Having Honor
At almost thirty years old, Honor Hayes is yet again dealing with the dumpster fire that has become her life. The queen of self-sabotage, she packs up her car and leaves town before the fallout after sleeping with her boss' wife.

Her love of writing began at age 9, and she wrote her first novel at age 12, wishing to follow in the footsteps of childhood idol, S.E. Hinton. She was published for the first time at age 24 with her novel, First.
Kim has followed her dreams right into the film industry, writing screenplays for production companies in Los Angeles, as well as for her own production company, Asp Films with business partner, Kelly Neal. Their first feature film, Self Portrait – written, directed and co-produced by Kim – premiered in Denver in June of 2013.
She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her beloved cats. She is always adding to her ever-growing collection of swords and historic memorabilia. She is a huge fan of music, including musical theater. The "musical" love of her life is Sarah Brightman, who she tosses a mention of in every book she can.

Having Honor pulls together the Wynter families with the history that binds them. A reunion that makes you want to re-read all the previous Wynter books again.
The reader feels the interactions of Honor and Amelia with the people of Wynter, creating their individual sense of acceptance, peace, security, love by being in the place, with the people, everyone searches to find.
Highly recommend reading Having Honor as well as all the previous books in the Wynter Series.

Kim Pritekel never disappoint in her books! She has become one of my favorite authors. I was hook from the first page. The relationship between Honor and Amelia is very loving. They both help each other to move on from their past. I was happy to see Bethany and Mercy again. This book is a more then a 5 star book.

Having Honor is another book in the Wynter series. It started way back when & has grown into a family that follows generations in the small town.
Each character in the other books are present in this one as well except the ones who have died over the years. I really enjoy this series as it brings you close family ties while not forgeting the the ones that helped establish this town.
Having Honor brings you into the "rescue mission" of the women in this town as they rescue women in abusive relationships, remove them from the situation & give them a new start. Some women in this book have their own story of hardships that brought them to the town of Wynter.
The MC in this one that has been rescued is Amalia. The other MC that has arrived in the town is Honor, a troubled young woman, who is her own worst enemy! Both women will touch your heart as they grow & mature nurtured by the other women in Wynter!
Follow these 2 women as well as the established women from the other books in this series.
You will laugh, cry, get angry & also feel good about what this town & women in it accomplish & how supportive they are of each other!
Each book in the series can be read alone, but you miss a lot of the history of the women mentioned.

Love this series
This series makes you want to live Wynter. The character's are well developed and all of them would make great friends. With each book you get to see how characters are doing as you meet new.friends.. I hope there's a book seven. Thanks for s great book

The Wynter series by Kim Pritekel holds such a special place in my heart. I’ve reread it multiple times, and every time, it feels like coming home. It's a beautiful, slow-burn romance set in the fictional Colorado town of Wynter — a place so vivid and comforting that I honestly wish it existed in real life. (If it did, I would move there in a heartbeat!)
Kim Pritekel has created a world that's cozy, full of heart, and incredibly real. The characters are what truly make this series shine: layered, genuine, and impossible not to love. Watching the relationships unfold slowly and naturally made the emotional payoff even more satisfying. It’s the kind of story that lingers with you, long after you close the book.
If you’re someone who loves small-town settings, characters that feel like family, and a romance that takes its time (in the best way), this is great series!
