Not very mature characters, predictable story.

Andrei Nicolaevich has a plan to take over the Antonov mafia's territory, forcefully. One of the steps is to kidnap Mafia Princess Sandra Antonov until her father gives up territory. Andrei did not plan on on Sandra being well prepared for every threat against her, the future leader of the mafia is a force to be reckoned with and it throws Andrei off guard. Andrei wants her, Sandra wants him but they have to hide in the shadows at what they are doing. What happens though when a common threat betrays both of them and their affair is revealed?

I liked this but for me it did not flow as well because I just could not see the Antonov's forgiving the Nicolaevich's. Otherwise chemistry is there, I liked Sandra, she is a handful and I think she also had to do things as a woman to prove herself to the old boys club. Great book.

But there was someone who wanted to take down both Bratva's and he must work with Sandra to protect their Bratva. Ruthless Rival is great addition to the Bratva Billionaire series. What will Mikhail do when he finds out that his daughter was pregnant with Andrei child? Will he keep them apart or welcome his grandchild? Will he step down and let Sandra take over now that she has fallen in love with Andrei?

Love of a Russian Bratva Romeo and Juliet

When Andrei and his brothers Leo, Samuil, Roman Nicolaevich, and Damien Sidorov, the youngest and half-brother, established their taxi company in Moscow, it was a utilitarian financial decision—big cities need easily accessed transportation. The taxi company provided a needed, affordable and accessible means of transportation, creating an excellent and constant source of income for the brothers’ enterprise.

So, while the decision to invest in the taxi company had been central in establishing a strong income source, it was also key in Andrei’s plans to establish the Nicolaevich Bratva. The taxi service would provide a cover for the organization’s nefarious operations, allowing them to move throughout the city, and to naturally access a means of secretly transporting contraband in the re-built taxi trunks, designed with secret compartments that were easily accessible and dependable. Brilliant and practical, the taxi enterprise provided the Nicolaevich Pakan, Andrei, a darkly handsome man, a means of transporting men and weapons to and from hits, as well as providing an unremarkable means of transporting illegal substances in hidden the compartments of the taxi’s trunks.

But, what the up-and-coming bratva needs most is its own territory within the confines of Moscow. They would have another level of power and allegiance to further enhance the bratva’s influence by charging local businesses a percentage fee of income for the bratva’s benevolence and protection.

So, with daring and brilliance, the bratva doesn’t simple gradually chew on the edges of the largest, most powerful Russian crime organization, the Antonova’s. Author KC Crowne offers her reader another romance that engagingly weaves romantic attraction and danger together, creating a fast-paced tale. My only objections are that the re-connection of the Antonov Bratva family to the Russian setting doesn’t ring true in today’s political world, especial when the story lacks any grounding color—sites, sounds, language or the awareness of the current political dynamics of Russia in the world.

Part of the Bratva Billionaires series each can be read as a standalone with the king or one of them anyway and the queen he wants most or will have if he gets his way which if you have figured out by now he will 😊 so hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!! Andrei sexy as all get out tad bit crazy …..okay all the way crazy oldest brother/leader of the Nicolaevich family, their taxi business which is a front for transporting everything under the sun(all kinds of suspicious goods), he is ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, wants to expand their family business but to do that means taking out another bratva cell, and choosing the larges of course would be the Antonovs bratva so that means planning, weighing his options or his way in without a war if possible meaning finding the one weakness Mikhail Antonovs loves his family so target his family thus breaking their stronghold. Andrei decides to go straight for his weakness by kidnapping his heir, his daughter Sandra and her father gives him part of his territory upon returning his daughter. But what Andrei didn’t expect was to feel something for the beautiful, fearless, fascinating, and alluring women who captivated him, his heart, his dreams, his thoughts in fact she has consumed every thought even after her father agreed to his terms, he wants more of her but with her hate for him. But you know what they say, “there is a thin line between love and hate.” But he wasn’t the only one as much as she hated him for kidnapping her, she can’t help but think, dream about him no matter how hard she tried to not to but neither of them can stay away from the other but what happens when it is her time to lead will anyone follow her or will it be an all out war to take what was left to her, will she trust Andrei to help her lead or can they work together enough to lead expanding both their territories into one will her father allow it, will their families work together instead of against one another, will they be honest about their feelings for each other considering the pull between one another is too strong to ignore, and can the two of them find happiness together despite the way they met?

