Practice Makes Perfect

Practice Makes Perfect: Latin Verb Tenses

Rate this book
Learn Latin verbs with ease Most Latin verb books offer little more than charts of conjugations and a few mechanical exercises that do little to help you understand when and why a particular verb tense should be used. Practice Makes Latin Verb Tenses , by contrast, provides hundreds of verbs with their conjugations, along with clear, concise explanations that pinpoint why a certain tense works in a given situation.

I like the fact that there are many exercises, so you get plenty of practice. You can go as far into the book as you want/need to, it's not necessary to complete it all. For me, it made a nice companion to my OU Beginner's Latin course.

I had previously given this a good rating but now I'm giving it one star. The re-reading didn't go so well. In fact it was a disaster. I really hated everything about this book.
