What a great ending to an adventurous ride we've been on. This book was a bitter-sweet read for me because I'm sad the series has come to an end. However, I definitely enjoyed this installment and recommend this series to anyone who loves their romance with a touch of the paranormal!

This book picks up exactly where the last one leaves off. Cami and Drake are up against all odds trying to reach that ever elusive happy ending. But with a world of Centaurs after them, a Centaur Council who may not listen, Cami's evil Grandmother as Chairman of the Centaur universe, and a death warrant issued by Zeus himself, can Cami and Drake ever truly have their happy ending. The forces working against them may prove to be too much in this final chapter of the Touched Series.

Ugh, I don’t really want to review this book. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it, but my expectations were dashed in this one. It was underwhelming in the end. I was a bit disappointed that the brother didn’t play a more important role. He was found/rescued with not as much resistance as I had hoped.

The ending wasn’t as climatic as I had hoped. Cami’s brother was swayed too easily in my opinion. I don’t know if I was angry that the book was ending and taking it out on the characters but it just seemed too be too easily accomplished. Where’s the great ending battle? This book tied up all the loose ends; but it all seemed too fast to me. It didn’t have the depth that I had come to expect from this author and I think that stilted my feelings for this book.

Cami’s stubbornness and refusal to see reason was kind of abrasive in this book and not endearing to me. Drake is noble and perfect as always. I did like the character change for Zandra (the Grandmother). She proved that a villian can change and that was a great highlight for me.

I am thinking about re-reading the last few chapters honestly because I think I got a little lost in the end.

I had learned so much about our kind. I liked the idea that when this life is over, we all meet again in the pastures. There are so many things I want Mom to know. More than anything I want her to know I found happiness right here on earth-true happiness.
***

There is one thing I have come to realize when reading this series…not one ounce of these books is predicable. Nothing. As you are reading along twists and turns jump out at you that you never saw coming. And besides Cami and Drake's relationship, that is what I love most about each of the books. I love not knowing what is about to happen. Because even when I try to guess, I am completely blown away by what Straight does next. This lady has serious talent when it comes to anticipation and suspense.

***
If all these blessings I had been given were suddenly taken away, I could go to the pasture knowing without a doubt that my life had been full. I would know that I would be missed, that my Centaur family truly loved me. In return, I was prepared to go to the end of the earth to save each one of them.
***

All those questions you’ve had from the start of the series finally get answered. CENTAUR REDEMPTION was packed full of answers and incredible imagination. If I had to choose a favorite out of all four, I might possibly say this one. I felt so many emotions throughout this series, but this one topped them all. It was such an amazing book to read and experience.
The Greek Gods will play a major role in this final installment to the series. Sacrifices will be made that will rip your heart into tiny, inconsolable pieces. As I was finishing the last pages of the book I had tears pouring from my eyes. They were a mixture of sad tears and happy ones. It truly was a magnificent ending for such a magnificent read. My heart will forever love this series and the emotions it has brought forth. I look forward to reuniting with them when ever Straight decides to revisit them. (Yes, she mentions at the end we haven’t seen the last of everyone!)

***
“I owe you my life, because without you, I wouldn’t want mine. I owe you my love for eternity, because before I met you, I wasn’t convinced love existed.”
***

If you are a fan of Shelly Crane's SIGNIFICANCE series, I really think you will enjoy this one. Maybe it is the writing or familiarity of the characters that reminds me of those books. Either way, I think you will fall for this series like I have. It is a must read that will have you flying through all the books just to find out Cami and Drake's fate. 5 Absolutely Must Read Stars!

I absolutely love the Touched series by Nancy Straight. Centaur Redemption is the fourth book in the series and it comes close to being my favorite book of them all. (Just being slightly edged out by the first book because that was the start of all this awesome-ness.) The Touched series is still the only young adult or new adult book that I have found centering on centaurs. I love the unique-ness of the story, as well as all of the mythology woven in. In Centaur Redemption we even get to see some of the big gods come out and "play".

I think Centaur Redemption and the Touched series as a whole is excellent. There are so many reasons why you should read these books, but here are a few of them.

First, Cami is kick ass. From the very first book, when she was plopped down into the strange world of centaurs and age old traditions, she had no problem causing a scene. Cami is not a girl that is going to do what someone told her to do, just because they told her to do it. I love that about her. She will question everything until she is blue in the face, and then if she still doesn't agree with something, she will take a stand. A lot of that comes to play in this installment. There are action, plotting and fighting galore, so you will get to see plenty of Cami kicking butt and taking names.

