After ten years of searching for answers in the disappearance of her fianc, John, Cate finds herself moving on, but can she get past not knowing whatever happened to the love of her life? Having grown up without a father figure, Cate never understood how most relationships worked. Cynical and insecure, she did what any person would do, she built a wall around her heart. When she met John, or rather, ran into him at a haunted house, everything changed. And a year later, when he proposed marriage at that same haunted house, she couldn't help but say yes. But, life had other plans. One week before the wedding, John disappears and Cate is left scrambling to rebuild what is left of her world.

This book has the perfect amount of romance, drama, suspense and thrills all wrapped into one. The love between John and Cate is one that can't be touched and the tragedy between the two guts you. I've read this book more than once and each time I am excited and on the edge of my seat. Definitely recommend!
