Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.
Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.
Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.
Title: Cameron 5 Author: Jade Jones Published: Jones Publications Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: 5 Review:
"Cameron 5" by Jade Jones was the last novel in this mighty good series. I will say that Cameron and Jude were truly some interesting characters along with many other that will leave a lasting impression. This author really knows how to bring it all together and in the end give the reader a perfect ending for these characters. One thing for sure is when Jude and Cam came together things started happening in a more positive way for them. I found "Cameron 5" had a good storyline with all of the loose ends along with the drama all unfolding only to give the reader a well written story. Now, if you haven't read this author's 'Cameron 1, 2,3, & 4' you will need to because the author has done a wonderful job with this series. Would I recommend "Cameron 5?" YES!
I loved the Cameron series, and I am sad that it has come to an end. Jade Jones did a great job tying together loose ends in this book, and I love her well developed characters. I highly recommend this series!
Characters were scattered all over the place. I could say the it should have been the wrap for this whole series. To think that there is still book six, seven, and eight, I feel like I could tear my scalp out. The only way I am not quitting is because I don't like finishing what I have started. But I don't people who are not like me will even reach this book in a series. It's only people with attachment issues who will read it to this level.
So, if you have read the previous book(s), Jude is now the leader of the car theft ring in Atlanta after his boss, King, died. A lot of people within the Ring, who have been there before him are doubting him. They feel like he has cut the line. But Jude is prepared to prove them, and himself, that he can do this. He spends most of his time trying to do, consequently, neglecting his wife, Cameron, at home. Of course, with this kind of business, there will always be enemies or rivalries trying to take you out. Jude assigns one of his co-workers the duty of protecting his wife. This is where things get complicated.
Just like many of the previous books in the series, it is murder, sex, drugs, and criminality. At this point, all had gotten tedious. The "pop pop pop" that keep popping up now and then mid-scene are tried to keep me my eyes open, but it was like using sticks, trying to keep my eyelids open. It all proved futile.
Smart and once humble, Jude with money and power is nothing to play with. I like how the author is showing how people become monsters. It’s gradual for most based on circumstances. The more opportunity that Jude acquired increasingly exposed his need for control and God status. Cameron’s continual insecurity from book 1 enhanced her abandonment issues and weakness and it prevented her from growing with Jude. Instead of her meeting him where he is going she remained comfortable with who he used to be. She needed to step up her game. It isn’t always about her. She signed on to be with a gangsta businessman. That meant she needed to be his peace and do pop ups. All of this fake trust was really fear of truth.
This book keeps getting better and better. Money is the rule of evil.. Jude has truly lost his mind. I thought him and Cameron were gonna be this power couple, but this boom has proved me wrong. And to know that Jude killed Jags mom. But that sister is not dead she's gonna get her revenge. Great series Jade!!
I enjoy the book til you got to the middle of the book and had me confuse . Why did Jude had to be so ruthless , I had so much to put in the review now I can't remember. Why did had to kill Jag family who that was cold but so was king . On my way to read 6
I can't wait to start the next book. Essence should have kept her mouth closed. Wtf happened to Jag family?? I hope Jude gets it together and where did Marcus come from??
Jude and Cameron are a hot mess, all this back and forth and cheating. I will admit though, I can’t stop reading it LOL. Can’t wait to read books 6- 9.
none of the books in the series have been bad reads for me thus far, but the way i are this book up and it became one of my insta faves is crazy. tbh, i was never sold on jude and cameron’s relationships but this book did a good job at showing more into jude’s character and his turmoil relationship with cameron that i became way more invested than ive been before this book. the relationship, IMO, seemed way more relatable.
also was here for cameron + the body guard side story. definitely want her with jude at the end of the day but the body guard side story was really interesting.
This book started out with a bang. I knew from chapter 1, this would be a good one This was the first time I wanted Cam to be with somene other than Jude. He changed so much and became stranger to Cam. He reminded me of her ex from book one. He was domineering and disrespectful and instead of working on their problems together, he turned to another woman for comfort. New characters brought more drama, but in a good way. Jag and Joaquin were actually my favorite characters. They were sexy and deadly and had Cam and Jude's backs. Jag would have done anything for Cam. He fell in love with her and showed her what a normal life could be like with him. As Cam's bodyguard he had access to Cam and her son Justin and he looked forward to spending every moment with them because he wanted that family life too. Meanwhile Jude became a boss and lost his damn mind. He became inaccessible to Cam because he was forced to make huge decisions to keep his family safe. Cam tried really hard to keep her family together, even when she doubted Jude's fidelity, but she didn't want to repeat her past mistakes. Jude's business dealings almost cost him everything, and while he couldn't run his business, Cam stepped up to the plate like a boss. I din't know she had it in her. She handled her business and protected her family. This was my favorite of the series. Even after everything they both went through, Jude and Cam finally got their acts together and got their much needed HEA.