Second, I just love how Nancy has portrayed their society. There are 5 male centaurs for each centauride. And the centaurides, the women, are the ones with the real power here. Not only are they the ones that get the cool magical abilities like mind reading, seeing the future, moving objects, etc., but they are the true heads of the family. The men are still powerful and they are warriors and fighters, but the women are revered above all else. How many books have that in them?

Third, the mythology is so interesting. I love how the centaur history is interwoven with the gods. I eat this stuff up! It was really cool to see all the bits and pieces we were learning about the Lost Heard and Zeus come to light in this book. It is all so well written and thought out.

Fourth, the title of this one really says it all. I loved the redemption in the story line. I'm not saying which characters, but your opinion of certain people will change. And while I was a bit skepticle at first, I ended up really really loving what Nancy Straight did with her characters in Centaur Redemption. The ending is nicely wrapped up and left off at a good place. There will be at least one more book in the series though, which makes me very happy. I am not ready to say goodbye to Camille and Drake. Not by a long shot.

I love this series to pieces!!! What do you mean this is the end? Sigh, I do hope we get to see more of this world.

What I love the most about this series is it is more than just the romance of Cami and Drake. There are so many other levels and layers that unfold. We get to see relationships develop between at least four other couples. Their stories are just as special as the leads.

The narrative is beautiful mixed and blended throughout the series. Sure it is first person, something I generally cringe over. We are privy to so many POV in the narrative, it adds to the story telling making it even more engaging. They are also clearly marked, each new narrative is labeled with whose voice we are hearing.

The romance is lovely, but not overly steamy. Now that they are married Drake and Cami are able to get steamy. Don't get too excited it is still pretty much closed bedroom door. We just get to peep in the keyhole for a hot second. Nothing too detailed or racy. Quite a clean romance, if you ask me.

Everything comes together in this book. There are some points that were obvious and others I found unexpected. I am not believing the changes in the evil granny, but that is just me. Some characters are not redeemable, for me she is one of those characters. Other than that bit I was enthralled in the story. The way all the pieces finally connect to reveal the glorious final picture.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Teri Schnaubelt, who has be a delight through the whole series. She has a brisk pace that lends energy to the read and flows with the movement of the story. She keeps all the voices distinct and consistent, a real task in such a full narrative. I am eager to find more of her work, she gives very happy ears!

I hear there may be more books in the series but not with Cami and Drake in the lead, they have been tortured enough. I would love to hear more about the other couples and the family. Perhaps give Cameron a HEA?

Disclosure - I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thought, opinions and ratings are my own.

I was lucky enough to be a Beta reader for this entire series and I am sad to see it end. However, I think that this book was, by far, the best in the series.

Cami, Drake and their entire group leave Cancun for the trip to the Centaur Council Meeting. At the resort where they are staying, Cameron puts in an appearance and Cami finally comes face to face with her twin. It is a bittersweet reunion because she is the only one happy to see him and he is merely disgusted by her. Once at the council meeting, Zandra makes good on her promise to come between Cami and Drake again. This is where all of the action starts.

This book is definitely more involved than the others but you also get all of your questions and more answered. There is no stone left unturned in this last book and there were several twists that I never saw coming. Reliving some of the best moments from Cami and Drake's time together brought tears to my eyes because I was terrified of what was to come. However, I was very pleased with the ending.

Nancy Straight has definitely written a great ending to this sires and I thoroughly enjoyed reading every word of it. Her characters have been brought to life by her wonderful imagination and her vivid words. I am so sad to see this series end but so thrilled at the prospect that she is getting ready to start a new project.

I started the Touched Series one night when I needed inspiration. I needed to get out of my writer's block so I went through 5 books in the course of 24 hours. (I'm a fast reader.) Book 1, Blood Debt, happened to be a freebie I picked up and I have to tell you...Nancy Straight had me hooked from page one.

Camille is an amazing character that I can relate to. You get thrust into this world of amazing magic, gods and goddesses, and smoking hot centaurs. There are rules and guidelines and danger along the way, characters you want to smack and characters you want to hug....and you want to know what happens next. You HAVE to know what happens next.

