This is a well written mafia romance with a cast of strong characters centering on Luca and Ruby. The author does a great job developing the story and pulled me in with the intrigue, action, hot chemistry and growing love. She moves the story fluidly with her descriptive scenes and delivers a terrific story.

A wonderful story with outstanding characters which is a great page turner. A spicy steamy romance with a happily ever after ending.
A young historian and a mafia prince finds love at first sight. During this story they find out about the politician’s son and what more besides blackmailing that he was doing and how many others he was doing it to. That the politician was lying to keep the mafia don, the mafia prince’s brother under his thumb. The historian and the mafia prince falling more in love with each other, they text each other alot. While at a dinner with the mafia prince’s family she meets back up with a schoolmate that she thinks hates her but they talk and then she talks to his family about it as well. The couple make out and also he gives her oral sex.
The historian’s father finds out about the couple and has her go to the house with him, her parents and her sister have her go without seeing the mafia prince for a week but they still text all the time. After the two mafia brothers found out about what the politician’s son was going they had to put him six feet under. The mafia brother’s mother throws a party with the mafia family as well as the historian’s family plus some friends of the mafia family. The couple gets a room and they have sex. Soon after the mafia prince asks the historian to marry him and she says yes.
A week later he sparred with the man who helped him with the politician’s son. While sparring he texts with the historian and after the two men talk for a bit. The historian shows up and the couple talk, she tells him that she’s pregnant.
Nine months later the couple is married and they have a daughter that they name after her sister. The sister holds the baby but worries that she will hurt her. The historian’s parents are there also. They talk before the sister gives her niece a kiss on her head.
Ten years later the mafia prince and the oldest daughter are doing a dig in the backyard. The historian is holding their youngest son. Their other two children are splashing in the pool. The oldest finds a coin in the hole she made, her father the mafia prince put it there a year ago for her to find. The couple hug with their youngest son still on the historian’s side.
The couple are brimming with love for their family and for one another.

In Texting Mr. Mafia, mafia Don Elio found Scarlet, the love of his life, when she approached him for help. In this book, it’s his younger brother Luca who finds himself in the same situation. History nerd Ruby is being blackmailed by a fellow student and after coming across Luca in a gym, she asks for his help. Both are instantly smitten, and their relationship grows over text. That fledgling relationship is threatened on multiple fronts, however, as hidden connections come to light. How does Luca know Ruby’s father? Why does it seem like Elio is protecting Ruby’s blackmailer? What secret past do Ruby and Scarlet share?
I flew through this book, trying to uncover the answers to all those questions and was pleasantly surprised that I was unable to guess some. I was also surprised by the handling of the virgin heroine trope. Luca was so understanding of her anxiety and willing to wait until she was comfortable and ready. They did not immediately jump into a sexual relationship, which is fairly uncommon with both the virgin trope and the instalove/insta-everything trope. That’s not to say there wasn’t some serious steam and dirty-talking delights, however. The epilogues were sweet and fitting for their love story.

Part of the Marino Mafia series each can be read as a standalone so make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Ruby is a sweetheart in college just trying to get through when she was drugged, naked photos were taken while passed out just to be blackmailed by a politicians son forcing her to do all his college work proceeding to make her life a living hell and so she reaches out to the amazing man in the gym by chance passing him her number in hopes he will text and/or call. Luca sexy as all get out part of the Marino Crime Family keeps his body in tip top shape spending time in the gym dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, not a man you want to cross and the moment he sees the much younger women in the gym with her giving him her number he knows this woman is his. Reaching out to her via text understanding why she reached out to him agrees to help her but in doing so he wants to get to know her better. The attraction is instant the magnetic pull can’t be ignored but both are a little in the dark on what to do next, what happens to the one blackmailing her hopefully he is taught a lesson, will they let age get in the way, and if not, can they make it work leading to something more like happiness?

