What a cool series of biographical graphic novels! Bio-graphic novels? The illustrations are great. And this is packed with facts of Henry's life. I probably would've gone 5 stars but found it overall to be a little boring. Maybe I'm too spoiled with Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales: One Dead Spy, but I wish that there could have been some more interesting parts of his life included here.

Not a graphic novel fan myself, but this one is nice for getting kids to read about history. Bright, colorful images and just a brief lost of Henry's accomplishments and personal life. Just enough to engage a young reader and spark curiosity...or keep the ones not into history engaged enough to comprehend what they are reading and possibly retain it.

Would be excellent for reading along with our social studies curriculum about colonies before the Revolution. Focuses on Patrick Henry in the context or major historical events.