In fact, book 1 was so great that I begged and pleaded with Nancy to give me the next 2 for free. I can admit that. I was a poor girl. You've seen the gif from Bridesmaids, yes? "Help me. I'm poor." I can admit that's exactly what I did-and Nancy, being the totally awesome person she is, fulfilled my request. Needless to say, I had the worst book hangover in history after reading all 3 books in 2 days and then I had to wait...what?! Wait?! Yes, I waited for this book for many months. I was so in love with this series, that I saved money just to get this ebook. I'm not one to pay more than $1.99 for an ebook--but this book is SO worth it. This series is SO worth it!

There are not many series out there that capture me like this one did. There are so few books with characters that I feel I have known my entire life. Cami, Drake, Daniel (I love him. He's my book boyfriend), Will, Gretchen, all the B's, Gage, Bianca, Zethus, and so on and so forth....They are like people I've known since forever. Those are the kinds of books I like. The books that when I start a new one in the series, I can immediately reminisce about what's happened in the first books. Their memories are my memories. I laugh with them. I cry with them. And dang it, Nancy, you made me bawl like a baby this time.

I thank you for this incredible series and I thank you for letting me read it. Don't ever stop what you're doing, okay? You've got a true gift and to anyone who reads this review....please get Blood Debt. Please get every book in this series so you can fall in love with centaurs as I have. I doubt anyone will live up to the brand of hoovy-deliciousness I've come to know on the pages of these books. If there was ever a series made into a movie? This. Just this.

Book 4 is the best by far. You get so much action and adventure and IN YOUR FACE awesomeness that you won't know what to do with yourself. Cami and Drake are facing off with Zandra, yet again, and they hope to convince the centaurs to accept the Lost Herd back into their community. Things need to change, and no one is more capable of that than Cami. You're going to meet some old friends and be introduced to new ones as you slip back into the world of Chiron's children, and I dare you to try and find a place to stop for a break.

I'll end my long review now, but you get 5 stars for not only giving me another beautiful adventure, but for giving me characters I will never, ever forget. Thank you, Nancy.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

While there was a lot of build-up for this book, this book made totally up for it. I really enjoyed this book and it was a great ending for this series, although at the end of the book it said there will be more books and I would love to read more about Cami and Drake and what will happen next to them. This book was filled with action and had some sad and also some happy moments. I really like this author her writing style.

The beginning was a bit slow, but the pace picked up soon. The story took some surprising directions and I enjoyed seeing a bit more of the gods in this book. Some things are cleared up and some truths come to light finally. There where a few scenes with a bit too much drama to my liking, but overall I really enjoyed the book and it even nearly made me cry towards the end, the ending was really well done.

The characters where great in this book as well, although after the beginning we didn't see anymore from bianca and gag, it felt a bit like they where forgotten after that. And there was a scene at the beginning with them that felt a bit unnessecary. There where some different point of views, but the focus was mostly on Cami and to be honest I felt like the other point of views distracted a bit from the main plot in this book. I liked getting to know Cameron a bit better and there was a fun scene involving him and his gaurdian towards the end of the book.

The romance between Cami and Drake was done well in this book. I really felt their connection in this bok although I am still a bit sad for Daniel.

There is some world building in this book as well, but mostly clarifications and some things about the gods.

To conclude: I really liked this book and it wrapped up things nicely. After a bit of a slow start the pace really picked up, with the ending being the strongest part of the book. I really liked the characters in this book as well and if the author decides to write more books in this series I can't wait to read them!

The title is perfect because REDEMPTION is exactly what book 4 of Nancy’s Straight’s Touched Series is all about.

We pick up the story where book 3 left off. Cami and Drake’s honeymoon has come to an end, the Council Enforcers have delivered their message and it is time for the herds to converge in South Africa for the Council meeting that will determine the fate of the Lost Herd.

So many things get wrapped up with this final book. Oh, how I want to tell you some of the things that surprised me but I’m not going to ruin it for you. Let’s just say that at the end I couldn’t believe that I actually started to like and feel sympathy for one of the characters that I have disliked from book 1.

More secrets are revealed, gods and goddesses realize that even they can make mistakes, families are reunited, and a loved one is lost to the pasture.

I know Cami and Drake are settling into their new life and this is supposed to be the final book but I hope that we get to visit with all the centaurs again.

