Okay... can I just say I love it over & over again? Perhaps not but that's the truth.
Just when I thought I had a fouvorite book by this author (Soul-Mates Forever) she ups the stakes and steals my heart all over again.
This book was very easy to get through despite the fact that it grips you and don't let go until you turn the final page. The character's are great. There's Jade with her fiery personality and of course we also have Knox--a very hot, swoon worthy, I want him NOW kind of man. (Sorry Jade but I couldn't help myself when it came down to wanting to steal him)
In this book we also observe how far the author has come when it comes to her writing as everything in this book is spellbinding. From the storyline to last word of this story.

I was given an advanced copy by the author Vicki Green in exchange for my honest and open thoughts on this latest book.
I have previously enjoyed this authors books, always being late in my reviewing but she's stuck with me knowing that I would get around to reviewing it!
I was able to read this one almost as soon as she gave it to me. I have to say, Vicki Green is one of my top favourite authors since reading and reviewing. I always look forward to her 'next' one.
This book is WOW! It certainly has the WOWIE factor for me. Its fast moving, its intense, the storyline is so gripping. My friend and reading buddy Philomena rang me today and asked me if I was reading, as she knew I was hanging on every word of this book. I said, I hadn't even dressed this morning yet as I wanted to finish it.
For me, it has everything in it, everything I personally love in a book, I love how it gripped me from the start. For me, that's a PLUS. But was is even more of a plus factor for me is that it KEPT me gripped, my attention didn't waver.
Both characters had their problems, things they had to overcome and deal with, I felt each stab of pain they each went through.
I felt the tenderness and love from each of them when helping each other through the nightmares. I was LIVING it! It took hold of me and didn't let me go.
I cried for her, then I cried for him.
THEN I cried at the bloody end! The ending was so tender, so sweet.
Vicki Green ITS A WRAP!!!! I absolutely applaud your latest book. Bring it on, I can't wait for another.

Jade is by far my favorite female character in a book, in a long time. She is funny, quirky, takes no crap from anyone but also has a soft side to her. She has a dark past that makes her who she is. There were scenes in the book that had me cracking up because of her!!
Knox. Darn, his name is sexy! He gives a whole new meaning to the word alpha!! He is super sexy. He is rich and successful and kind of a stalker in a really hot and exotic way! He also has a dark past that makes him who he is. I would love a Know for myself!!
This story really took a toll on me. Not just my brain but also my heart! The ups and downs that they face not only alone but together is just beyond words to me. Even though Jade is a tough cookie, she gives Knox a chance. That was probably one of the most bittersweet moments in the book! You know how they say “Fate has a funny way of bringing things back full circle?”, well it is definitely true in this case!! I absolutely loved this book! From begininng to end and everything in between!! I am a HUGE Vicki Green fan and have read everyone of her books but this one...... it completely blows me away!! Vicki has such an amazing talent that she continues to up her game EVERYTIME she writes! It is beyond me how she finds her stories but i will let it be known that she is downright phenomenal! I will read her books without even knowing what its about. I thought her last book was amazing, but this one is at the very top of my list now!! Way to go on this amazing book Vicki! You have completely left another notch in my heart with this one!!!

I love Vicki Greens books. I've read them all and loved them all. This one is another fantastic read by this author.
Jade finds herself working as a stripper after pulling herself out of the gutter when her life fell apart when she was younger. She's a strong independent girl who has struggled to get where she is today. However she won't let anyone come close to her heart.
Then Knox enters her life. Something pulls him towards her. The attraction he feels for her is strange as he's never loved before.
Now before you think this is a boy meets girl kinda story and all on their life is rosy think again. I loved the storyline of this book. The author throws us a few twists that has us gasping.
Another truly fantastic read from Vicki. A gripping read that had me reading this in one sitting.