This is the 2nd book in the Texting the Marino Mafia series featuring the steamy age-gap, curvy-girl, mafia romance between Luca and Ruby. Ruby has a problem she's being blackmailed by a fellow college student who drugged her then took naked pictures of her. He's threatening that if she doesn't do all of his college work that she won't like the consequences. Since he's a politician's son she feels helpless until the day she's walking with her sister in the gym and she passes by Luca who she's instantly drawn to. Luca is also captivated by Ruby he feels like he was punched in the gut when he saw her and he knows that Ruby is meant to be his. Ruby gives him her phone number when she finds out who he is and what it is he does she's convinced he's the only one who can help her. Luca agrees to help Ruby when he finds out her problem but he's not sure what to do about his growing feelings for her which is definitely not something that he's used to. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy age-gap, curvy-girl, mafia romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

The thing I love most about these books are those moments when everything screeches to a halt as the eyes of the MMC fall on the woman he knows will change his life forever. Ruby was an adorable mix of youth and naivety when she approached Luca Marino to ask for his help. Despite her trepidations about his Mafia connections, she saw him as her knight in shining armor. Sensing her fear, Luca is unsure if she’s ready for his kind of life and although he has never killed anyone who didn’t deserve what they got, he still has plenty of blood on his hands. Could Ruby love a man like that? I loved how understanding Luca was when Ruby was uncertain about taking the next step in their relationship, showing the kind of man he was. Yet, notwithstanding the obstacles in their path, Luca and Ruby have an undeniable connection that not even an involuntary separation can break; a connection only highlighted by the lengths Luca will go to, to protect the woman he loves.

Talk about hot, Hot, HOT!! That Luca is fire!! Ruby, I didn’t care that much for. Every time she’d make a remark about how mature she was, I’d just roll my eyes, she was just too wishy washy for me.
Needing help when there was no one else who could, Ruby took a chance and gave the Prince of the Marino mafia her phone number. She needs help desperately but she can’t help the secret fantasies where he tells her she belongs to him.
Enthralled by her beauty, Luca texted her asking how he could help, knowing she was his and he would do whatever necessary to keep her safe. His determination was put to the test and he succeeded with flying colors.
This was a hot, sweet read, it had lots of steam and was sweeter than you would expect a mafia prince to be. It’s one of those books that you’ll swoon over the MMC and will think about him long after you’ve finished reading. 5 swoony stars!.

Meeting His Soulmate -
I initially thought this book would be similar to ‘Texting Mr Mafia’ based on the title, but I was really wrong, as Flora Ferrari took my on one heck of a reading journey filled with angst, suspense and drama. I found myself eagerly turning the pages as I read the storyline about the sexual harassment, bullying, political manipulation. However, I was on the edge of my seat, as I read the pages about the way the hero took no prisoners when he finally resolved the matter.
Fortunately, patience, determination and great communication skills, helped the hero get the girl and the happily ever after that he craved. This is a story that deserves your entire focus when you start read it, because there is no chance you will want to take a break, until you reach the end. You will definitely enjoy reading it and be happy to recommend it.

Texting the Mafia Prince is Book 2 of Texting the Marino Mafia. It is a steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy virgin gets her mafia man romance. Luca is a burly, hunky, hot, 33 year old mafia man. Ruby is a shy, smart and curvy 20 year old college student. Ruby is being blackmailed by a politician's son to do all his college work as he drugged her then took naked photos of her. When she sees Luca at the gym, she is instantly drawn to him, as is he to her. He falls fast. She slips him her phone number, hoping he can help her. He agrees but wants her in exchange. They begin a steamy relationship started via texting. Can he help her? Will she give in? Can love work? There were a lot of twists and turns with this one. I don't want to give spoilers. That being said, the chemistry was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥 and we got a great HEA. Luca was so sweet with Ruby at times and willing to go at her pace. I loved it!!.

Ruby is at the gym with her sister trying to distract herself from what’s really on her mind and going on at home when she see’s Luca. She is instantly drawn to him and when she finds out who he is and what he does, she gives him her number because she’s determined he’s the only one that can help her. Luca was also immediately drawn to Ruby, so it’s no shock he agrees to help her. So when he starts feeling more, and wants to pursue her, he’s not exactly sure what to do, and she’s not exactly sure she’s ready. A few things start to add up and it starts to feel a little more like fate, as they navigate how it’s all going to work. While they are also figuring out Ruby’s problem and that there’s even more going on that’s about to be uncovered.

This is second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. That being said, I Love both books! This one is about Luca, the notorious playboy of the Family and and Ruby. Ruby is in desperate need of help. She is not sure how to take care of her problem so when she runs into Luca at the gym, she gives him her number.
Luca is so drawn to Ruby. He is ready and willing to help her. Together, he and Ruby have some steamy moments! It was incredible to watch Luca fall for Tuby, who is hesitant to get involved with someone of Luca’s nature. As they say, the heart wants what the heart wants.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!.