Summary: A great ending for the Touched series. You can download Book 1, Blood Debt for FREE. I’ve enjoyed every book in this unique series.

I read Centaur Rivalry and Centaur Redemption in one night, and I can't tell where one ends and the other begins anymore. So this review is for both of them.

I loved the series, the books just got better and better!

"Power is just power. True strength is in the wisdom of our actions."

Camille really grows and matures in the last two books. She's now a smart and strong character, capable of defying Zeus for the good of her family and her people. No more doubts nor hesitation. She doesn't make stupid and rushed decisions as other female characters I've read before.

If you haven't finished the series this may SPOIL you!

I'm happy everything worked out in the end. This would've been perfect if not for

All in all it was a GREAT series, loved the characters, the story and the mythology! (I've never read a book that mentioned Chiron and I wanted to for a long time! It was an amazing surprise!)

Brilliant!!! Cami and Drake have been through Hell and back, their family and friends have been there to cover their backs from the start and facing the council is no exception! It is now or never for the Tak herd!! Will Zandra back down? Will Cami and Cameron come together?? Facing the greatest challenge yet and even more on top than you could even imagine or think of! A brilliant twisted book that tops off the series so far!!!

You promise that this is not the end of the series and I hope you are able to keep that promise as it would be the ultimate shame as there is so much more to share in the Centaur way of life!

I've read every book that Nancy has published in The Destiny Series and The Blood Debt series. They are all my favorites. I purchased this book for my Kindle two days ago and I've already finished it. The characters are amazing, the plot line for the series is awesome and you can't beat the twists that Nancy throws our way. Now I have to go through the tough part; regretting I finished it so quickly while enjoying the time that I got to spend in Cami and Drake's world. According to the Author's Notes, we may get lucky and see them again. I can honestly say, however, that I am anxiously awaiting Nancy's next endeavor. Thank you Nancy for sharing your wonderful worlds with us!!

Love this story, it tied up a lot of loose ends from the other books but still left you wanting more. I love the relationship between Cami and Drake. They have gone through so much but they are both strong individuals who will give their lives for the other. It was nice to see all of the family dynamics around Cami. You really begin to see what type of person she is and what are her true abilities and powers.

It was really hard to read some parts due to the dislike of some of the characters and situations that happened. What I really enjoyed was the inter action between Zandra, Drake, Cami and the gods. It really added a lot to the story line. I hated to see it end, I just wanted to know more about the other characters.

In the after words of the book, Ms. Straight says more stories about Drake and Cami will be out but they are overdue so I am really hoping that she is working on more stories about them. I want to learn more about Cami’s family and extended family.

I read the first book in this series, Blood Debt, and was hooked. Camille lived her whole life believing she was human. She found out differently after her mom died. She finally meets her dad and his family, and this starts her on the road to becoming more than she ever knew she could be. She has to fight for the right to be with the one she loves, fight for her family, and fight to stay alive. She is strong, smart, loving, compassionate, and forgiving. This book was a wonderful ending to her search to right the wrongs of the past, even when she has to take on Zeus himself. I loved Camille. She was truly a heroine, and gained the love and respect from everyone she met.

OMG!

What a whirlwind of an adventure this WHOLE series has been.

There has been ups & downs, laughter & cries, love & war but most of all there has been pain and death....so much unwanted and unnecessary death in the Centaur realm.

I MUST give a HUGE thank you to Nancy for kindly providing me copies of ALL the Touched Series to read and review, this has been a journey that I am sure NOT to forget anytime soon.

I'm sad the series has come to an end....but all beautiful things must come to an end unfortunately...

The love and admiration between Drake & Cami seem to get stronger and stronger, now no bounds can break them apart as husband and wife, as Centaur and his Centauride.

Cami has come along way since we first met her in Blood Debt , she's grown into a young beautiful Centuaride who will stop at nothing to protect those who she loves...

"I had stumbled into love with a man who would sacrifice anything for me, who would risk everything he held dear for true love, and who believed the sun really did rise and set on my shoulders. Beyond the joy of Drake in my life, other loves presented themselves that I had never anticipated, either: the love of a stepmother who had more than enough room in her heart to make space for me without conditions, the endless hours of laughter my brothers inserted into my life, and the knowledge that I had a father who never abandoned me."

The war of the Tak bloodline has being going on for too long, now is the time to take a stand against the God's, now is the time to bring the forbidden bloodline back into the herd......

