Sweet, small-town romantic women's fiction you'll adore. A wonderful blend of seaside settings, strong female characters and all the happy-ever-afters.
'If you need a cosy, escapist, small-town romance to whisk you away from the humdrum, you're so in the right place.'
Not just a romance book, a Polly Babbington romance book.
Nina Lavendar is doing rather well - a certain man and a certain small town have healed her broken heart, and she is feeling all the life feels. She loves the business that has fallen in her lap, her romance is blooming for the whole of Lovely Bay to see, and she’s cleansed herself of a few things that were like a noose around her neck.
Things really are turning out to be very good indeed, and when someone proposes something she hadn’t seen coming, it gets even sweeter when she jumps right on in and says yes, yes, yes.
Everything is looking on the rosy blush side of romcom perfect… that is, until something comes along and takes the wind right out of our Nina’s sails.
Buckle up, this one is a ride and we do like a Polly ride… Clare, Goodreads Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'Been a long time since I have sat and read a whole book in a day.'

'Love the books, want them to go on forever!' KM55, Amazon Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'I absolutely love this book, like all Polly's books, this is a smasher! Lovely characters, wonderful location & a dreamy romance, along with contemporary problems & juggling life's balls!' Jenny M, Amazon Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A cosy read, about the lovely Nina at Lovely Bay - a lovely wedding, a bit of intrigue, and the joys of having a great circle of supportive friends. We all need a Bridie & Sophie as our friends. Somewhere between a 3 and 4 star book. I know the location is Lovely Bay, but lovely was used as an adjective or noun too often. I was intrigued by the title, but nothing much about the flowers (other than as decorations for the wedding party).
Wildflowers at the Summer HotelLovely Bay: Polly Babbington.
I really enjoyed this book about Nina and Robbie’s story. Sad but romantic at the same time, lots of different layers of surprises and not so nice shocks. All towards a very Lovely Bay ending. I recommend any of Polly Babbington,s books. You will want to finish before anything else happens
It’s hard not to get drawn into the charms of Lovely Bay. Nina is moving on with her life and takes us with us on her personal and professional journey. Full of delicious scenery and delightful characters, this is comfort reading at its best.
Polly never fails to deliver - yet another book so hard to put down. I just love how all the characters come to life and you just immerse yourself in their lives. Next book already pre-ordered.
Nina and Robbie get to the the knot, but experience a few problems along the way. Another lovely read by Polly. Delightful escapism, catching up with old friends. Looking forward to the end of Nina's story. Keep em coming Polly!
I have without fail read each and every one of the books Polly has written. I’m signed up to the email newsletter and looked forward with eagerness to this new trilogy. The first book was promising and lived up to the newsletters hype, sadly this, the second book, didn’t.
There is an incredible amount of repetition and in its self it should bouncy you along to the end of the tail. However the content is very light and feels as if it has been written in a rush. It would have been great to read more of the renovation and her new relationship rather than a quite weak story about a woman who had mysteriously returned and was now stalking the main character.
A 1/3 of the way in I’d had enough and pretty much scan read the rest of the book just to finish it. It’s the first time I am seriously contemplating not reading the final book in the trilogy.
