Arvind Kejriwal is the man of the hour but who exactly is Arvind Kejriwal? What was he doing before he suddenly burst upon the scene and captured the hearts of the aam aadmi?
‘Into that Heaven of Freedom’ is the story of Arvind Kejriwal before the Lokpal movement of 2011, before he formed the Aam Aadmi Party. This fascinating story, extracted from the best-selling book ‘I Have a Dream’ gives you a glimpse into how an IIT engineer became an activist and changemaker. As Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Arvind first waged a secret war against corruption within his own department. This led to the formation of ‘Parivartan’, a citizens’ movement which fought many battles for the common man in Delhi using RTI (Right to Information Act).
This ebook contains a new foreword by the author and previously unpublished portions of the original interview, where Arvind presents a powerful case for Swaraj or ‘true democracy’. A must read for all those who want to know and understand the way Arvind Kejriwal’s mind works.

I seriously think this kind of books are just for making profit by using someone else's name. Since Arvind Kejriwal himself is against promoting personalities hence this book is against his ideals.
It's better if a person read the book "Swaraj" by Arvind himself.
this book repeatedly talks about only one thing he entirely did during his pre-political life.
filling RTI and resolving issues are very well much needed, but only that and asking people to not bribe will it develop this country.
Are these only his ideals and goals???
He gave excuses of not having funds.. Is it too difficult to get funds for achieving your goals. People took 1 Re contribution from lakhs of people for imparting eduction to under privileged kids and everybody contributed too.
some of the reasons does not seem logical to me. Not even worth reading a once.
An attempt to do what most of us think is right, but difficult to achieve! Yes, this man is fearlessly and selflessly facing those difficulties #respect
It is a wonderful narrative of leaving idealism and getting into action. When we start we may not have big image of outcome. It is really to have feel for the fellow human beings. That is what Arvind Kejriwal did and it should be a motivation for us.
The foundation of India was in the village governance. In 1840 British Governor Lord Macaulay told that this system needs to be demolished in order to win this country. So in 1860 he brought the collector system. So all the powers people enjoyed is now in collector hands. Even after independence this system prevailed from DM to PM levels. Swaraj is only the real democracy. This book will let you know the mindset with which Arvind Kejriwal is moving further.
The rise of Arvind Kejriwal has taken India bu storm and changed the scene of Indian politics. He has tried to bring in clean politics and transparency into the indian political system. This book provides a small insight into the way his life changed and the way he grew as a person and an activist. The concept of swaraj though not new is brought a different light.
