A very basic introduction to bees, covering the bare minimum of facts to start a kiddo learning about them. A solid amount of info without being overwhelming that could spark further interest or satisfy curiosity. The photographs are colorful and clear, helping the reader(s) see details on bees that we usually can’t see just looking at them outside.

This book is all about bees. It talks about how they live in big groups and build their hives in trees or rocks. It talks about how they transport pollen and nectar from flowers and make it into honey. The book labels the parts of the bee. The book also gives websites to where you can find activities, crafts and facts. I love this book. The pictures are very nice. I think the information in the book is great and not overwhelming. I will use this when we talk about insects and animals. I can take the kids to see the beehives at the library. We can try honey. We can put honey on different things to taste.