I love the saying, "Blood is thicker than water", as no matter what has happened (or not) between Cami and her twin Cameron, they have come through the other end against all odds...

"I saw Cameron clapping more loudly than anybody. All the talk of evil twins, curses, blood debts: when I looked at him, none of that was my reality anymore. I had a twin brother who had been through as much of a wringer as I had, yet he didn't begrudge my selection as Chairman. He was happy for me. Cameron could easily have arrived tonight with a chip on his shoulder or a desire to see me fail ~ he didn't."

There is no stone left unturned in this and there were several twists that I never saw coming. Reliving some of the best moments from Cami and Drake's time together brought tears to my eyes because I was terrified of what was to come and Straight never seizes to amaze me with the outcome.

Her characters have been brought to life by her wonderful imagination and her vivid words.

The ending....as much of a great ending this was, the loss at the end was hard hitting, I literally balled my eyes out....after so much pain and torture throughout the series, and one of the most loved characters you did that? Seriously?

I will be honest and at first I felt, that it may have been better with an epilogue at the end, making this story feel more complete, but Nancy has admitted that this isn't the last we see of these amazing character....were just not privy to information on when..... :/

It truly was a magnificent ending for such a magnificent read.

I received Centaur Redemption in return for an honest review as part of the tour hosted by Wordsmith Publicity. (I’m going to try very hard not to give anything away that will spoil the series.) Cami isn't human but it wasn’t till after her mother passed away that she found her birth father and learned about her heritage as a centaur. Since learning that she has a family she doesn’t know exists Cami has been kidnapped, fallen in love, learned she has a brother and risked her life to save her family just to mention a few. Cami has stepped into a whole new world that takes her on adventures that change her life in ways she could never imagine.

Cami has been on the run since she’s fled her grandmother’s home with the help of her friends as well as her new brothers she has stayed safe. She’s even had time to fall in love with a centaur who becomes a true warrior in order to save her. Cami rushes to the council in hopes of saving her family who are the lost tribe but her grandmother along with her brother are determined to stop her, but an unlikely visitor shows up changing everything even her grandmother plans. When the truth comes out with is change the future of the lost tribe?

I love Cami and Drake they are by far my favorite couple add in the fact that they are centaur’s just makes their story even better. Through Cami and Drakes story we have gotten to know her family as well as her brothers some of them have even found love which is rare for so many to marry centaur females in one family. We also have gotten to know her best friend from her human life before she found out the truth Daniel. I like the way the author has woven other characters’ lives within Cami’s story I can’t help falling in love with them as well.

I’ve been waiting since the last book to get my hands on Centaur Redemption because I’ve been dying to see what happens next for my favorite Centaur and family. I found the whole concept for the centaurs unique and exciting it’s one of those stories that capture’s the imagination as well as the heart. I finished the book in a few short hours knowing I couldn’t stop till I saw how it would end. I feel the author has done a brilliant job writing another installment in the Touched series, her writing flows smoothly. I can see why people can lose all track of time reading her books. I honestly loved the story it kept me on the edge of my seat mixing adventure and pulling at my heart strings. I finished the book in tears some happy some sad but it works and I don’t cry very often that’s how vested in the characters I am. I was so happy to read that this won’t be the last book because I know I’ll miss them when it’s the end. If you haven’t read the Touched series I would highly recommend it. When people ask me for a paranormal suggestion it’s my first choice because I love everything about it. I can’t wait for the next chapter in Cami’s story, I know I’ll be impatiently waiting. Did I mention this is one of my favorite series, and I love it!!!

