True Ghosts: Theories and Experiences

Rate this book
What are ghosts? The experiences and musings of a former ghost-hunter. Over many hundreds of visits to haunted locations, he tries to come to some conclusion about what he's seen and experienced. Open minded but not credulous - a thoughtful and intelligent read.

The author shared his experiences with ghosts and the paranormal in a noncommittal way. He shared experiences he had as a ghost hunter and ghost tour guide, as well as experiences that were shared with him. It was all very interesting, but the grammatical errors were distracting to me. He attempted to discuss the relevant and truth behind the paranormal experiences he had had or those that were shared with him. This book needed a better editor to find and correct all of the grammatical and syntax errors in the writing. These errors were distracting to me as a reader.

This is a short book that attempts to answer the title question along with others, such as What are ghost hunters? what are psychics? what kind of haunts are there? what's the history of ghost hunting? and many others. Given this is one man's opinion, it's not what you'd call a scholarly work. What it is, is more of a rambling essay giving today's prevalent view, which you'll find on almost any ghost hunting tv show. Nothing new here, nor even very interesting.
