Bookstore owner and witch Lily Michaels has a never-ending list of to-do items as the maid of honor for her best friends’upcoming St. Patrick’s Day wedding. The last thing she has time for is another mystery. But with a missing wedding dress, the discovery of a pair of leprechaun boots, and a body in a bathtub, she’s ready to mesh her love of puzzles and a little magic to help solve the crime. Even if her fiancé —Gage Erikson of the Pembroke Cove police department— is determined to keep her out of trouble and safe.
Good luck with that.
Lily is going to need more than the luck of the Irish to solve the murder while a group of treasure hunters, friends of the deceased, are in town. Only they’re not grieving. They’re focused on finding a pirate captain’s gold, which—according to legend—the rocky coast of Pembroke Cove keeps hidden…and is only accessible during three days in March.
Will Lily’s luck hold with a wedding in shambles and a murderer skulking in the shadows? She needs to follow the clues to solve the case but can her witchy skills save her when the final clue leads her to the murderer?

This cosy mystery is the sixth book in a series. I've read some of the others in this series before, and they're very quirky, lighthearted reads.
This was a lovely cosy mystery with a little touch of magic, and a Saint Patrick's Day theme. I would choose a book like this on a day when I need cheering up, as they're always a lot of fun, and easy to read in one sitting.
Thank you to Booksprout and the author for a free copy to review.

I hope you enjoy the St. Patricks Day themed cozy mystery. I love researching about pirates and buried treasure and it tied in perfectly with this book. After all what leprechaun can resist a pot of gold. Happy reading!
Disaster strikes when a man dressed as a leprechaun is murdered. Lily must act fast to catch the killer in time for her best friend's wedding but has her luck run out? Leprechauns & Larceny is a fun paranormal cozy mystery with a St. Patrick's Day theme. The mystery itself is filled with false clues and trickeries. The plot unfolds slowly so the reader is compelled to read late into the night. But it's the characters who make Leprechauns & Larceny an unrelenting cozy mystery.
Let's talk about these characters, shall we? Lily is much more relaxed and easy-going about everything. She's engaged to Gage. She's becoming better at her spells and other witchy things. She's the maid of honor for her bestie's wedding. She's even trying to solve a murder while keeping things calm for her best friend, Nikki. I like the changes in Lily. She's grown so much over this series. Sure, she dives into dangerous situations but she's more cautious now.
The cast of characters in Leprechauns & Larceny is a nice blend of locals and visitors. They create such a lovely group of potential suspects to sift through.
The mystery plot is intricate and detailed. What I love most about Leprechauns & Larceny is how complex the plot is. The more I read, the deeper I dove into the mystery. There are false clues to weed through as well as a large list of suspects. Who did it? Every time I thought I figured it out, they'd be innocent or have an alibi. I was completely invested in this paranormal cozy mystery from start to finish.
Some cozy mystery series are cookie cutter, but not this series. Each book is different and I can't wait to see what kind of fun Lily, Gage, and their crew gets into. This series is my addiction!.

This author's books are well written, well thought out with interesting story lines and loveable characters. She also does not follow the Stupidity Formula that is so common nowadays with characters that cannot communicate, and act and think stupid. There aren't any silly misunderstandings.
Bookstore Cozy Mystery Series: Leprechauns & Larceny, #6 - Another interesting addition to this series. Good pace, likeable characters and good story lines made for an entertaining read. Source: Booksprout. 4*
Books and Bribes, #1 - Usually a romance writer, Ms. Race tells a good witchy tale quite a lot better than the usual dumb down Cozy. Good characters, talking animals and a sweet romance made for an entertaining, enjoyable read. 5*
Catnaps & Crimes, #2 - Interesting. Romance become more of a focal point for the two best friends. It was easy to figure out the killer but still a good story with a good core of regular characters. 4*
Tea & Trouble, #3 - There's another murder with all kinds of "I did it" confessions. Dax and Gage open Lily's eyes. With plenty of secrets coming to light, an interesting mystery and our loveable characters blending together to make this a one sitting read. Sourece: Booksprout. 5*
Scares & Dares, #4 - It was easy to figure out the killer but that didn't stop the flow of the story. Interesting with some good fun with Dax, another correct assumption that I made about him. A fun, entertaining way to spend a few hours. Source: BookSprout. 4*
Holidays & Homicide, #5 - Lots of fun, romance, shady characters and a good investigation of murder. Good Christmas spirit to add to the mix. Source: BookSprout. 5* Bookstore Cozy Mystery Series end.
The ensemble cast of characters in "Leprechauns & Larceny" offers a delightful mix of locals and visitors, forming a charming array of potential suspects to sift through in this cozy mystery.
What sets "Leprechauns & Larceny" apart is its intricately woven mystery plot, teeming with detail and complexity. As I delved deeper into the story, I found myself increasingly absorbed in unraveling its layers. False leads and a lengthy list of suspects kept me guessing at every turn. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, the culprit remained elusive, leading to a truly gripping reading experience from beginning to end.
Unlike some formulaic cozy mystery series, this installment stands out for its distinctiveness. Each book in the series offers a fresh and engaging storyline, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next escapade with Lily, Gage, and their crew.
True to form, "Leprechauns & Larceny" delivers on all fronts with its compelling characters, well-crafted storyline, and unexpected twists and turns. The infusion of romance adds another layer of enjoyment, while Milo, the lovably cranky cat, never fails to provide moments of levity.
Immersed in the investigation alongside Lily and Gage, I found myself piecing together clues right up until the moment of revelation. As a dedicated fan of this series, I eagerly await the next installment and the new challenges that await Lily.

