Another gripping and dark chapter into this seductive power play series.
We've seen the games, the pain, the pleasure, now we venture into the vulnerability.
Alison and Jarad both expose their haunting secrets and it changes everything.
They have both been broken and used, they are damaged souls and toxic, but they fit together so well.
Unfortunately the month long contract is coming to an end, Jarad has his forced and arranged marriage to contend with, and meddling forces keep intervening.
Anxiously waiting for the next book and how this series will play out.
We've seen the games, the pain, the pleasure, now we venture into the vulnerability.

As always, Anne will do it for me EVERY SINGLE TIME.
This is the 3rd book in the series and shows a different perspective to Jared and Alison. Jared has a contract on Alison for a month of him owning her before he gets married to someone he doesn’t want to be married to (similar to an arranged marriage that would be beneficial to his family). As much as they are enemies, I can’t help but want them to be end game SO BAD. I feel like they would eventually fall in love and be happy, but it’s so hard to see where Anne will go with this series.
The spice was great, I love the action happening through the entire story, loved how Anne continues to show Jared and Alison in new and refreshing ways. It did end in a cliffhanger, but is one of those series I will continue to see where Anne takes these two! CAN NOT WAIT FOR BOOK 4!

These characters keep getting better and better!
The month long contract is halfway through between Jared and Allison, and we keep learning more and more about their past secrets and understanding why they are the way they are. Jared is engaged to a woman who is dominant and he doesn’t want to be controlled again. Allison is falling for Jared even though she is married.
Secretly I am wanting Allison and Jared to be together even though she was his bully.
I can’t wait for the next book!!!!

Arc review of obsession the 3th Book in the Dark Revenge series. Thank you again for the extra time you gave me to review this book, I’m in a better state now. I’m really grateful!💕
After everything that happened something switched again and a lot of secrets were disclosed. Jared and Allison’s Charakter develop even more. There was a lot they found out about each other. They can somewhat understand why the other did what they did and can see themself in each other. There is a lot of inner Monolog going on so you can see the change there even if they don’t verbally disclose it or really show it to the other person. You have flashbacks to the time they were back in school and saw a different perspective and the motives on the things that occurred.

I kinda don’t trust Vince and the stunt he pulled just confirmed it. What is his end plan? We know that he wants jarred to marry Astrid but why? Is it just because of the business or is there something else going on? He knew exactly what he did when he ordert Jared to end this guy and what would happen. So what does he really want? He is a sneaky old man.

Review:
I've read this saga since the beginning and I can say that each time I'm intrigued even more, the development of the characters is incredible is slow making us stay captivated in each book. The writing and the plot twists in each book have me on the edge of madness with these characters, I love them and am increasingly intrigued by what dark secrets they will reveal to us. Although I have a love-hate towards these characters because I don't know if they should stay together or not I would love to see them but at the same time I think it would be the best thing for them.
Allison's every secret impressed me and I know she is not a cruel person she has just been in horrible situations so much so that her parents didn't set the best example for her. Her growth as a character is amazing one of the best I've read to see true, it's slow her growth but every step left is extremely significant. As for Jared, he still has a lot to sort out still, with his feelings for Alison. The spice in this book felt even more intense than the others because it added that spark that both characters needed the desire beyond obsession. I already want to know how the story ends for the main characters will they be able to be separated from each other or will they be made to stay together?

🖤Obsession is book 3 in the Dark Revenge Series and oh my goodness we continue with all of the chaos and fabulous shmenky business we loved in books 1 and 2.
🖤Things between Alison and Jared really amp up in this book. Just when I thought I couldn’t adore Jared more, I fell even harder. He has my heart and the more we learn about him, his history and the life choices forced upon him the deeper I fall.
🖤Vacillating between past and present timelines adds so much depth to Alison and Jared’s story. Motivation behind behaviors comes to light and provides reasoning behind actions, right and wrong. It is emotionally all consuming. Slowly, but surely questions are answered and their crazy, tormented pieces start to fit together. There is definitely a dramatic shift in their relationship and I cannot wait to see how the rest unfolds.
🖤Victor is still a giant question mark for me. I can’t decide how I feel about him. There’s something unsettling about his behavior for me. Astrid and her family are true horror and is yet another part of Jared‘s life that is full of questions and a massive source of anxiety.
🖤 This an excellent true enemies to lovers story filled with action, secrets and top shelf spice that once again has left me in a pool of emotional unrest. I cannot wait for the next book because I seriously have zero clue as to where this story is going but want so much more. This series is a definite read for any dark romance lover.

🖤Victor is still a giant question mark for me. I can’t decide how I feel about him. There’s something unsettling about his behavior for me. Astrid and her family are true horror and is yet another part of Jared‘s life that is full of questions and a massive source of anxiety.
🖤 This an excellent true enemies to lovers story filled with action, secrets and top shelf spice that once again has left me in a pool of emotional unrest. I cannot wait for the next book because I seriously have zero clue as to where this story is going but want so much more. This series is a definite read for any dark romance lover.