I loved Texting the Mafia Prince Book 2 of Texting the Marino Mafia. Luca changed his life a year ago but something is missing. He’s hollow inside until he sees her at the gym. When she speaks to him he’s in shock especially when he realizes she’s giving him her phone number. Ruby is in a bad situation and her only hope is Luca. He will help her and make her his forever. Many things are afoot, but there is no doubt about their connection and their future. Little bit of drama and lots of steamy scenes. I loved the storyline and the characters. I so hope Lexi and Colt get a story. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

In this book we meet Ruby Fitzgerald & Luca Marino. Ruby needs help and when she sees Luca in the gym one day she knows he can be just the man to do it. The problem she has though is she is deeply attracted to him and is sure he doesn't feel the same. Luca is just looking to blow off some steam one day. The problem with that is little punks at the gym just drive him crazy. When he sees Ruby he wants to know more he didn't realize how important she would become to him though. Can these two find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
Another amazing hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Ruby is desperate. She is a college student who was taken advantaged of and is now being blackmailed to do her blackmailer's college work. If she doesn't do the guy's work then he will post the pictures he took of her when she was drugged and barely dressed. Ruby doesn't know where to turn but as a history major she knows that sometimes a mafia don will help someone in trouble who is part of their territory. That is why she finds Don Luca in the gym and slips him a note asking for his help. He is willing to help her if she will do everything he asks. Ruby knows that she should be horrified by his demands but she can't resist him.

Ruby has a problem and she is being forced to do something she doesn't want to. While she is at the gym, she meets not only the answer to her problem but her future as well. Luca is the mafia prince and when he meets Ruby he just knows she is the one to hold away the darkness. Once the two of them really start texting they find themselves more and more addicted to eachother. That is until Ruby's dad finds out about Luca and forbids her from seeing Luca. Will Ruby and Luca be able to handle the distance or will it be too much?.

He is all confidence, experienced, skill, muscle, swagger, Alpha to the core, while she is completely innocent, intellect, shyness and hesitancy. Yet, when they come together the reaction is explosive, instant, hot and unyielding. Ruby has a problem, and Luca will stop at nothing to ensure it is resolved - permanently. Will this collaboration lead to more for them?
I am a huge fan of Ferrari's work, and I love these longer books as we can get more invested in the characters and their lives/relationships. Thank you Flora!!

Ruby needs help. She's being blackmailed and while at the gym she ends up talking to Luca, a mafia prince, and giving him her phone number. Her only hope is Luca and his help. Luca is everything that Ruby isn't. He's all alpha and she's a shy historian. Luca finds that Ruby is the one to chase away his darkness. He'll help her and make her his. Their connection is intense when they finally come together. There is drama, action, twists, intrigue, hot chemistry, and love. I loved the storyline and the characters. Looking forward to the next book.

An easy price to pay
Texting the Mafia Prince is the second book in the Texting the Marino Mafia series. I enjoyed this easy to read romance about Ruby and Luca. Wow, what a page turner. I read Texting the Mafia Prince by Flora Ferrari in one setting. i don't even read the book descriptions anymore because I already I am going to love it. Luca and Ruby's story kept me reading to the last page. Ruby asks the "Mafia Prince" for help when she sees him at the gym. Ruby is being blackmailed and Luca is the only person that can help. Luca becomes immediately obsessed with Ruby and he will not only eliminate Nate, but he will claim Ruby as his. She will belong to him and no one else.

This book has everything! Age-gap, blackmail, mafia and plenty of steam! Ruby is being blackmailed after a politician’s son drugged her and took naked pictures of her. She approaches Luca at the gym and slips him her number, hoping he win answer her plea for help. He agrees buts wants her in return and this starts a very hot text exchange.
These two were phenomenal. Luca and his developing feelings for Ruby, and Ruby can’t help but be drawn the him. Loved it!.

This is book 2 in the Texting the Marino Mafia series. The books are stand alone but the books are interconnected. Reading book 1 will help understand some of the characters. I liked how fast Luca knew Ruby was the one for him. He was so protective of Ruby which I loved. Also enjoyed the side characters Colt and Lexi. Hoping their book is next.

I enjoyed this second book as much as the first one in this series. They can be read independent but I found it helped to have read the first one to get the full understanding of all the characters. As always this is an insta love story. I gave it tree stars because it did not quite capture my attention and it took me longer than usual to read through it.