Jade Morley, disc jockey by day, and stripper by night, doesn't do love. She doesn't get attached, and that's how she likes it. She can't let anyone get near her for fear they would find out about her past. A past that she still has trouble moving on from.
Knox Dunway has a life that is successful and a personal life without attachments. That's how he's preferred it, until now. He wants more, but is unsure if he'll ever find someone who wants him and not comes with him. He has walls built to protect himself from the past and the present, and he's not sure they can ever be broken by a woman - even though he now wants them to be.
Knox and Jade meet one another at a chance encounter at the strip club where she works, and are instantly attracted to one another. They both feel things that they have never felt before, yet they seem familiar at the same time. Knox instantly decides he wants Angel (the stripper name she gives him when they meet), and gives it everything he has in getting her. His alpha male comes out, and the wooing of Angel begins. And let me tell you... that fine man knows how to woo a woman! I'm surprised that town has any flowers left after Knox gets done! Jade/Angel is very hesitant about letting him get close to her, but with a little encouragement from her best friend, and neighbor, Amber, Jade decides to give Know a shot and goes out with him. And after that one date.... Knox claims her as HIS and lets her know it. Jade isn't sure what to think about that declaration... but he can sure claim me! Did I mention he works out... a LOT?
Something happens to his Angel that has him taking care of her and pulls them closer together. After a few misunderstandings the two finally decide they want to be together as an official couple. The one thing I loved about these characters is the fact that even though they have secrets and a past that they are still haunted by, they still are open with each other about it and work together to deal with these problems. I don't mind angst in books, because that's just how real life can be. But, there are couples that talk to each other and face problems head on, as well.
Jade and Knox are two very strong characters, but the vulnerability Green brings out in them totally has you attached them. The sparks between these two are HAWT, and the author writes some scenes between the two that kept me on edge causing me to read this book in one sitting! IT.WAS.THAT.GOOD.
I don't want to tell you everything and spoil the book for you, but I can tell you that Touched is a book you must read. It has the right balance between sex and plot. The characters are strong and interesting. It has enough twists to keep you drawn in without over-doing it. They only bad thing that I could say about this book is that I wish it was longer! I want to know more about Knox and his Angel!

For me, Touched started off pretty good, then kind of dragged on in the middle and then ended well. Once Jade and Knox connected it just seemed to jump to “I love you and never want to be without you” way to fast. We learned about each of their pasts but I thought we could have learned a little more, especially why Knox was followed by the papparzi and had body guards, I mean he owned a graphic design company, he wasn’t a movie star, I never understood that in the book. The book just seemed to go on and on for me when it could have all been wrapped up sooner without all the “I love you and never want to be without you’s” that happened every other page.
Characters: Jade and Knox had chemistry but I just couldn’t connect with either of them.

Wow. I could not put this down. It was an amazing read.
It moved along at an amazing pace, has characters that grab you and an entertaining story that will keep you interested throughout.

This book was awesome. Knox was always pushing Jade to face her problems and would not let her run away from him. Jade also helped Knox through some troubling times as well. They both had a dark past and struggled to move forward.

This was my first book by Vicki Green and it certainly won’t be my last! She sure knows how to create a dreamy and swoon-worthy male lead character, let me tell you! Knox Dunway was yu-mmy! In addition, the story line kept me entertained from beginning to end, wondering what might happen next. A LOT happened throughout this book, but to keep it spoiler-free, I will discuss it generally and won’t go into any of the details.
I agree. Jade was a very strong heroine. She had been through SO much since a very young age and yet she kept her head held high and did what she needed to do to live her life. She was currently working as a stripper, but not just any stripper. She had her rules, and her clients either followed them or went nowhere near her. Jade was also very independent and I loved that about her. She was down to earth and a genuinely nice person. So basically, right from the get-go, I rooted for her to get a happily ever after. I felt like she truly deserved it.
This is where Knox comes in. Mr. Yummy Pants was a very rich business owner, and of course, with money, came the drama. Like Jade, Knox had his share of troubles. On top of this, he was still emotionally haunted by his past.
For the first time, Knox wanted more with a woman. He yearned it. He needed it. So, he made it happened. He pursued Jade until she realized how amazing he was. Which happened really quickly, but to be honest, if a man like Knox pursued ME? HA! I probably would’ve fallen in love even quicker. *giggles* So honestly, their fast-paced relationship was not a turn-off for me. Knox was THAT dreamy and their connection was really THAT deep. Essentially, fate was on their side. You’ll see what I mean once you read this book.
Suffice it to say, Jade no longer continued her job at the club. Knox treated her like a princess. He truly cherished her and had no limits when it came down to protecting her. She was his #1 priority in life. His alpha side had me fanning myself more than once… Like I said, he was yu-mmy!!
All in all, this was a great read. It had passionate and HOT scenes, drama, a beautiful romance, and an interesting plot. Vicki Green even threw in quite a few twists and turns along the way that kept me wondering what might unfold next. So really, if you are ever looking for a book to read during the weekend, this would be perfect!

