Things That Go was another adorable book following Kitty-Corn and her best friend Unicorn.
Things That Go is a board book that follows Kitty-Corn and her friends as they try out various modes of transportation. A spin-off of the Kitty-Corn picture books, this book is perfect for younger readers.
I have really enjoyed the Kitty-Corn pictures books so I decided to check out this book when I saw there were more books following these adorable characters. The art style is once again fantastic with more of a focus on the animals and the vehicles with minimal background illustrations. Each page shows Kitty-Corn, Unicorn, and their friends trying out different methods of getting around. There are four vehicles in each category with three being more normal vehicles with the final one being something fun that just happens to rhyme (i.e. sports car, trolley car, bumper car, cookie jar). It was a really fun concept and done very well.
Overall Things That Go was a cute read and I would highly recommend it for younger readers.
Board Book The Kitty-Corn club shows readers all sorts of ways things can move. Younger readers will appreciate the humor as one item in each page spread is not quite like the others. Brightly colored illustrations will hold their attention.
