Ok, I know this book was written from the point of view of a fifteen year old girl, but I found her characterization annoying more than anything. I felt little to no sympathy for her character, and she didn't really seem that devastated by all the loss around her. It also seemed to really glorify smoking pot and drinking for under-aged kids. My son is fourteen and an avid reader, but I doubt that even he would like this book. Also, by the end I felt as if there were too many loose ends left unraveled. Perhaps if there were a sequel... no, I don't know that I would bother reading it. I was glad to have gotten this book for free on my kindle, otherwise it would have been a bit of a waste. I believe that the premise has a lot of potential if the author wanted to rework his story.

This book was about the tragic murder of a young girl's family.

The real tragedy here is that I will never get back the time spent reading this book. If I could, I would have given it less than one star. I give it one fourth of one star because I feel bad that the author took the time to write this book.

interesting book, you could form many opinons about the main character, my opinion was thats she was mentally unstable and thst her " friends" were actually her mind playing tricks. i did notice that the visions stopped when she was happy and secure and returned when that happiess was taken away. a good read

....what the hell was this?

It was either the biggest mind f*ck or the weirdest missing persons case ever.

The website mentioned is no longer active. Which is a shame because I would have liked to have seen how it was linked to this strange novel. I still can't figure out if Sarah was Sibyl and had a million voices in her head, or whether she saw dead people. I also think she was way too impressionable for her own good. Do kids really think trying crystal is a good idea? And my understanding is that crystal is super addictive and she wouldn't have been able to stop after trying it once. Also, she was way too laissez-faire about all those murders.

Compelling and intriguing story. I'm just really confused as to whether this is fiction or real. There were also some entries that made no sense and were contradictory. Such as when Sarah introduced Owen to her uncle. She said her aunt was at the gym, but then said Owen told her aunt he was taking her for breakfast. Also she referred to Uncle Harry as Uncle Henry at one point. This is either extremely poor writing or poor editing. It's a shame because the story line is really captivating.

This book was actually very annoying. I bought it because supposedly this diary was found at a crime scene. I believe this is a hoax and purely fiction, with the added facebook page and video to help sell this book to people. Obviously I fell for the ploy of "purchasing" it (it was a freebie on Amazon), but I didn't fall for the book.

It is told through the eyes of a 14-15 year old girl "writing" her diary. She was annoying, but that's how much young teenage girls are sadly.

I downloaded this because it was free and looked intriguing from the description. It's short and a quick read, but after finishing it I'm no clearer on what it was about than when I started. It seems to be trying to be a crime novel crossed with The Blair Witch Project and I don't think it succeeds. I didn't want to read about the people portrayed in the novel and didn't find Sarah sufficiently interesting to carry the story. An interesting experiment, but nothing more.

I read this book because it intriqued me and confused me at the same time. I think it was found at a unsolved crime scene but then I thought maybe it was really one of those books that is to make you think that but it really isn't true at all. If you just ignore that fact it was really an easy and enjoyable read.

I did not like this book! I have mixed feelings. This book is not real considering the author got an award in fictional writing. Plus there are no other books by this author. Also they have a website called, what happend to sarah but they won't give you her real name, or where she was from. Anyway it took me quite awhile to get through this book. I just did not like it!

There were some discrepancies which maybe a proofreader should have picked up on. Like the one where Owen meets the Uncle before she goes out to breakfeast with him and then later it says that her Uncle had never met him.

I liked it I couldn't put it down. But it made me wonder if it was fact or fiction.

This book was really creepy and confusing im not sure if its fiction or real. I enjoyed reading it and couldn't stop. Im still really scared, i wish there was a reason why it happened or im not sure if she was imaginating all those things in her head and she murdered all that people or if someone is really after her.

It seemed weird and very intriguing to be reading someone's diary. This book is a page turner and makes you want to figure out what the heck is going on. The most interesting part is that it continues on through a website that you can interact with.
A very creepy read.

This book was really strange, and it never reveals if it's fact or fiction. I even visited the website listed in the book, and that is creepy as well. Should definitely read this book, but just beware it will leave you thinking....

Strange book! I can identify with Sarah on many different levels written throughout the book, however, overall I thought the the whole thing was pretty sad. I'm categorizing this as fiction, although the author seems to have left that open to some interpretation.

This book was strange, it was short and a very quick read. I got it free on my Kindle. It reminds me of the movie "the Blair Witch Project". Left me wanting to know for sure it was fact or fiction.

This was a very weird, confusing, nonsense, yet interesting read. Written in plain English as diary of a teenage girl, I (even I) could easily follow and was kept interested in what was going on. But nothing is revealed even at the end, which was somewhat disappointing to me.

This book was beyond strange. I really think that Sarah has some serious mental issues. I would not read this book again, or recommend it and I am so glad that I didn't waste any money on this as it was free for my Kindle.

Bizarre?! I still am not sure what to think of this story. I amlike many others who aren't even sure if it is fiction or not. But it was quick and free on the Nook from Barnes and Noble.