Well, this book is awesome! Can I just say that one more time… AWESOME! It’s supposed to be the end of the series, but there’s a little surprise. The author says she may just give us more, one day, which I am TOTALLY ALL IN for that :) BUT before I can say I want more books, I gotta tell you about this one. And one more thing, before I start my review, Ms, Nancy, you know I love you right?! But seriously, at the end, I think I almost wanted to punch you, hard. LOL You stole my breath away, made me cry, made me hug my dogs, and then made me smile so big I couldn’t help myself. So I want you know that though I about lost my mind with the “incident” at the end, it’s ok, and I still love you LOL! :)
So, Cami and Drake are going to go confront the council, if they can live through the traveling. There’s like ambushes everywhere, and there’s even more reveals about things I wanted to know. Some things are opening up. And let me just say… HOT DAMN, way to make a major plot twist surprise with the bad guys! My mouth almost unhinged! Cami has become a wonderful woman, and though she worries me with how much she needs Drake, I have no doubt in my mind she is going to be the powerful being she is destined to be. And dude, she has HAWT piece for a hubby :) I missed seeing more of Bianca and Gage, I loved Cami’s stepmom. She has the coolest brothers, and though Drake has his own issues, he finds family in the least expected place.
The characters, all of them, in this series have become my friends. I feel for each of them. They are all important. And there’s nothing better than feeling that way toward a fictional character, not because I’m a nut case ;) but because the writing of the story was so damn good. And it’s not just the original characters, you’ll learn more about some of the bad guys, Cami’s brother Cameron, her brothers, and so much more. She is learning to trust some, and avoid others. Cami is having to learn how to become the Centauride she is meant to be, and more. She really is fantastic. And so is Drake, and everyone else. It’s a little sad to see it wrapped up, and I am thankful that the author will revisit them one day, but it’s really perfectly done. I couldn’t have guessed some of those surprises, and I definitely wouldn’t have seen old gramma doing what she did. And the Gods and Goddesses. I mean, wow! This one will have you on a thrill ride. What more can you ask for? I am pretty sure I expressed every emotion possible while reading this book, and it’s definitely going to go in my ALL TIME FAVORITE stacks. This one, well the whole series, is a keeper! Well done. It’s a phenomenal masterpiece! 6 PAWS… I could give it no less!

This was to put it simply one of the most perfect endings to an amazing series I’ve ever read. There was a little bit of everything in this book and then a little more. Nancy Straight is a brilliant writer who should definitely not be overlooked. She can bring you into a world and make you want to live in it; I can literally see the different scenes as clear as day and you will not be disappointed in any way other than that it has come to an end.

We are all gathered together at the counsel as Cami and her family is going to take their final stand against them but one thing leads to another and while winning the trust of the counsel certain events transpire. These events cause Drake to leave her side and protect another, it’s always bad when Cami and Drake are separated, but it’s for a reason. There are things that happened in the past that need to be reviewed and corrected and there is only one way of doing that, confronting the gods themselves.

There are a lot of small betrothals/love stories throughout the book, a new one comes to light and old ones are still revisited which is always good because there has to be some side stories to look at as well. There is a great deal more mythology in this book (which I love); there is definitely action and a wrath of the gods, much more love and some moping. I don’t want to give too much away because really you should experience it for the first time yourself but this series, this book, this author is all well worth the time. This definitely was not a book you could predict because when you thought one thing was going to happen something completely different did.

Overall I love this series, I love these characters and I will miss their presence in my reading world. This is a must read for anyone of any genre because you will fall in love with a new idea, Centaurs. I’m not too fond of this cover only because if that’s supposed to be Drake that’s definitely not how I pictured him but throughout the other covers have been consistent and beautifully done. I can’t praise this book enough, but it’s hard not giving bits and pieces away because you just want to keep talking about it more in detail. Go read the book, stop by and let’s chat.

One final note - not a dry eye in the house, perfect ending!

1-There is another book still to come. (Dang, I hate waiting)
2-If you like mythology, traveling around the world, family, betrayal, good vs. evil, redemption, you will enjoy this book
3-This one does have sex in it, unlike the other books before it. It is a married couple but just letting you know
4- If you haven’t read the other books in the series, don’t read anymore because there are spoilers for those books here.

I really enjoyed watching Cami come into her own self. She is strong, selfless, and has a heart of gold. Drake and Cami make a real couple. They know they can’t always be together and don’t have any drama when they can’t be together. Now, there is one point where there is drama when they aren’t together but it is definitely warranted.

This book has a lot of mythology and something new is constantly popping up so you have to keep focused or you will lose what is going on. Lots of action, betrayal, family shifts, and there is a loss in this book (no I am not going to tell you who, but it is sad and ok, I did shed a couple of tears over it)

The purpose in this book was to go to the Council and have them see reason. Cami figured things out that the gods hadn’t figured out. I wasn’t sure they would find any allies at the meeting, but was pleasantly surprised what I did see.

