slowest burn ever😫 but honestly such a good book i barely put it down. i read this so fast it was a binge read the ending- i’m gone SOOOO GOOODDDDD one of my faves now
okay, i’m just going to use this because goodreads has the old covers on the individual books and i’m not about to have my friends see those💀
binding 13- pros this book was so full of emotions. raw and honest romance, sibling love, parental love and hate, etc. i cried a few times reading this. also loved that there was a few pages just to explain early 2000’s irish slang terms in the beginning, that was helpful. side characters add a lot to the story (gibsie and claire <3). also the “who did this to you” thing!
cons it was so cringy at times. shannon keeps talking about how she’s so tiny and “not like other girls.” like i get where she was going with that but… it wasn’t it. and the amount of time johnny spent talking about his injury… i don’t really want to hear about how much your groin hurts johnny. i get that it really really hurts but why not hide it from us like you hid it from everyone else? that way we don’t have to read it. i love the “who did this to you” trope but i feel like johnny asked that so many times. and i know shannon didn’t want to tell him because obviously it was her father but johnny was pushing it quite a bit.

This is probably the best series ever! It deserves all the hype and it genuinely got me out of the biggest reading slump of my life! I am emotionally attached to these books now though..
