Bill is skippering his pride and joy, a lovely 50 foot long working trawler, fully and lovingly restored to her former glory. A trip is organised and Bill finds himself assisted by assorted weekend sailors, some of whom are useful, others decorative. Lucinda, a rather snobbish solicitor, irritates him by being rude and unhelpful, and laughs at him when he becomes angry. Finally he can contain himself no longer, and gives her exactly what she needs - a spanking. It does the trick and romance soon blossoms on board, but Bill is left bereft when he fails to hear from Lucinda for several weeks after the holiday ends. However, the relationship picks up again, passions ignite, and there are more spankings - and before long Bill gets to meet Lucinda's parents and a whole new future.
Bill was a furniture restorer with plans to design his own furniture. He came from means, but preferred a life based on skills. He restored a sail ship, that he takes out on weekends with friends.
Bill was always alone with the two couples, so his friend Maggie brought along Lucinda for the weekend. Lucinda was at odds. First, the ship was not a yacht; and two, Bill was blue collar not white collar.
Bill and Lucinda were at odds, till he had enough and put her across his knee. The spanking calmed her and awakening desires for this man who lived by his hands.
