In those early days Wooster had little idea of the cottage industry quietly expanding in its midst. By 1990, however, many sections of the United States are keenly aware of The Cat's Meow buildings and accessories and just as keenly await their arrival at local stores.

Dee Williams grew up in Rotherhithe, East London, and left school at fourteen. After living abroad, she settled in Hampshire with her husband, where she remains active as a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness while staying close to her family.
