With unexpected guests, twists and turns; the ending to this game of love will leave you speechless.

The book was okay. It was a very fast read for me. Would I read it again? Maybe. Would I recommend this book to others? Yes. It entertained me and kept me wanting to know more.
5 star's I gave I liked the happy ending of love for Ja'Heim and Patience. I loved the lesson of karma will always find you. Of course I didn't like Sade or how the mother robbed them from not having a life with their dad. And the lack of support from their mother
The storyline was good, but again with the editing! Why does this continue to happen? There were many unanswered questions, when it came to Pumpkin and how willing she was to do dirt? But what was her allegiance to Shade other than knowing her mother? Greed and revenge proved to be the downfall of several characters. When you know the rules upfront, how can you want revenge? With Shade being the one who cheated and broke the trust of Patience, why was she hell bent to do her dirty? I'm glad Patience and her brother both got away from their mother and had an opportunity to reunite with their father if only for a brief time! But Blaze was a beautiful spirit, trying to love Patience past her pain and heartache, proving everyone that comes into your life doesn't come to harm; some come to restore! There's much drama in this title, and it was an enjoyable read, but please can we do better editing and proofreading?

This was a great follow up to the first book. There were some crazy women in this book. I loved Blaze and Patience though. They made a great couple. Shade and Pumpkin were to much. This was a well written book and I would like to read more from Shatika Turner. I would recommend this book.
I read the first installment on a snow day from work, and became hooked. So, I Dr decided to read the sequel. The novel was realistic and had some twists. It's a good read.
