Plenty of pumpkin spice recipes for your heart's desire! A few of the recipes piqued my interest but the rest of them weren't for me (food allergy and preference).

I was looking for a great fall cookbook when I picked this one up! What can get any better than pumpkin pie spices and aromas filling the air come autumn? This cookbook is interesting in that it presents recipes and spice blends that are both sweet and savory. There is definitely a wonderful variety of recipes presented in this collection along with at least three different kinds of pumpkin spice blends. You will want to eat some of the recipes just by looking at the pretty photos of them! For me, the best dessert is pumpkin pie and I was looking forward to a fabulous recipe to make from this cookbook. I am very sad to say that there wasn't a pumpkin pie recipe to be found in the Pumpkin Pie Spice Cookbook. This was a very disappointing end for me.

5 out of 5!

If you are a hard core pumpkin pie spice fan as I am, then this is absolutely the cookbook for you. I adore when fall hits and I worship pumpkin all through winter as well, so this collective recipe book was a treasure to review.

The cookbook begins with a breakdown of all the spices that make pumpkin pie spice (note .. there is also a breakdown of how other cultures breakdown this spice as well). From there, it jumps right into recipes. Everything from beverages, appetizers, main courses and desserts there weren't too many recipes that I wouldn't try.

Some of my fave recipes were ... Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte, Spicy Pie Smoothie, Spiced Nuts, Sweet Potato Fritters, Spicy Apple Cheesecake, Morning Spice Muffins, Autumn Chili etc ....

If you have one can of pumpkin puree, I would recommend you use it up by trying a few of these recipes at once!

HAPPY COOKING! :)