This story sucks you in right from the beginning and doesn't let up. Once I started it, I found it hard to put down. Jade is a stripper who has her own room at a private club, but she has strict rules. NO SEX! ONLY TOUCHING! NO BEATING OR ABUSE! While she is not crazy about her job, it helps to pay the bills along with her other job as a DJ. She doesn't believe she deserves anything better in life and is content for things to stay the way they are. She has no clue her world is about to get turned upside down.
Knox is a very successful man and he didn't get there by not going after what he wants. And currently, what he wants is Jade. From the first time he sees her at the gym, she is all he can think about. He feels a connection to her that he doesn't understand. When he finds out she works as a stripper, he lets her know that she will only be stripping for him from now on. He doesn't expect her to resist him and their chemistry.
When Knox rescues Jade from an abusive customer, he brings her back to his place to heal. Jade doesn't know what to expect from him as she has never had anyone stand up for her and take care of her before. Soon, they can’t deny that they are meant to be together and decide to move forward in their relationship. However, someone from Jade’s past doesn't want her to be happy and will stop at nothing to make sure in the end she dies.
Will Knox be able to save her yet again? Will Jade have time to tell him what she discovers about their mutual past before it is to late? In order to get those answers, you MUST get this book. It is truly a great read and I could not put it down. Jade has so much heartache in her life, that you just want her to finally get a HEA. Knox, OMG, he is so strong, loving and will not give up on them. You honestly couldn't ask for a better man.

I will give a warning though, if you have trouble reading anything about child abuse or rape, this will be a tough read. However, it is worth it. I think the writer did a great job in telling the story and I loved how both Knox and Jade were able to come to terms with their past. Jade Morley has had a tragic past that has left her unemotional and unattached.
She's a DJ and a stripper. She uses Angel as her stripper name, but becomes
someone's angel when she meets Knox Dunway.
Knox Dunway is rich and successful. Women surround him. He uses them for what
he wants and then is done with them. He is tired of the women and is ready for
something more. He will get his chance to have more when he meets his Angel.
Jade is stubborn and has a hard time adjusting to having someone take care of
her and loving her. When she realizes her past is now her present she gives into
fate.
I give this book 4 stars
You've got to like Jade. She works hard with long hours as a stripper then as a
radio DJ. She's strong and stubborn, which always makes for a good read.
Who can resist a hot millionaire like Knox? No one! You've got to enjoy a good
read with a good sexy man. He's your typical sexy, dominating yet caring male
lead. I enjoyed reading about his first date with Jade and how he was trying so
hard, but he ended up offending her. I felt bad for him, but I totally get why
Jade got offended. I just had to keep reading to see what happened next. I had
to know their story.
The only thing that made me knock this book down a few stars is that it was the
same love story where there are tragic pasts, rich guy, and a few more things
that are in every other romance book right now. Then again, it's what's popular
and we all enjoy reading it!
I'm ready to hop into the next book in the series! I can't wait!