As Nikki’s Maid of Honor, Lily is focused on having things go smoothly. The last thing she needs is another mystery. Arriving at the B&B to set up for the reception, she’s shocked to find the room destroyed, Aunt Mimi’s dishes broken and her heirloom flatware missing, and a pair of leprechaun boots next to a pile of linens. Even more strange is that Nikki’s wedding dress is also gone. Checking the room set aside for the bridal suite, she finds a dead man in the bathtub. He’s one of a group of regulars who come to Pembroke searching for an infamous pirate treasure. Lily, never one to shy away from a puzzle, is determined to find out who killed him and why the wedding preparations were destroyed, as well as making sure Nikki and Steve have the wedding of their dreams. It might just take a bit of magic to pull this one off.
The sixth in Lucinda Race’s witchy bookstore cozy series has Lily continuing to grow in her powers. However, she may want to heed her familiar, Milo’s, advice to read her book more closely as she continues to find herself in the middle of danger. She and Gage are happily engaged after years of dancing around their mutual feelings. Dax has become like a brother to her, and Gage has him back up Lily’s sleuthing this time around. The mystery was good with some unexpected twists, and Lily underestimating the perpetrator.

If you are a fan of quirky, lovable characters and cozy mysteries, this is the series for you. This book is the sixth in the Bookstore Cozy series. The main characters are new to magic bookstore owner Lily and her detective fiance Gage (aka Detective Cutie). Lily recently discovered she is a witch, but she has always had a penchant for solving puzzles. And their little town of Pembroke Cove has had their share of mysteries.
With Lily's best friend Nikki getting married in a few days, a mystery is the last thing Lily thinks will happen. However, she walks right into one at the B&B where the reception is to be held. The victim is a leprechaun (a man dressed as one, that is) - and all of Nikki's wedding items.
Realizing the deeds are connected to the treasure stories that abound in their town, Lily and Gage have to follow the clues...and keep Lily out of too much trouble!
I am such a fan of this series and was putting together the clues right along with Lily and Gage. I can't wait to see what troubles find Lily next!.

This series is so good! I like being immersed in the story. Lila owns a bookstore and that keeps her busy. Now she has a huge list of things to do as the maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding. She sure did not have a bunch of things happen- missing wedding dress – a pair of leprechaun boots and of all things a body in a bathtub. This is going to keep her busy and you will have a great adventure as you read this book. I highly recommend you grab this book and settle in for a good time. This book is the sixth one in the series Book Store Cozy (Paranormal Cozy). You can easily read this as a standalone book. Bookstore owner and witch Lily Michaels is busier than ever. Her friend Nikki is getting married and Lily is her maid of honor. But when she goes to the B&B, things are in disarray and the wedding gown is missing! When she heads for the designated room, she discovers the body of John Bailey wearing a leprechaun costume and dead in the bathtub, later determined to have died from a broken neck after being struck by a skillet or a pot of some kind! What’s going on? Detective Gage Erikson, her fiancé, shows up with his team to begin their investigation. Treasure hunters are lurking around to add to the chaos. But who murdered the leprechaun? Will the wedding stay on course? Or will Lily still be chasing after the murderer?
This was another really good mystery and adventure for Lily and her friends. Since Nikki was on her honeymoon, Lily either sleuthed solo or Gage sent Dax with her. I like how they’ve really become good friends like a brother and sister, and they definitely have something important in common. But at least Gage knows he doesn’t need to be jealous anymore.
That was an exciting showdown and I might’ve been just as surprised as Lily. At least she had magic on her side so she could hold her own against the perp. I can’t wait to see what they all get into next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book, and my opinions are my own.
Book 6, it helps to read the previous books to follow Lily and Gage as their relationship progresses. However, the story itself is a standalone. It's Saint Patrick's Day and various events go wrong, such as a missing item while another item shows up as well as a murder. The chapters switch between Lily and Gage so readers gain an insight into the endearing characters as well as a wider overview of the mysteries. This is a cosy read where readers can participate in the investigation as Lily and Gage discover clues along the way.

