An absolutely fascinating book full of factoids and hidden gems about Northwest Colorado's geologic features. I love rocks, I love fossils, and Tom DeLancey's book made me want to go out onto a quest to find every single one of these sites listed and see what kind of cool things I could see there. Parts of his scientific explanations for how these landmarks were formed and what kinds of rock layers they are were far too complicated for me to follow, but DeLancey clearly knows his stuff and is excited about it, which made me excited to learn about it all too.