Great book, with a fantastic story line.
Touched is the first in the Touched series written by Vicki Green. I was given a gifted copy of this book to review for Magic Within the Pages.
Jade Morley is a stripper by night, not your normal stripper but one who shows her body but does not give her body to anyone - she is also a DJ by day. She is different, tough but also damaged and she pretty much has no emotional ties to anyone until one night Knox Dunway came into her life. Knox has money (lots of it), he is a CEO of a graphic design company and he takes what he wants. He totally has no feeling, love and definitely no commitment to any woman he dates.
Both of these characters have their flaws and they also have major issues and problems including what they have to overcome to be together. After a small time Jade gives Knox a chance and they fall very quickly into a sweet, loving relationship. It was lovely to watch the relationship between the two of them unfold and how she lets Knox into her heart and Knox lets Jade into his.
There were a couple of small things, I could never really figure out why Knox had so much paparazzi around him because he wasn't a star .. so I couldn't really see the point of it. My other issue was just how quickly they fell into love and also how many times the terms of endearments were used.
Overall this book was a good read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am going to give this book 4 stars and would recommend it to readers of contemporary romance. Great job Ms Green, I would read another of your books any time.

She was shunned by her parents by an unfortunate issue at young age and was forced to make her own way and this was the easiest way to make her living. Beautiful woman with a body and a face of an Angel as Knox puts it.
Knox a very wealthy business man with his own company. He has had too many women in his past since he is so wealthy they throw themselves at him. He is tired of it and wants more. A women to settle down with and a family. One night he walks into the strip club and one face changes him. His Angel! He knows what he wants and he wants her no matter what. Touched is about Jade and Knox who have troubled pasts and do not do relationships.
Jade is a strong, independent and stubborn woman. Her life has turned into a life with no love, no emotion and no soul. She has no family contact or no friends until she moves into her apartment building and meets Amber who turns into her friend and is like a sister to her.
She has nightmares of when she was four years old of playing in a sandbox with a boy and not being able to say goodbye to her only friend and the only boy she loved.
Knox worked hard to become a successful Graphic Designer and Businessman. His wealth attracts many gold diggers who throw themselves at him. He is one who doesn't do commitment, has no love(except for his sister) and he uses women for what he wants when he wants. He hasn't found any woman who wants him for him. They just want him because of his money.
He sees Jade while passing the gym she belongs to and feels a connection to her. He decides to find out as much information about her as possible and then makes a plan to meet her.
You have to read this book to understand and feel the emotions these characters go through. I really like Jade and Knox as a couple because they both are fiesty and it makes their relationship fun and unpredictable.
I recommend you read Touched and I can't wait to read the next book in series Forgiven. Awesome read!

I am not much of a sweet romance book reader and at times find they can be too corny and I like my books to have an edge to them. Touched is the perfect combination of both kinds of books...an emotionally and physically abused young woman who finds her HEA in an unexpected way.
Knox comes across as a creepy stalker in the beginning of the book and Jade is the object of his obsession...a radio DJ and stripper by night...and cautious untouchable girl to everyone. When Knox sets his sights on her, he will go to any lengths to have her, but NOT in a scary stalker way but more like a knight in shining armour! Both of them are keeping things from each other and as they work their way into a relationship, the masks start to slip and after much turmoil and some pretty violent occurrences, the truth slowly comes out as they are falling in love. Jade's past comes back to hit her smack in the face with more turmoil and Knox's love/hate relationship with the press all come into play.
Vicki Green is very passionate about her couples and their romance and she writes alpha male characters who know how to love and respect a woman...as well as make her feel like a sex goddess. I really enjoyed this one and wish all men were rich, built like a Greek god and knew how to make love for hours like Knox =)

WOW! Touched was such an emotional roller coaster and so intense. There was so much drama, every turn of each page led to so much more and once I started this book there was no way I was putting it down. This book is phenomenal. I cried, I laughed and I got angry while reading Touched. Jade & Knox have both been through so much in their lives and have trouble with relationships. They've both have pasts neither are proud of however, they want so much more out of life, they've worked too hard to let anything stand in their way. Find true love is hard enough with out drama but finding your first love and fighting for it is even harder. I loved the characters in Touched, as a reader I couldn't help but fall for them especially Knox who comes off as a bad ass womanizer who really wears his heart on his sleeve but once he knows what he wants he doesnt give up, he makes sure he gets it at all cost. Touched is prolly one of my faves so far for the 2014 year, I really can't wait to see what Vicki has in store for us next!

