I'll start off by saying that I read several books a week. When a book grabs me from the beginning, I usually can't put it down until It's done. This book didn't do that. This author is very wordy. Although that's not necessarily a bad thing, I found it hard to get through the beginning. I would pick it up and put it down over and over. Then around 35% or so it grabbed me and I could not put it down until it was done. I really likes the developing feelings between Lexi and Riley. It took twists and turns that I never expected. I like it when a book can surprise me. It doesn't happen enough. I constantly looked at how long I had until the book ended, hoping for more time and not wanting there to be a lot of questions left unresolved. I honestly can't wait for the next book to come out. If you can get past the overly descriptive writing style, it's definitely a good read.
I really loved the book. Fell for Riley (sigh) story plot awesome , kept me up late into the early morning, ready for the second in the series, Can't wait !!!
It took me a bit to really get into this book. I'm glad I stuck with it! Mostly told from Riley's point of view. I loved the twist. I need to start the 2nd book now! But the 3rd book isn't out yet....ugh!
