was forgettable, but I also don't regret the 30 minutes or so I spent skimming the parts I found relevant or interesting!
This book was a quick easy read, but I expected more from this book considering it was called hack your home. It was mostly instructions on how to clean your home instead. There was some handy recipes but most of the so called “hacks” were well known tips that have been floating around for years.
So boring. Basically a guide on how to clean every random object in your home and how to store things. The title mentioned styling your home but it didn’t cover that at all.
