In this fourth installment in the Charity Series, Charity is now 24 and very content with her life. Her 5 year old triplets keep her grounded, she is passionately in love with her husband, and her pack is thriving. But when her children begin asking questions about how her father died, painful memories resurface. In a heart-warming dream, her father convinces her that it is time to share those memories with her most trusted mate, Levi, in order to heal once and for all. But will reliving the stormiest time in her life finally give Charity the peace and closure she so desperately needs? Or will it open a door, ushering in a danger that none of them are prepared for?
DeAnna Kinney is what you could call an eclectic writer at its best. If she can dream it, she can write it. Her main focus is YA Paranormal but also writes New Adult and Adult Romance, Action Adventure, Children's books, and even an Apocalyptic Christian Thriller Romance. She considers herself as fun-loving and a bit peculiar. Besides writing, she loves reading, all things purple, Star Wars, acting like a goofball with all of her friends, and dancing while she cooks (she can see her kids rolling their eyes as we speak). She believes whole-heartedly that chocolates and a good book go hand in hand. And, having experienced it herself, believes utterly in the power of true love. She lives in the lovely North Carolina with her husband, four kids, and a dog named Link (aka Monster).
She is very hands-on with her fans and thrives on their interaction.
Her upcoming works include:
*Maybe something about Zombies, Bullying, and perhaps the end of the world, although not necessarily in that order.
In this 4th book in the Charity Series, Charity takes us back into her future to see what it was like when she was younger, before all the anger consumed her, tainting her outlook on everything and everyone around her, making her a bitter and sarcastic teen. Now, she is 24 and loving her life, but her past is always there, nagging and stealing some of her joy. She knows she must finally deal with these painful memories once and for all. And that's where the trouble begins. Will Levi be able to save her from what's coming this time? Or better yet, will she be able to save them all? I'm not sure how I feel about my girl, Charity growing up. It's a little sad, and yet I love seeing her as a loving mother. Everything you have come to associate with the Charity books is in this one: passion, romance, Levi, humor, kidnappings, Levi, explosions, heart connections, Levi, and lots and lots of lip balm...oh and did I mention, Levi???
A side note: the blue lightning bolt on the cover has a significant meaning, but you'll have to read it to find out, lol.
Another side note: who can make out the distorted image of a werewolf's face in the clouds by Charity's face??
Remember when DeAnna Kinney’s Charity series ended? The curtain went down, Charity’s story was over, but still fans wanted more! We wanted Closure. And what happens when an artist has the crowd chanting more, more, more??? In the case of DeAnna Kinney, fans got one last trip into Charity’s world with Charity’s Storm, and what a trip! Charity and Levi are the proud parents of their triplet boys who are wreaking havoc and being little boys. But Charity still has demons from her past to silence once and for all. She finally shares the entire story of the day she lost her father with Levi. Needing her own sense of closure, with Levi by her side, she visits one of her father’s murderers in prison. Could that one move have brought more danger into her young family’s lives? Will Charity find the closure she needs and learn to deal with everything that brought her to the happiest time of her life?
DeAnna Kinney did it! She brought closure to the Charity series and it feels right, feels complete and promises a bright future for Charity’s family. Ms. Kinney doesn’t need to write with a dark hand to create the tension and mood of each scene. Her writing style holds a great deal of emotion that one can feel between the characters she has brought to life. With internal dialogue from Charity and the dialogue between characters, there is a newfound contentment and joy. When I finished reading, I was smiling, especially after a few chuckle –worthy events that were pure Charity!
Charity fans have her triplets’ adventures to look forward to in the future! …and the final encore is over, the lights dim and its back to reality for a while.
I received an ARC edition from DeAnna Kinney in exchange for my honest review. Honestly, this is an amazing series for ALL ages!
Series: Charity, Book Four Publication Date; February 19, 2014 Publisher: Deanna Kinney Genre: Paranormal Romance/YA Number of Pages: 164 Available from: Amazon
I received this book free from the authors in exchange for an honest review. I love the Charity series and was ecstatic when DeAnna Kinney contacted me to see if I wanted to read and review Charity's Storm, the fourth instalment. I loved being included when Charity told Levi about what had happened to her father, despite the grim outcome. I'm glad we were finally able to find out what happened. I also like the varying POVs, especially little Deacon's. It is a little bittersweet that Charity and Levi have grown up, but at the same time i loved being on their journey. I heard that there will be a spin-off with the triplets all grown up. I have a feeling that they will be a sexy handful and I want to be on that journey as well. I would recommend this novel to werewolf lovers.
First I'd like to thank DeAnna Kinney for an ARC of this book. Now I'd like to say that I loved it!! Can't wait for more of the Drake triplets, they are so adorable.
This book was so good it made me laugh and cry I love that in your books every one believes in God it so much more fun when you don't think of them as bad all the time and I will be looking for the kids to grow up
After Raven's Rose ended I was so sad that my favorite series was over. But after DeAnna Kinney told me she was working on the fourth book I was happier than a happier than a camel on Wednesday, lol. This book was by far the best thing I have ever read! I love the amount of suspense in the book , and how the book incorporated the element of faith.
When I first started the book I was immediately in love. I have always loved Charity’s character and was thrilled to read more about her past and especially her new life with Levi (her gorgeous werewolf husband), Darrow (the oldest triplet), Deacon (the middle triplet), and Dixon(the youngest triplet) . The book did make me cry a little (I am very connected to these books).
I believe that this book show win an award or even be made into a movie. DeAnna Kinney is an amazing author and the way she writes make you feel like you are there.