Zandra kind of surprised me in this one. I wasn’t sure I believed anything she said. Still not sure about her. Zandra is Cami and Cameron’s grandmother. She is ruthless and calculating. Cameron is stupid and naïve. I felt bad for him. I just thought he got shafted growing up. Cameron was separated from his twin, Cami, at birth. There was a reason for it, but it still is sad. And Angelo, he is pure evil!

The end of the book satisfied most of my questions. But dang if there wasn’t something thrown at the end that I did not see coming. I should have but didn’t. Like I said before, you have to stay focused because something new or menacing is always around the corner.

A home run!
1st let me say, I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible.com. OMG it was so worth it! Audiobooks offer proper pronunciations, accents, excitement and hands free to do other things, like driving chores and so on.... The excitement & accents in this book were fantastic! I felt like I was watching the book in movie form. The descriptions were that good! The accents, OMG, Scottish, Irish, Southern - people from all over all done expertly by one person!
This is book 4 of the Touched Series. Cami & Drake face the council and Cami becomes the head of the council. The story was just fantastic. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole book. The ending was written & read so well it made me cry. Bring tissues! Cami & Drake are so much in love & it seems like life in general is always against them.
This entire series of four books in this TOUCHED SERIES is based on Mythology. What a fantastic era! I love hearing about the herds, Centaurs, Centaurides, the Gods and so on. There is so much magic in this time period, it makes one wonder if it still isn't happening now. How would we know? If I could have 1 wish, I would wish to see this series turned into movies. It is so good, it would rank right up there with Lord of the Rings series & Star Wars!
The combination in this entire series between the author, Nancy Straight & the narrator, Teri Schnaubelt is so magical, it's like a love story. They make a perfect combination. The way Teri reads this story sounds like she lived it, she knows, really knows! Nancy has written these books so well, it will blow your mind. Well it blew my mind anyways. Kudos to both of these ladies!

Centaur Redemption is the fourth and final book in the Touched series. I read the other three a while ago, but finally got my butt into gear and bought this one to finish off the series. Within the first few pages, I was completely back in the story, with Cami, Drake, Daniel, Beau, and the rest of the Lost Herd. The action is non-stop, with Cami once again showing that even though others may doubt her (almost as much as she doubts herself), she does actually know what she is doing. Cami is not infallible though, and does have a breakdown in one part of the book which I completely understood. However, she pulls herself up and carries on, doing it in spectacular style! Cami shows that there is strength in forgiveness, and in moving forwards with the greater good in mind. Not everything has to be angst-ridden!

There is a lot that happens in this book as it draws towards the climax. And you're not safe from crying either! I was trying to do my nails and thought I could read at the same time. Unfortunately for me, it was during an extremely emotional part of the book (for me, at least), and I ended up with ruined nails, a sopping tissue, and red eyes after I'd finished blubbing. Absolutely worth every moment though!

As with the others, this is extremely well-written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow. I am hoping for more from Cami and Drake, but am also content with how their story has ended so far. Absolutely and definitely recommended by me.

Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks?
Centaur Redemption is the fourth book in the touched series by Nancy Straight. I'm sad to see this series come to an end, but the whole story gets perfectly wrapped up. No loose ends. No unanswered questions. Lots of twists! The Greek gods play a big role within this story, plus we're introduced to the higher ups of Centaur society. This series offers many supporting characters. Sometimes it's easy to get lost in the details when you have several characters to keep track of. That wasn't the case with this series. Each character was significant. Each character had a purpose within the plot. There was so much going on within Centaur Redemption. It was a fast read simply because I couldn't put it down. At times, I was really worried about Drake or Cam or other characters. I may have even shed a tear or two at one point. I love this world that Nancy created. I could get lost in it, and I'd never want to be found. This is an amazing series!

Centaur Redemption by Nancy Straight was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

Initially, I was very disappointed to find out that I would have to wait an extra 30 days to be able to purchase this book but it was definitely worth the wait! All four books in the series are exceptionally written and I would be ecstatic to see this series continue.

As with the previous three, the suspense in Centaur Redemption just keeps you turning those pages late into the night. The best part for me is that it never got dull or boring and the ending was never predictable. I am still amazed at the fact that although there are so many different characters in this story they all are very well defined with noticeably unique personalities. They all play strong roles throughout the book in one way or another and even the mean ones are somehow likeable.

Nancy Straight's talent is undeniable and I honestly think that these books deserve a lot more recognition than they have received so far.
