Chef Jeff's 12 street smart recipes for success. If anyone can write a self-help book about becoming successful, it is indeed Chef Jeff. He served a ten year prison sentence for dealing drugs. He was educated and learned to cook while serving his sentence. I don't know of any other celebrity chef who has risen from such lows to become so successful. Chef Jeff lays it all out here, chapter by chapter on how you too can become a successful person. He lays out the basics, such as 'hustlepreneur', a term to describe a person who hustles, but does it for the right reasons. He lists 12 street smart tips, self-controller, sacrificer, knowledge-jacker, ESP-er, gambler, gab master, chameleon, crew master, winner, last in liner, no-strings giver, and shot caller. Each chapter is spoken in basic, easy to follow and understand language and it's not 'preachy'. Chef Jeff has been there and down that, and he explains it in a realistic way that makes sense so that anyone can understand it and become a more successful person after reading and applying his concepts. I thoroughly enjoyed this self help book and found it to very useful in my day to day life. Bonus-my copy is signed by Chef Jeff! I saw him give a talk and he was amazing! If you get the chance to see Chef Jeff, do it! He is a down to earth man, who is sincere and real.
