Great Story
I admire Mr. Ulstermans willingness to tell a story that mirrors the reality of the world we live in today. He pulls no punches in the possibilities of what happens when Americans give up their freedoms. Thank you for this amazing story.

Where is this world going?
It seems to me that the early parts of this collection show what is happening today. As it continues it becomes fictional and displays a world I hope never to see. It is riveting and ends with what the world needs to go back to very soon.

Great at the beginning, but...
Mac Walker is a great hero and the first couple of stories were great. The third and fourth stories, well let’s just say the complete genealogy of every character got long winded and it got very boring, with many pages between any action or adventure. I also didn’t think that jumping 20-30 years ahead in our heroes life was prudent storytelling. The authors political take on our future, however is right on the money.

Should be avoided
Started out as a pretty good adventure read but rapidly degenerated into an alt-right propaganda slog with a thinly veiled and never named Hillary representation and falling back on the waaaaaay right boogie man of the UN is trying to take over the world. Trite and unimaginative and best avoided.

Fabulous!
When I bought these book's I didn't think I would read through the first book. I am pleased to report that I could not put them down! I highly recommend them. Thank you for a great read! Kudos to the author! Mac is one tough soldier! He doesn't know the word quit, even when the odds are stacked against him with whole armies out to kill him. We need more like him!

the first 3 stories were hard stuff.
by the time i finished the last one of this series, it was emotional for me.
Mac is for sure one of the best character written and driven ones I have read.
I am not much on writing what i really think about books I read. This one though, I read the whole thing 1-6 straight through.
It kept my attention.

Excellent series of books.
From the beginning of the series through to the final conclusion the author builds the characters and brings them to life in such a way that you feel as the reader that you are part of the storyline and are willing them to succeed in their quest for freedom from tyranny.

A great page turning novel about an heroic navy seal that covers his life changes in the fictional political changes that occur during the next 5 decades after the war in Vietnam . The action and plots seem to be relate to to some of things happening around the world in this century.

Just think about this story line
Like a movie called "Red Dawn" this too could happen to the world.
Very very scary thought..
If it ever does, I hope there is some one like Mac, to guide some of us n keep us safe, and defeat the opressors.

Engrossing
It kept my attention from beginning to end. Speaking of the end you did it very well kind of got me a bit sad but, happy for Mac for at the same time. Thank you I really enjoyed the collection.

I have to say probably one of the best series of books I’ve read. I did not have much hope when I began this series but what an ending. Brought tears to my eyes.

D.W Walker has done it again. I read the whole series which was great. I appreciate D.W. Walkers writing Style and his ability to tell a great story with relatable characters.

Capturing!
Not my usual read and though I didnt get sucked in after the first chapter I grew to adore the characters. I found myself laughing out loud at Macs witty responses and reactions. I wiped tears along with Dublin. I kept to the edge of my seat as the bombs dropped. And now that its over I find myself telling others they have to meet Mac and his weary but determined band of heros. What a great week Ive had! Thank you D.W. Ulsterman for taking me around the world in the pursuit of freedom.

Imprisoned by a book
I could not put it down. I am enthralled by this author, he is so good.
The clothes did not get folded, onions planted or kids tended as I followed Mac and his cohorts to Libya and watched their trials. I lost my innocence and trust in public officials. I cried as people died who should not have. Riveting, moving, and real this is a series to read and then read again just to compare it to what is happening in our streets today. Take this recommendation seriously and then learn from it.

Scary
This could be happening. If you are a Liberal Koolaide drinker you might like the beginning and hate the ending. The author did suffer from an over abundance of verbosity, taking three pages to say what could be said in one sentence. Good story and I recommend it even if you have to skip pages of fluff to find the meat. The episodes with the consulate were a tad over the top.
Find a new proof reader this one can't, or won't read.

This is our world-should be required reading
There is so much truth in this series. I've never been one to believe everything heard or seen, let alone the "propaganda" and "false information" fed us by the media, politicians, etc. I learned at a very early age, "read between the lines to find the truth ". I only had difficulty reading the last book in the series because it was giving me strange dreams, because of the medical tests actually being performed in today's day.

Take time to read the entire series. This book makes you think. It makes you question things that are happening in our country today. A lot of things are not as far off as you might think.

Well written collection
The storyline is all to believable in the world we live with the potential future challenges. I truly appreciate the ending of Mac Walker being welcomed into God's loving arms.
