A light book that is very easy to read. It does not bring anything new, yet it affirms the obvious. 52 reflections for regret free living helps you pass the difficult times and appreciate the good times. It builds the self appreciation and the respect for others.

I enjoyed my time reading it. I had many underlined paragraphs and to remember pages.

I don't know if it was my high expectations of the book (5 Regrets of the dying is one of my favorite books of all time) or the fact that I ignored the intro that the book is more or less a collection of blogs and articles by the author. It is still a good read but I was kinda disappointed that the ideas presented weren't explored well enough.

I got a lot of good nuggets from this book. It was much deeper than I expected. I didnt use it as a 52 week journey. I just read it as I had time. Some chapters were amazing, some were good but things I've thought before and some were dull. But overall the insights she shares are helpful to live a more balanced, enjoyable life.

I like Bronnie's outlook on life and death. This one was worth listening to. May even had taken the 52 week challenge if it wasn't from the library.

I've been waiting years to finally get my hand on this book and read it. Highly recommend it for personal growth and insightful life lessons. Although it wasn't as brilliant as her first book.

Contemplative thoughts on life, you can't go wrong reading this book. Here are some of my favorite parts:

“Life has since taught me that heaven is not only for the dying, but is available to us now.”

“Trust in the big picture. Authenticity is a part of your soul’s journey. You are here to discover who you really are and then to share that wisdom with others. Bond with people over happy stories instead. Challenge yourself to go a week sharing only good stories and see how much lighter you feel.”

“Time is a man-made institution, separating the light and dark of the planet’s natural turning into units of hours, days, weeks, and so on. This enables the human race to function, or try to, with some control.”

“If you are genuinely going to live a life true to yourself, leave room for miracles.”

“The mulberry tree does not worry every winter when its leaves have left it exposed to the world, when the birds that keep it company in warmer months are nowhere to be seen. It simply rests and waits, preparing itself for another season of immense growth, knowing that springtime will come again. It understands that there are seasons, with time for rest and time for growth.”

Although this book is a very relaxed and entertaining read, something was missing for me to give it 5 stars.
Through 52 'stories' Bronnie gives us life advices , some small, some much more important. This a very 'gentle' book , no harsh words to change your life entirely but tender words to make you love yourself and because of that to enjoy your life so much more.

Przyjemna książka ale bez szału, nic odkrywczego, mam nawet szczerze mówiąc wrażenie, że napisana może trochę na fali popularności poprzedniej ;) (a już nie jest tak dobra).

I rarely do not finish a book, but I could not get into this one.
I tried, even flipping later in the book and just wasn't interested.

This book was nowhere near as good as Top 5 Regrets of the Dying or Bloom.

52 little nuggets of wisdom learned from the author's years of working in palliative care. The idea is to ponder each during the week for a year. This is an enjoyable read and an easy one, but I can't say I learned much that was new to me.

Has many good short stories that are inspiring and help you be more positive in life. Standing up for yourself but not taking on negatives from others. A great read.

Did not finish. I couldn't get in a pace with this book. Also I was unsure how should I implement some of the stories into weekly sessions

I loved her book "The Five Regrets of the Dying..." but was disappointed with the recycled material and repetition in this one.

There are 52 essays or short stories remind us to be grateful, mindful and live without regret. It is written so that a reader can read one story a day for an entire year. They are also not in any order and can be read in any order. The stories are very inspirational and made me feel good. I am glad to have read this book and will refer back to it again in the future. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants a daily gratitude or mindful reminder.

I've always liked the "Meditations", although at times they can seem a bit banal and obvious. These can be read at the beginning of each week, so they have time to "settle" in our thoughts and make us think.

Mi piacciono sempre molto le "meditazioni" anche se a volte possono sembrare un po' banali e scontate. Queste possono essere lette all'inizio di ogni settimana, in modo da avere il tempo di "sedimentare" nei nostri pensieri e farci riflettere.

THANKS TO NETGALLEY AND HAY HOUSE FOR THE PREVIEW!

Over the course of 52 weeks, Bronnie Ware guides us through a deep evaluation of our priorities, values and life choices to create a truly regret-free contentment.
Each step is carefully constructed to stimulate our creativity in a very honest and open way, but builds to powerful emotional insights.

Thanks to NetGalley and Hay House for the preview copy of this book.

The general concept of this book is lovely, but I found it a bit simplistic. I might be tempted to suggest it for someone struggling with regrets, resentment and such, but for anyone who is evolving through openness and self-awareness this book doesn't seem to hit the target.

I received a digital copy of this writing from NetGallery in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Nice stories

They were nice stories but I guess I am used to a little more reflective feeling. The stories were nice but I did not quite get the concept of the book.

I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. This book cover is on my Pinterest board and my blog, Michelle Dragalin’s Journey.

Mulle meeldis see raamat, sest ta võttis kokku hästi palju erinevaid sarnaseid raamatuid minu jaoks. Selle raamatu jaoks peab õige meeleseisund ja hetk olema, muidu võib lääge tunduda.

Beautiful examples and subject material, but the audiobook I found much too slow and soupy.