I loved this story! Andrei Nicolaevich is the oldest brother and leader of the family. Their business as a very large taxi company in Moscow provides cover for their real business. The Nicolaevich Bratva is an aggressive Bratva start-up and under Andrei’s direction, they are expanding…fast. Their non-descript taxis run all over making them great for transporting suspicious goods. Andrei wants even more expansion and that can only happen by taking from a bigger Bratva. He’s a planner weighing his options and Andrei selects the giant Antonovs Bratva to be his target. Andrei finds that the leader, Mikhail Antonovs loves his family and will do anything to keep them safe. So, Andrei uses that weakness and kidnaps Mikhail’s daughter and Bratva heir, Sandra. The hostage turns out to be beautiful, fearless, fascinating, and alluring … he needs to stay away from her. The ploy works and Andrei gets a piece of the Antonovs territory when he returns Sandra. Andrei and Sandra start as bitter enemies but end up with a case of feeling for each other. Their romance is in secret and made very complicated by her advancement as the new leader of the Antonovs family.
The old-school Antonovs Bratva members are not happy that “an "emotional" girl/woman” is now their leader. They have no faith in “her” leadership and many are rebelling. Sexist pigs! Tensions are high and it’s an excellent time for a past enemy to strike. There are lots of misunderstandings and tensions are on high alert as to who will declare war first. Sandra and Andrei are getting closer… there is no turning back for them. When the crap hits the fan lies tear apart these two lovers.
Thankfully, the end is awesome. I loved the characters in this story. I LOVED that strong smart Sandra was well trained by her father to take over as leader. He believes in and respects her. Mikhail Antonovs is a great family man as well as a respected leader of his “Bratva family”. Andrei Nicolaevich is an awesome business strategist. His planning is solid in expanding their holdings without warfare. The five Nicolaevich brothers share a close and loving relationship. I loved the happy ending! To appreciate this novel fully, readers should take advantage of the first book in this series “Highest Bidder” and its bonus/extended epilogue 16 years later. That epilogue reveals who of Mikhail Antonov’s three children is fit to be the next Bratva leader. Shy Frederick reads books while his sisters, twins Charlotte and Sandra, learn “krav maga” from their father. It is no surprise that the firebrand Sandra, more aggressive than her twin, will be the heir apparent.

What I like about this book is that the enemies to lovers romance overshadows the Bratva crime drama - families, jockeying for more money and power in Moscow. After kidnapping Sandra to get the attention of her father, Andrei Nicolaevich is prepared and anticipated repercussions by the Antonovs. What shocks him is his attraction to Sandra. Their “I hate you” reactions to each other steam up your Kindle screen. They hate each other a lot in this novel ❤️‍🔥. Readers will love the female lead, Sandra Antonov. She is fierce, strong, volatile, spews obscenities and is extremely loyal to her loving family. Andrei has the same characteristics with loyalty to his brothers. The MC’s know that their relationship is problematic, especially since the Antonovs are Moscow’s major Bratva family, whose power Andrei is threatening. Besides their families’ disapproval, there is another obstacle to the couple’s HEA…a detective who’s seeking revenge against the Bratva for murdering his family.
Crowne gives us another intensely satisfying Bratva romance and it appears she could add more to this series with stories about Frederick and Charlotte, but I think she should do a spin off with Andrei’s brothers - Roman, Leo, Samuil, and Damien. I have received an ARC from Booksprout and I am leaving an unbiased review voluntarily.

Great story.
Have loved reading the Antonov family stories so knew about Sandra from them & was looking forward to reading the next generations. Sandra showed from the start how strong she was with how she was dealing with being kidnapped by the Nicolaevich family having been brought up as the heir to the Bratvia family did not make it easy on them as a bargaining chip against her father. Andrei didn't realise in kidnapping Sandra he would be getting more than just the power he bargained for. Having suddenly become the family leader following her dad's retirement her first meeting with leaders did she didn't expect to see Andrei there or be belittled by the men under her control who only want to deal with her father but she stood strong. She had no intention of letting Andrei take over any of her territory & he was not going to give up his takeover which saw them meet in enexpected places. There was sexual chemistry between them when he held her captive & it only got worse each time they saw each other which lead to them take risks being they were mortal enemies. Not only were their families at war with each but there was another party wanting to see her family destroyed which led to some dangerous, secrets exposed leading to very emotional times.
Although their families were enemies & should never have any future I was desperately hoping that there would somehow be together.
Once you start reading this you won't want to put it down.

