If you're looking for travel books, Fodor's is the choice. This complete guide is ridiculously resourceful! It doesn't only name places, it provides elaborate history for every monument and attraction, locations and how to get to them using metro, opening hours, tips to avoid standing in lines, maps, restaurants and their average prices and contact info, AND EVEN MORE!!!
In the Vatican museum section, it even explains main pieces of art and suggests routes and visiting plans. But most importantly, the book explained most of the painting on the ceiling of The Sistine Chapel.
The book is structured by the names of the districts of Rome. Every section has the main attractions, best places to eat and detailed info about the place and its history.
I'm definitely buying Fodor's the next time I'm gonna travel.

After reading a billion guidebooks for our trip to Italy, I really liked the depth of the Fodor's book.