Obsession is the third installment in the Dark Revenge Series. In this book, readers are once again immersed into the tragic, chemistry infused, crazy world of Jared and Alison. As the contract between Jared and Alison is coming to an end they discover secrets that even the other didn't know that brings them closer together than ever. Their chemistry and Jared's punishments are top notch as always. This series has me conflicted. Even though their relationship is not quite where it should be I just want them to have a happily ever after. At the same time I never want the fun and games to end. I can't wait until Temptation comes out. There is so much left to resolve. Now that the contract has ended they somehow have to reconnect. Will they finally realize that they are meant for each other? What happens between Alison and her husband. Does Jared marry Astrid(I hope not)? This series is amazing and I can't wait to see what is next for Jared and Alison. If you have not read this series you are seriously missing out.

I have read this series from the beginning and it is so intriguing. The characters are still developing even though it is book three it has only been a month. There are still many plot twists and even more dark secrets revealed. These two have more in common than they realize.
We got to see more into Allison’s past and Jared thought he knew her but he was missing big pieces of her stories. Her growth as a character is amazing. I feel like Jared still has to figure out his feelings for Allison. Jared has endured a lot because of Alison and he is set on revenge but I just feel like Alison is the person for him. I also can’t stand Astrid so I hope he isn’t with her forever.
I was honestly shocked that Allison went home but I don’t think it was the end for them. I do wonder if they will end up together and she becomes pregnant because her husband wasn’t the right person so it never happened. I am curious how the next few books will play out. I am also curious about Vince because he has called Allison “little dove” and what he is up to.

Jared really has put Allison through it, he is so dominant and can be very cruel in his actions and words. There was times l wanted to strangle him. He is engaged to a horrible woman, she loves to dominant men, and Jared refuses to let anyone have that power over him again. Allison fmc is confused about her feelings for Jared, l think she has always wanted him, but as a child couldn't express those feelings. And she does it again! I had hoped that there would be some enemies to lovers situation with how the story was evolving and now I really hope that they somehow stay together. I know the history is not ideal but I think Allison brings out the softer side of Jared that he has never experienced and from the glimpses of what he could possibly be - I just want him to be happy. What if…stick with me…what if they end up together and pregnant? Like maybe she was waiting for him to finally be hers in order for her dreams to come true?! I know this a dark revenge series but like you never know right?! Lol. Anyway the spice is always on point and I love them. The others - ehh not so much - they can all go screw themselves - but I get why the story needs them. 🤷🏻♀️😁

Jared and Allison are such a broken pair, with so much trauma, but they work so well (at least this far in the “game”). Book 3 of the series is such a great follow up in this series but dang it Anne to leave us hanging YET AGAIN!!! Ugh!!

The Payback is Over
Revenge in this story is served either on a cold plate—or like a piece of cake.
It’s surprising how many lives could have been saved, and how many beautiful memories created, if humans simply used their mouths to communicate instead of insulting or degrading each other with the worst vocabulary and low actions.
It’s a dark story, with a clear content warning at the start, but I was impressed by how the author gave each lead character exactly what they deserved.
Like others with the same pattern of trope warnings, this story reflects a truth our reality often ignores:
The victim can become the brutal abuser, and the once-feared abuser can end up on their knees, pleading for mercy.

There was definitely a shift in their relationship and I can’t wait to see what happens and to see if they can stay away from each other.
I’m still not sure about Vince. Something is for sure off with him.

This author has a knack for telling a good “enemies to deeper enemies to lovers” story. She’s mastered the art of having an incredible amount of spice with a slow move to lovers. I can’t wait to see where Jared and Alison go next.
The dialogue sometimes feels overdone and there is more over explaining in inner monologue than I’m used to, but the overall story is unique and enthralling.

Arc Review
Obsession is the third installment in the Dark Revenge series and packs an equally amazing punch as the first two. Throughout this book Jared and Alison’s real characters and motivations are uncovered. It was super enjoyable to see the characters develop emotionally. Their internal monologues had me kicking my feet at times. I loved the progression of the plot and I’m intrigued for the finale!

This was definitely on the darker side of dark romance. Please check trigger warnings. With that said, I absolutely loved this dark story. The MMC was perfectly morally grey and unhinged at times. The FMC was perfect in her role, and I enjoyed watching her character development. The writing takes you to the dark side and keeps you wanting more. I personally had a love-hate relationship with the MMC. I look forward to seeing how the story continues.

Obsession is book 3 in the Dark Revenge series and definitely lives up to it's title.
It ends on a cliffhanger but either way you'll be completely hooked! The characters and storyline are brilliant and this authors ability to tell a compelling story is utterly perfect. Another fantastic addition to this fantastic series.

I loved the progression in this book. More twists and turns, more conversations about intentions. I love the roleplaying. If I can make a suggestions, a deeper well written kiss scene is spicier than any repetitive raunchy scenes. They're too short, sadly.
I can't wait until the 4th book. The author plans to have 6 books, with the 6th one being a spinoff.

The shift in this relationship in book 3 is just incredible. I can’t help but think I’m not the only one rooting for Alison and Jared to end up together 😭🤣

This was a great 3rd installment of the Dark Revenge series; I had no idea when I got to the end there is still one more! Anne has done a great job of keeping the story moving. It was no surprise that there is definitely more to the relationship between Jared and Allison than what the plot eludes to. I have really enjoyed the flashbacks that align with present day scenes; they definitely give a sense of the characters' development, good and bad. I look forward to the (I'm guessing) conclusion of their story!
