'Hands-On Web Application with Javascript Frameworks and NoSQL', is the book which i was searching for a long time. I am a Java Web Application Developer. It is well known that client side scripting is much a popular tool that are using now a days. And for that i was searching for some good book on Javascript. And,then i found this book. This book covers highly advanced technologies like Angular.js, Neo4j.js, Backbone.js and also NoSql databases in an illustrative way. The most interesting thing is, the hands-on examples are given there with each of the topics which makes the content easily understandable to me. This book helped me a lot to have an idea on MVC Architecture of JS framework & NoSql databases like CouchDb,MongoDb. Thanks to the author for publishing such an useful book. This book will certainly help web-application developers to acquire knowledge for betterment in their career.

This is a book for anyone who is interested in their future. Piyas de has covered a lot of newly trending topics in javascript such as nodejs, d3.js, prototype.js, angular.js, javascript testing frameworks etc.. each topic is covered in detail with practical examples. Piyas de also covered the newly trending topics in NoSQL platform like Graph Databases like neo4j, MongoDB. No Bullshit clear cut examples are available in this book. Javascript and nosql technologies are going to replace the existing technologies, if you are interested in your future you will give a chance to this book.

As a veteran Dot Net Developer, I needed some experience in Javascript based server side applications. I had googled for Server Side Javascript based applications(node.js) and found lot of blogs on that. But when I have reviewed this ebook, I have found application ideas with server side javascript with node.js, Client side MVC with Angular.js and backbone.js,Some details about Angular.js Directives to make the html clean, interaction with nosql databases - mongodb and couchdb, ideas about making charts or graphs with d3.js and Highchart which finally will help me making some analytics and also ideas about making real-time applications with socket-io, cross-domain application configuration and some other features in this book.

Though not much detailing about the concepts are explained for those applications in the chapters, still I have got an overall idea about making Javascript based applications both in Server and Client side. This, somehow will help me in my work areas to start with these new application stack.

Currently I'm reading this book and loving this. I'm a Java programmer currently working in cross platform mobile app development. I've found this book helpful for understanding the server side implementation along with the cutting edge technologies such as Angular.js and NoSQL. It helps me to learn the practical approaches to use MV* architecture of JavaScript frameworks with Node.js and NoSQL. The subjects are carefully enlighten with proper language and elaborated with proper diagrams which help to learn the subject in more details.
