I attended one of her talks at my school. It was interesting to hear the backstories of some of her poems.

I resonated with this book so much- both as a woman, and as a mixed race person. Brundage paints the confusing picture of identity crisis in a raw, unfiltered, and cathartic manner. So much emotion packed into this book.
