People's Fine Arts Publishing Pub 2024-09 192 Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House Artist and illustrator Marion Duchas invites you into a whimsical world through this book of inspiration. Filled with amazing creativity and inspiration.
I have this book in hand from the local library. I found out about it because I enjoy children's illustrated books for the artwork and how the story and art inform one another. So, it was a wonderful treat to find that Deuchars has created a book for the child within each one of us. And her book succeeds in every way to inspire anyone to do something creative every day from the abandoned crayon play on a sheet of paper to creating shapes using graph paper, collages from left-over cut outs and rethinking what we can do with old photos and images cut out from magazines. Also very helpful are the suggested artists who used the various techniques and those authors whose books support some of the projects in Make Every Day Creative. This is a book I would love to purchase and have on hand especially for those down days when creating is difficult. I look forward to picking up Deuchar's Bob series from the library soon: Bob the Artist, Bob's Blue Period and Bob Goes Pop as well as Deuchar's illustrations in The Spots and the Dots by Helen Baugh.