Jade has hit rock bottom and she's ready to get over it. She finds herself working a pole in order to make the cash she needs to put herself back on her feet. Not only that but she's also working a day job. Her life is her rules or it doesn't happen. This causes Jade to shut her heart and emotions off to those around her just so she can get through the day.
Knox gets what he wants when he wants. He has women throwing themselves at his feet because of his money. Knox too has turned his heart and emotions off. He doesn't want to get attached to anyone.
All that changes the instant he walks into Jade's club and sees her dancing.

This is the first book I have had the honor of reading by Vicki Green and let me tell you it was wonderful. I try not to write reviews with spoilers so here we go. This story is about a loving couple Jade and Knox. I love Jade even though she has had a rough life and dealt a horrible hand she is still a strong and loving young lady. I feel in love with her character and how she overcame things in her life that she never thought she could. Then there is KNOX!! OMG Knox is so dreamy, sweet and very sexy. I love how once he laid eyes on Jade that he knew she was it for him. I love how this story has a back story where they knew each other as children and neither one knew it and how they reconnected after years. This story has just the right amount of love and drama. Such a beautiful story. I am looking forward to getting started on the next book. If you haven't read this make sure you get on it ASAP!!!!

There was a lot put in there; Knox was abused, Jade has been raped, disowned by her family and abused (among other things). They find solace in peace with each other. Everything just happens so quickly in this book that there isn’t any solid development of story characters.
Knox is a creep. When he initially notices Jade he conducts an investigation about her, follows her around. He calls the radio station where she works and says on air that he wants her (she doesn’t even know who he is!!)- stalker alert!!! He bribes her friend so that he can get into her apartment to place flowers. What kind of friend does that??? She doesn’t even know who he is, other than that he is a top graphic designer. She has spent years without a man in her life because of all she has gone through and within a few days she’s already madly in love…OH PLEASE!!!

Vicki writes with passion, and love. She seems to be an expert at both of those things. The story is a love story. It starts off as kinds of stalkerish, but it turns into the best thing that could of ever happened to the both of them.
Yes, there are hot security guards. Yes, there are hot, and steamy sex scenes. And of course what book wouldn’t be complete with a little suspense. This book has it all. You can’t turn the pages fast enough with this one. Get this book now!!!!

I have previously only read on other of this authors books. I was almost able to read all of this book as soon as she gave it to me, except for when the kids and I had to do cleaning during Spring Break.
This book is fast moving, intense, and has a great plot. I love how it gripped me from the start and kept my attention.
Obviously both characters had their problems, things they had to overcome and deal with.
And really helped each other to overcome their problems.
This book had just the right amount of romance and steamy sex scenes in it. I enjoyed reading this book and give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I can't wait to read more from Vicki Green.

Touched is about Jade who happens to be a stripper/dj and Knox whose this sexy, rich, alpha male who I guess is kind of a stalker now that I think about it. Now granted I wasn't sure if I would like this story because sometimes I get tired of reading about these ultra rich guys that have to have what they want and the troubled girls they fall for. But one I started reading Touched it really couldn't stop. This book took me to a very emotional place and I didn't think I could continue reading it but like I said once I started, I couldn't stop.

This book WoWed me from the very beginning!! I wouldn't have thought, what with my love starting with My Savior Forever & on, but really, you keep getting better & better & this one has totally blown me away!! So amazing!! You do so well with each of the characters!! I have a LOT in common with Jade & I'm just so WoWed with this book.. Yay for You!! Honestly, your best book (yet!!) I'm going to have a hangover with this one.. Lol!
