The author does a great job of listing different considerations for estimating at a level of detail beginners can absorb. I appreciate the robust list of training resources, software and the types of certifications available to help navigate the estimating process. I also appreciated the glossary of terms to help familiarize readers with lingo associated with construction project estimating. It's a great book to get someone interested in this topic started.

Wouldn't recommend it as it really is academic and very little practical use.
So don't bother buying this book.
