A supplement for the 'Army Lists for the Forces of Evil: Ravaging Hordes', this book includes additional background for the Tomb Kings, as well as new units, magic items, detachments and unique characters for players to use.

The background section of the book is as good as always, with some nice brief overviews of the history and cities of Nehekhara/the Land of the Dead before moving onto the history of the game’s current narrative as Settra launches an invasion of the Border Princes. All of this is good lore, and includes both a map of the Land of the Dead and a campaign map for Settra’s invasion, which are both very nice. The artwork is as good as usual, with a few nice, newer pieces alongside the artwork from 'Warhammer Fantasy Battles' and 'Warmaster'.

The rules in the book seem quite good. The historical scenario seems quite good, with an interesting objective revolving around the body of the enemy general. The book includes two Army of Infamy, the elite Nehekharan Royal Host army, and the Mortuary Cult army of priests and constructs, both of which seem interesting as I like both elite armies and constructs. Settra, Nekaph and Prince Apophas return with rules in the book, and although Ramhotep the Visionary doesn’t technically have his own rules, the generic Arch Necrotect rules could fill in for him in Mortuary Cult armies. The other new units, introduced for the Armies of Infamy, are mainly just elite versions of existing Tomb Kings units, but I do like Infantry and Cavalry Cohorts as I have always been a fan of units than mix ranged and melee capabilities. The magic items in the book also seem nice.
