The book of Revelation: A commentary - Book 1 of 3

Rate this book
The one book in the bible that churches today talk about the least is the book of Revelation. It can be the most intimidating, confusing and daunting book of the bible and understandably many Christians tend to avoid it.

This commentary series is not only highly informative but also very readable with a devotional element added in. Every verse is looked at in detail, revealing wonderful truths, doctrines and life application principles. After reading this series, you will have an understanding of the book of Revelation that will make sense of the difficult descriptive language it contains.

Pastor Chris Wickland has spent many years researching Old Testament apocalyptic texts and using them as keys to unlock many of the difficult passages in the book of Revelation. This commentary series also seeks to pull in strands of understanding, from Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox and Jewish sources, including thoughts and themes as understood by the early church fathers.

This commentary series will help the church at large to not only get to grips with the book of Revelation but also to see it as a book of joyous hope; a hope that it was always intended to give.