A Love Born Out Of Despair -
The last thing Sandra expected when she was kidnapped, was to find herself intensely attracted to her kidnapper. Andrei’s only goal was to take over the Andronov territory, so the last thing he expected was to be attracted to Sandra whilst he was keeping her captive. Even though they continued their relationship in secret after she was released, the last thing they expected was for anyone to find out their secret and use it against them.

Unfortunately, this caused friction between them and their families, that is until the misunderstanding was cleared up. However, their decision to seek vengeance on their mutual enemy didn’t go as planned and this ultimately caused the revelation of their secret, which caused dire consequences for them. As luck would have it, Sandra’s twin sister felt guilty about what her parents did and decided to help Andrei and Sandra get back on track towards a happy and fulfilling life together.

Warning! If you have a faint heart and you are not prepared to experience one heck of a rollercoaster ride as you turn the pages, then this book isn’t for you. However, if you want to find yourself totally engrossed in a mind blowing story, that will entertain you and leave you thirsting for more, then I urge you to grab a copy of this book now, as if will definitely be worth your time.

Sandra Antonov did not expect her day to end with her getting kidnapped and thrown into a truck of a vehicle. She stays calm throughout it because she has been trained for this her whole life for moments like this. She just wonders who is dumb enough to mess with the biggest mafia in Moscow. She gets a glimpse of the people responsible. Boy, are they in for a surprise.

Andrei Nicolaevich has been planning to take down the Antonov family for some time. Him and his brothers have been studying them from a far. He knows that Sandra's father will do anything to protect his successor. He did not expect for her to be so fierce and strong. He calls her father to let him know that if he wants his successor returned to him, he will give up total control of Moscow and leave the city with his entire family.

After some time, her father agrees to give them a small piece of the south of Moscow. When Sandra returns home, her father makes the announcement that he will be retiring, and it is time for her to take her place as the pakhan. The first thing on her list is to take down Andrei and take back what he took from her family.

From here is where the fun begins. Sandra and Andrei each take steps to interfere with each others businesses while trying to fight their attraction for each other. What happens when they finally do give into it? How will their families handle their relationship? Who is trying to start a war between them?

Sandra is a bratva princess set to take over when her father retires and is used to their lifestyle... She didn't expect to be kidnapped and held so that negotiations could be made.
Andrei is the boss of his family bratva who needs land in order to be taken seriously.
Feelings soon surface between the two but they recognise them as feelings of lust and hate.
Stealing her families land and making their rule seem weaker pushes Sandra's hand when she is finally released.
Enemies in name only, they cannot help but sneak around and satisfy their urges for one another even if it is wrong.
War is possible and nothing is simple especially when Sandra discovers she is carrying Andrei's child.

This was a bittersweet mafia romance that is written to be frustrating, violent, tough, addictive and tinged with betrayal. In typical style there are those who are not loyal and those who prove their loyalty to those they shouldn't. I loved that these two unlikely characters are unable to deny their feelings and cannot resist the pull of the other from the first.
There are parts I struggled with towards the end but not everything is always so black and white.
A well written bratva story that sees a woman taking a leading role in a world made for men.
Their love is complicated and forbidden with the power struggle within the families but I enjoyed this impossible connection they form.

The second generation of the Antonov Bratra starts out with what you would think would be a real grabber, but actually it landed pretty flat when Mikhail seemed to lay down beside it giving in to the kidnappers of his oldest daughter, Sandra. Andrei Nicolaevich of an up an coming Bratra kidnapped her to gain territory in Moscow. After several days, Mikhail handed over the requested area for the release of Sandra, and upon her return home announced his retirement as head of the Antonov Bratra promoting Sandra to the new lead role. During her time with Andrei, they noticed a chemistry between them that they each thought would go away once she was released, but that chemistry refused to be denied which it played in to the hand of a detective trying to get back at the Antonov's for getting his wife and daughter killed twenty years ago. He used it to set up an ambush to get Sandra's brother shot making it look like Andrei was behind it starting a war between the two Bratras. Would Andrei and Sandra ever find their happily ever after? What started out as a subpar story soon turned to a fast moving, action packed, hang on to the edge of your chair thriller to the end.

If you are looking for an Enemies to Lovers story, this one is perfect for you. Rival Bratvas in Russia are very vindictive. Especially Andrei. He wants to own what the Antonov's have. So what's a guy to do? Kidnap the leader's daughter. Sounds about right. Little does he know that Sandra is a bit wild. And she can fend for herself. The fights they have while she is chained to the wall is ruthless. Sandra is so strong. I felt bad for Andrei and his brothers for a bit.

