Short book filled with excellent information for the casual observer of an American classic - bison, commonly called buffalo. From safety tips for watching herds, history and courtship rituals to seasonal behavior I was amazed at how much I learned.

Read this book aloud to my girlfriend as we drove home from a nights stay in the Badlands. It was a treat to discover more info about buffalo as we had watched one Wallow that morning not too far from our campsite!
