*** Spoiler Alert*** Part 2 of Joyce's five-part story – ‘First Time at Forty’ Joyce, who is still a virgin at the age of forty, has not yet signed up with the RBC television company to take part in a reality show 'First Time at Forty' which is to feature her initiation into full womanhood. The idea was abhorrent to her, but then she met the man they had chosen to 'seduce' her, the charismatic Frenchman, Raoul du Lamond. Finding herself falling in love with him, she was dismayed when he had to return to France to attend to his vineyards. If she wants to see Raoul again, she will have to sign the TV contract without any guarantee that he will be her sexual partner. She doesn't know if she will ever see him again, and she certainly doesn't know what the TV company have in store for her once she has signed. The story continues with Part 3 – ‘Joyce’s Pleasure’ 17+ The sex scenes are an integral part of the love story and serve to enrich the Reader's romantic and sensual experience. In this, the second book in the series, the story begins to become quite contrived and borders on the ridiculous - and I'm not talking about Joyce being a virgin at forty. I just feel so much more could have been done with this interesting idea for a novel, but instead I found it disappointing in that so many contrived, unlikely and preposterous situations are added to the plot. I also found the very short books to be totally overpriced. There were also some editing errors and Raoul's habit of always calling Joyce "My Joyce" became extremely annoying. However as Joyce and Raoul have as yet to still "do the deed" I'll probably read the next in the series, albeit reluctantly.

While I enjoyed this book it leaving you shaking your head asking "really people???" They seem to be able to have unbelievable oral sec but something always seems to happen just before they actually have sex...Why??? I do believe that the author is more of a tease then Joyce. It seems like I will have to just read the next book also now...