When her father (Mikhail from the first book in this series) agrees to give Andrei a portion of his territory in return for Sandra, you think that's it for the two of our enemies. Wrong!

Sandra and Andrei have this love-hate relationship throughout the book. And it's those sex scenes that you see who is really in control in the relationship. Andrei softens because of Sandra. Sandra becomes a leader because of her strength and fearlessness.

I can't wait to read this book again. Just because I loved the characters so much!.

I loved Andrei and Sandra's story and the author keeps you turning the pages until the end. Andrei Nicolaevich is the head of the Bratva and runs a taxi company to hide his illegal dealings. He's not happy when a cop comes sniffing around his taxi company. Andrei kidnaps Sandra Antonov to get some more of their land to try and take over Moscow. Sandra Antonov is his rival and the upcoming leader after her father since she is the eldest child in the family. Will his plan work, and will Mischa give up some land to get his daughter back? Andrei finds himself doing something he never thought would happen he starts getting feelings for Sandra.
I received an arc for my voluntary honest review for NNBB. You will love this book if you love a hot mafia romance with some angst, twists, and turns you don't see coming. There may be some triggers for people in this read, so heed the author's warnings if you have triggers. Although this is part of the Bratva Billionaires Series, it can be read as a stand-alone.

At first, I thought the series was over because it covered the four main brothers of the Antonov family, but I was so happy to see the next generation come around. This book is about Sandra, the daughter of the head of the Antonov Bratva.
Sandra never thought she’d be taking over so soon, but her father was ready to step down. Course the first thing she does is get kidnapped by Andrei, the up-and-coming leader of a different bratva. Talk about your enemies to lovers. This book was so good there is excitement around every corner, there is love, there are lies, and of course there are gun fights, because we are talking about the Russian mob. It does have an amazing ending. All I can say is I sure hope the series continues with Sandra’s, twin sister and her younger brother. And Andrei’s brothers would be really good. Each of the characters were introduced into the book, and you get to know them quite well so it is exciting and hopeful that their books will be coming. Absolutely a wonderful book.

This is a follow on from the Antonov Bratva books, this book is about Sandra, one of the daughters of Mikhail.
She is set to become the new leader of her family bratva, so when she is kidnapped by Andrei, leader of a new up and coming Bratva family, she holds her own against him. However, with her being threatened, her father gives up some of his territory for her to be released.
The time she spent with Andrei though led them both to become attracted to each other. They end up starting a secret relationship, an enemies with benefits arrangement. But will they be able to keep this going when their families are at odds with each other and what happens when a detective decides to use their relationship to get revenge on Sandra's family. Will they end up with a HEA in the end.

I enjoyed reading this book and hope there will be others to follow in this series.

I truly loved this book. Full of action, emotion, danger, suspense and romance most of all.
This was about Sandra of the Antonov Bratva who was kidnapped by Andrei and his brothers from the Nicolaevich Bratva, their arch enemies.
This really had it all. It really enjoyed the interaction between Andrei and Sandra. They start off mortal enemies but the attraction is certainly there from the start. Both Andrei and Sandra are tough and take prisoners wherever they go but both are forgiving also. They work well together. So well.
So well written, I loved the addition of the two families, his brothers and her family really added depth to the story. The little bit of steam helps also. Very well done. I highly recommend this book especially if you're a Mafia fan as well.

Holy epic love teetering on a cliff! This was SO good! I loved that we are going into the future with the Antonovs. This is the story for Sandra, Mikhail and Aurora's oldest twin daughter. And I gotta say, I absolutely loved her. She was a complete and total badass. I loved how Andrei was completely surprised by her, repeatedly. And I adored watching his feelings for her grow. The danger aspect was so well written and was perfectly interspersed with the steamy. Their chemistry was crazy explosive from the start. I mean come on, when she wouldn't drink any water? Holy. Smokes. KC did them justice. It was absolute perfection. I loved the ending and you absolutely must get the bonus epilogue. 😍😍

I needed a book that would speak to me because I’ve been in a book slump and this did the trick. The story takes place in Russia as two families compete for power and control. Sandra is the heir to the Antonov Bratva and Andrei is the boss in charge of the Nicolaevich Bratva. Andrei is ruthless when he is trying to reach his goals of taking over the city. Sandra is badass and determined not to let anyone make her fail. They fall in list instantly, but don’t give in until they see each other in action, leading and taking control. It’s like a game of foreplay. And when they come together, it’s like fireworks. The fight for power and dominance doesn’t end in the bedroom. But I think my heart was lost once Andrei started showing love and tenderness towards Sandra. I couldn’t wait for them to realized they were in love. Definitely a great book!

