It took me two years, but I read this encyclopedia from A to Z. I don't know how many trips to the bathroom that is, but I have to say it was worth it. I only read a couple of pages at a time and some of the entries were less interesting than others, but overall it was a good read.
I learned about senators, pioneers, outlaws, founding members of the NAACP, universities, towns, businesses, explorers, discoverers, not to mention performers, musicians of every genre and, of course war heroes.
Not everyone's cup of tea. but I enjoyed learning about the pertinent people that made Tennessee the state it is today.