I liked this one, but I wish there had been more details about everything. It seemed more like a synopsis than a fleshed out book. It's as if the book required a definite page count, so the author slashed the story to the bare bones. Even though I'm not particularly fond of weddings, I would have liked a few more details. The ending was so abrupt. I never quite understood why the original wedding dress was damaged. I wish she spent more time in the bookstore. How does she earn a living? I would like to see her expand her repertoire of spells. I'd definitely like to see more of Milo! Still, I keep reading. I want to love this series, but I'm content with mostly liking.
Leprechauns and Larceny is a fantastic addition to this brilliant series from Lucinda. I have been following this from the first book. like the others, you are kept in suspense, and intrigued until the end. This has been written brilliantly with wonderful characters, and a talking cat called Milo. There is always a murder to be solved and Lily has only found she is a witch for only 9 months. I'll leave my review here as my words don't do the justice this book deserves. I highly recommend it to all and am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

This was definitely had me scratching my head at times working out how things were linked and who was behind it, having a wedding thrown in the mix as well was great but a bit stressful for all. Seeing Dax become the brother Lily never knew she needed was awesome as well as seeing Dax, Lily and Gage all working together however Lily really needs to keep reading the book to help keep herself out of trouble!!.

Lily finds a dead man in a bathtub when decorating for her best friend’s wedding reception. Gage gets another person killed near his fiancée Lily. She is like a magnet for problems. This is another great mystery in this series. There are plenty of questions and few answers, but that doesn’t matter to Lily. She knows she will discover the truth. Lots of twists and turns until the truth is revealed at the end. I love Lily, Gage, Dax and of course, Milo. I can’t wait to see what happened next. Leprechauns and Larceny is an intriguing, St. Patrick’s day themed, cozy mystery! Lily is kept very busy as the matron of honor for her friend Nikki’s wedding. A missing wedding dress, a rash reception area and a dead body in the tub of the bride’s room were just more complications. With the help of a little bit of magic, the wedding still happens. I love this series, Lily, her friends, Milo and the dogs. I was held captive by this well plotted book until I reached the surprising ending!
I love Milo. He's the best cat lol. I figured this one pretty quick and I'm shocked lol. My whodunnit meter has been off lately but I knew something was up with this one. I didn't know why they did it but I knew it had to be them. There was just too much suspicion cast on others. I enjoyed this so much. And Dax is quickly becoming a favorite too.

Lily investigates when Nikki’s wedding plans get sidetracked by a dead leprechaun in the tub. Great read with interesting characters and fun mystery to solve. Can be read as a stand alone but best enjoyed if other books in the series have been read.

We are back in Pembroke Cove and another Body has been found by Lily. Steve and Nikki get married, not without some issues. Lily is determined to find out what happened to Mr. Bailey and at the inn. Pick it up to find out if Lily gets in trouble and solves the mysteries.

Lets go on a search for the pot of gold and when is the good time for this search but St. Patricks Day with the help of leprechauns. So goes this book in a series of cozy mystery. This one has a nice warm feeling like the others before it where you have friends getting together for a wedding and solving a mystery. So if you want a book for light reading this is the one.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Lily and Gage are good at solving mysteries. However this one had obvious suspects who were innocent and the real culprit was unexpected. I like the touch of magic in the story.
Excellent storyline. Who wouldn’t want a familial like Milo? Such a wonderful character! And who believes in buried treasures? This story line is cute, exciting and leaves you wondering whodunnit? Love it! I can’t wait for the next book! Highly recommend.
Seems we cannot have a happy event in town without something going wrong. Thankfully one couple gets their HEA wedding. This one kept me guessing an cannot wait to read the next one!.

Definitely cozy, did not really figure it out. Wanted more magic and cat! Gabe speaking was useless. Not sure I will read more, unless I need a break from heavy reading. She had a white board, and didn't figure it out from that...she never really figured it out herself! Hmm.
Cute series but heroine is getting tiresome. She's more of a pain in the neck to her besotted policeman boyfriend than a help. The plot lines are interesting though and the guilty party is always a surprise.