Wow, this explains so much about what made Charity so strong and independent and I love how it took one person, the right person to break the wall around her heart. I still love how anti-technology Charity is and how she is with her mate Levi and her babies.. Well toddlers! It shows how great of parents Charity and Levi are with how strong her boys we're when Deacon was kidnapped and how strong he is and how he didn't give away their secret to the man that killed Charity's father. I was in tears when Grandmammy died! I loved her madness! The speech Charity give at the funeral made me cry harder and it was perfect and heartbreaking. I love that Raven, Rose and their daughter Rain came back to visit for the triplets fifth birthday and how Levi throws her over his shoulder to see Raven. My favourite of favourite part of this book is when Charity is bathing the boys and Levi rushes into the room knocking Charity into the bath and then is confused on why she's in the bath fully clothes, made me laugh my socks off.. Perfect ending to a perfect series, I love how strong Charity is but still needs the love and support of her family and friends.. Love DeAnna Kinney's work and would recommend this and all her other stories to everyone!!!

Imagine my surprise when i found out that there's a 4th book in charity series..and it was a very pleasant one indeed.N i couldn't ignore reading it..thanks DeAnna..!
The book is continued from the 3rd one where Charity and Levi are happy with their triplets...and we get to know about her past when she was angry, sad and hated everything and everyone. We get to know the reasons why and her relationship with her father. The past and how it effect her right now.
It was a short read compared to other books[at least that's what i felt..] and we get to see Charity grow overall as a person..and her love, compassion and belief in god ,which saves her and her family time and time again.
The lighting bolt u see in cover of books, has a very special meaning in books and it shows the love of charity and levi..and their bond.
We get to see other characters too for which i am happy and i want to know how will their characters grow in future too. That's one thing i am sure looking forward too!
Well now i can't wait to read the next book of the triplets..i am sure it will be as exciting and adventurous as this one is.
DeAnna...hats off again for such a beautiful read.
A lot of people complained about this series. Yeah, it wasn't perfect and had a lot of similarities to a certain teen vampire novel. Although, in reality it had nothing to do remotely to that teen vamp saga. And yes, this series and Charity herself, weren't perfect. For example, a lot of the time I thought that Charity was just spoiled and bratty. Then again, my heart softened at the thought of what she went through and the other million great qualities she has. Levi was also a ginormous (I think that's how you spell it) help to loving this story. At times it was really hard to read the story because of missing details and some unrealistic points, but it was minor. Compared to a lot of 4 star rated books out there, this 3 star actually hooked me. I've read the entire series and am wondering what to read while I wait for the triplet's stories to cone out! I give this book a five star! It made me laugh, cry, smirk, desprately want raspberry ice lip balm, and most of all fall in love! Read it...I dare you!
Charity's Storm can basically be broken up into to parts (even though it alternates between the two). In one part, Charity is reminiscing on her troubling past when her father was killed. In the other part, Charity is in her twenties and she is happy with Levi and her little boys; Until her troubling past catches up to her...
One thing that I really love about this series, and this book especially, is that the story is (successfully)fast paced. There were times where I only had five minutes to read and I still got really into the book. The book was really easy to follow even when read in spurts. I would definitely recommend the novel to anyone looking for a fresh story and writing style.
Charity's Storm is ANOTHER wonderful book in the Charity series! I loved being able to see how Charity was doing right now and go back and see what made her the way she was when we first met her. After reading this it made me want to go and re-read the entire Charity series just so I can experience it all again. DeAnna has yet to write a book that I don't like. I would and have read her stories multiple times. She is definitely an author to check out!!!
-I was given a copy of Charity's Storm for an honest review.-
I started this book when I noticed an email saying that it was now available to read and I couldn't put my kindle down until I finished. I really enjoyed this book. I loved being able to see into Charity's past and the surprise in the end of Charity Storm was wonderful! Although I am sad that the series has ended, I am glad that this book came out, it was a wonderful conclusion to the Charity Series, especially since I was craving more after the last book. It wrapped up the story brilliantly and I am excited to see what new adventures come into their lives as the triplets get older.
Charity Storm was a great ending to a great series. I’ve loved Charity and Levi since the beginning. They are such a cute couple and never fail to make me smile.
This story was an emotional one. Needing closure, Charity finally opens up and shares the story of losing her father with Levi. I really enjoyed getting a look into Charity’s past. She is such a strong and admirable person.
This book really wrapped up Charity and Levi’s story wonderfully. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with the triplets when they get older.
I want to cry because I know this is the last book of this series. How did it pass me by so fast? I honestly did not want to start this book immediatly because I knew it was the end... I tried to drag this book out as long as I could. I was happy to see what Charity was like before things happened. It is a book worth reading and it is best not to miss out on. Now we know how Raspberry Ice came to pass.... Nana Butterfly.. OMG!!! Was anyone else in Shock?
I received an ARC copy of this book from the author. Once I started reading it, I was trying to find time to read it. I enjoyed reading more about Levi and Charity and their family. I loved the lessons of faintly love and forgiveness woven into the story. A fun read, worth the time found to read it :)
It made me mad how short this book was. It made me sad because it's the last book in the series. Anyway I couldn't imagine having triplets , but they were so cute! I love this book series it was amazing. It made me smile how the characters fell in love. Levi and charity's I love their love story! I like how this book had humor in it to and friendship.
I loved reading this book. It's really nice to read about your character to finally settle down in their life and have three children. I enjoyed this book very much and I would love reading this book sometime again in the future! :D 5 STARS
I beta read this book. Let me say, it was amazing! Absolutely one of my favorites. I always look forward to seeing Charity. Well written and a beautiful story line. I would recommend this book.