I will give a props to Jade Jones. This is my ninth book reading from her. She takes her time to writing this book. She is a good and wonderful writer. She did a good job. Her book is never disappointed me but her book always keep me awake and make me laugh. Cameron 5 is a good book. I enjoyed reading this book. I like the concept and vibe in this book. It is well-written and well characters.
Cameron, Jude, Jag, Jag's brother, King, Roxie, and Champion are the main characters of this book. Jude a good father and good man to Cameron and his son. He is provider and taking care of his family. He is independent and intelligent man. I will give a prop to him. I could related to Cameron because we are both a hardheaded, stubborn, independent and strong woman. She is a good woman to Jude. I don't understand Rumor's character. I like Jag in this book.
I wish I could continue read more about Cameron and the rest of characters in this book but it's sad.
If you haven't read this book, I recommend that you should get copy and start reading it because Cameron 5 is a good.
I choose the rating is 20 stars because both author and Cameron deserved the 20 stars from me. I am looking forward reading another book from this author.
Cameron is getting better and better with each book.... the only problem is the spelling, punctuation, and some words are left out. The story's plot, characters, and the betrayal are everything.
I would love to see the face of Cameron, because she's literally every man's weakness. I hope for the life of me that she doesn't cheat on her husband again. Cameron is down for Jude, except she needs to be less gullible, falling for every man that gives her any kind of time, or attention. If she doesn't get herself together, Essence is right think waiting for Jude.
Jude has everything that he needs at home, but he's slowly losing himself. I'm disappointed, because he was always so humble, but he's forgetting what's most important..his family. He started in the game, due to his family, and he's starting to become the very person he didn't want to be. He needs to step up his game, because there are plenty of men waiting to take his place.
Cameron and Jude have been through so much, I really hope that both can get their ish together, and stay married. Temptation will always be there, but with love, it should conquer it all.
Started our really enjoying it, the last book was good but frustrating and this one was more of the same. Cameron and Jude making the same mistakes and then acting as if nothing has happened. Who does that? Betrayal is betrayal who in their right mind just looks past it like it didn't happen and thinks it won't happen again. I know they say Kobe is blind but it's not that damn blind new come on. The book just got to the point where the relationship wasn't really believable anymore. To top it off Jude keeps Jag around and actually refers to him as a brother. I mean come on yeah right. Disappointed in how this series ended for all that it should have ended after the third book it would have been soooo much better. These last two books just didn't go well at all and this last one was so far from the others it was just sad.
Y’all know I’m a Jade Jones fan. I got a lot of her books from being in her group but she is one of the authors that I’d use my Amazon credit on anytime and I have.
I listened to the Cameron Series books 1-8 on Audible. I really enjoyed watching Cameron and Jude amongst other characters in the book grow from teenager to adults with kids of their own.
Like any other relationship they went through up’s and downs. Illegal business, strip clubs, murder, side chicks, backstabbing, jealous friends and more. If you’re a lover of urban fiction this is a ride you might want to take.
Well finally life is good for Jude, Cameron and 3 yr. old Justin. I was glad to see Jude got revenge on Aso for the kidnapping, rape and sodomy of his wife. I mean, Cameron was brutally assaulted by Aso because of jealousy of his cousin Jude's lifestyle. Into the picture comes Jag/Joaquin who is elevated to his right hand man, like lil' brothers to him. Now he was the BOSS since King was murdered. Love this series Jade Jones.
Cameron is back!!!! These books have to be my favorite series and I'm actually sad to see it end, but I love the ending. Cameron has been naive throughout the entire series. She's far from perfect, but she's human and I love who she's turned in to in this book. There are more characters that are introduced in this book that tie in with old characters. If you liked the first four then you are sure to enjoy this one.
Author Jones did her thing with this finale! Not only do she tie up loose ends but she added a few characters in to bring all the drama to the fold. Her writing growth showed through her well thought out storyline, plot and well developed characters. Cameron 5 came full circle. I recommend this series
So happy with how this series ended. In this book things were getting pretty sticky on the business side more than ever but with trust and love Jude and Cam made it through together. Still in shock that Jude killed Rumor but she had indeed become a threat to him, that was definitely shocking though. How Cameron and Jag got Champion was a good twist too.

This book was alright. There are a ton of typos. Either the author or who ever typed the book, got the characters mixed up a few times. The editing could definitely use improvement. The story line was good tho.
I read the whole series within a week or so. I really enjoyed it. I will say though that I will not be reading part 6. Both Cameron and Jude were really working my nerves and I just want to remember them as having a happily ever after.
Love this series!!! Well I've haven't just started it but I want to say it's been a year or 2 since I've finished part 4 and this one was very very good ...I felt cams pain well on to part 6! I recommend this book.
