** This story was previously on Kindle Vella. The story is the same and no new content has been added. He's a CEO in the making, and she's an aspiring attorney. Both are teetering on the edge, about to lose everything they've worked so hard for.
Aden, the heir to the largest real estate firm in the state, has everything - except the board's trust. His playboy image stands between him and the CEO chair..
Jordan, on the other hand, is on the brink of being booted from law school, thanks to looming tuition fees and a fast-approaching deadline.
As their worlds teeter on the brink, an unexpected ally hears of their plights. More than just offering a solution, she crafts a master plan that changes everything.
I liked this story, it was cute. I don't think I've read a lot of books by this author, so it was refreshing. The drama was heavy on the ex who would not sit down and be quiet. The marriage of convenience part was typical. Neither wanted to be married to the other and ended with a real relationship. I don't like the male c-word, that's my only complaint. A cute enemy-to-lovers story.
I have enjoyed many ready by this author and this title was no different. The banter between the FMC and MMC was entertaining. An ambitious couple that was willing to do what’s was needed. Nice balance of story and spice. I would recommend for those who like arranged marriages.
I am still new to Ayelle Burke's catalog. After reading King and Sir, I really fell for her writing style and decided to read more of her books. I Thee Wed was a recommended read and it definitely lives up to the hype. The book is a medium-paced read with some drama and a little bit of spice. I enjoyed the characters and the story a lot. The marriage of convenience trope mixed with the enemies to lovers trope worked perfectly, too.

I love your work Ayelle Burke. This book was a breath of fresh air. I needed a pallette reset and you have it too me with those one. I was completely immersed in this story. I will always love arranged marriages. This one was cute...and loving. Y'all just read the damn book.
Very cute story, but it moved so fast it didn’t feel authentic. From enemies to lovers to in love in a few weeks. For me, it didn’t give me enough time to go on their journey. I still have questions about Jordan’s mom. Also, Sam’s animosity didn’t just come out of no where. What’s the deal with that? Overall, the plot was cute, but I think the storyline and details needed some more umph.
And, just a note, you can’t test positive for pregnancy until 4 weeks and a heartbeat doesn’t form until somewhere between 6-7 weeks pregnant. Ultrasounds early in pregnancy are done internally.
I really enjoyed this book. I started when it was only pieces given at a time. I was glad to read all of it without having to wait. I related to the real estate business because I’m an agent.
The storyline was better than I expected. It wasn’t as cliche’ but tasteful. I didn’t put it down until I was finished because I was caught up 🤭
This was a beautiful love story. I love the way Aden warmed up to Jordan. The development of their journey was awesome. The characters blended throughout the book. Karma was also a welcome site for those who deserved it. This is a great book!
Aden didn't even realize that he needed someone to bring joy into his life and herb name was Jordan........ This was a great story can't wait to read more of your books