I love this story of Misha's daughter, he's trained her to lead, and be a force to be reconned with and wow is she. I love the banter between these two, the instant attraction is so full of passion that neither can ignore, even they both know it's wrong to desire the enemy. Andrei is quite intrigued by her; he's kept her captive several days and she's still as strong and feisty as day one. Can she follow her heart? Will a war start from their involvement? Sandra and Andre develop an attraction to each other and start acting on it in secret once she is released back home.
This book has steam, romance, action and a solid storyline and fabulous characters.
I loved Andrei and Sandra's HEA it gives you all the feels and warm tingles!.

Sandra is the heir to the Russian Bratva and so she is somewhat prepared when she gets kidnapped. But after weeks of being chained to the floor in a basement she is getting a little scared but things seem to be heating up between her and the Boss Andrei. She is happy to be set free but also feels like she will miss him.
But when she is told her father had a heart attack while she was held and is going to retire, she realizes that she is now the Pakhan and can't show any weakness.
Steamy, steamy scenes, gun fights, a disgruntled detective and amazing characters makes this book definitely worth the time.

KC Crowne has done it again! Just when I was getting sad the the Antonov Bratva series has ended, she surprises us with a new family.
The story is fast forwarded to when Mikhail and Aurora’s oldest daughter Sandra is being groomed to take over her father’s empire. As usual, some small family is attacking the Antonov’s to get their territory. Sandra gets kidnapped and held for ransom. It doesn’t seem like her and Andrei have anything in common, but sparks fly. Definitely a lot of suspense with an HEA at the end.
We’re also introduced to Andrei’s other brothers so I can’t wait to see what their stories are.

Andrei Nicolaevich wants to merge his family's criminal enterprise with the Antonov bratva. Mikhail Antonov wants nothing to do with his deal, so Andrei kidnaps Mikhail's daughter Sandra Antonov to force his hand. That doesn't work, but Andrei and Sandra discover an attraction to each other that is bound to have difficult consequences.

I liked this continuation of the series. Although the characters are criminals, they have a love for their families that is admirable, and their own codes of ethics that keep them from being savage. There is plenty of action and plot twists to keep one's interest. I hope that the author will continue this next generation saga.

Love that we get to read about the next generation of the Antonov family. Sandra is Mikhail and Aurora daughter, and she has always wanted to be involved in the Bratva life growing up. She is just like her father and uncles. Andrei is an up an coming rival of them and wants to take them out. So, he finds a way to kidnap Sandra and set his plan in motion. What he didn't expect is the feelings he was having toward her. After she back home she gets her shot now of taking over the Bratva with her father stepping down. Will she be able to command and run this just as efficient? When a common enemy shows up with, they be able to shut him down before he ruins both Bratva's. A great story and hope we get more from the other kids as well.

Andrei is the head of the Nicolaevich Bratva, he looking to take over some of the Antonov Bratva's territory. He comes up with a plan to abduct Sandra Antonov, heir apparent, he will trade her for all they own. He never does send an pieces of her to her father, he just cannot bring himself to do it.

Sandra cannot believe the nerve of the man, does he not know who she is? After a few weeks, they have gained some of the Antonov territory, she is released. The pair see each other at club, agree to meet and sleep together. This starts the "frequent meetings" between the two.

There are other players that want the two at odds, will Andrei find out who is behind it before something happens to Sandra?.

Ruthless Rival is an action packed steamy, story where Mikhail Antonov's daughter Sandra and Andrei of the Nicolaevich Bratva come together. A great story with danger, suspense, betrayal and love. This book as with the others in this series is a page turning, easy to read, action packed story with easy to fall for characters that you grow very fond of. I absolutely could not put this book down, the chemistry between Sandra and Andrei is off the charts and instant they both try to fight it but can they? What’s going to happen (not if) when it comes out they are lovers. I highly recommend this story, actually the whole series! It will give you better insight but absolutely not necessary. Sandra is the daughter of a mafia bratva who is to take over when he retires. Andrei is the mafia bratva leader of a rival bratva. He takes Sandra to trade for territory. He gets what he wants and lets her go. In the meantime theres a police detective on his tail. The two rivals keep coming together and they have very hot chemistry. Mix a father retiring and shes the new bratva leader thats not trusted by the men of their territories and a rival bratva leader who wants more their chemistry the dectective all the danger drama and you have a great story. A must read to add to yalls Mafia stories.
