This book must have been very easy to put together. It reads as if one were to put together an assortment of Wikipedia biographies of political assassination victims, focusing on their deaths and accompanied by many public domain photographs. Although I agree with its author that the "official" accounts of the deaths of Jack Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King are mistaken, I was put off by her own selection of "facts" about the figures she covers, some of them just being plain wrong (Trotsky was a Menshevik), all of them being somewhat haphazard, as if she'd read a bit about each subject, but not much. Besides this, several egregious errors escaped proofreading--if any was done.

Still, I did read the thing in one sitting, some of the pictures being new to me and three of the cases being ones I'd known little about (Dollfuss, Mboya and Faisal). As regards the rest, the readings of her accounts did serve as a refresher.
