I always feel bad when rating a book lower than 3 stars. I know just how hard authors work to write this stories. I very rarely rate 1 or 2 stars. Unfortunately, I just have to do it sometimes.
This book needs a lot of editing, specifically regarding the timeline and flow of the story. It was so confusing because one moment it has been a week then the next chapter the character is saying it has only been one night. It was absolutely hard to comprehend where we were in the story when the story does not even know where we were and what is happening!!! I was so lost multiple times! It keeps going back and forth with the timeline so badly.
The characters did not resonate with me at all and the conflict was not enough to hold my attention. I was so excited when I read the premise of this book but it all went downhill when I started reading it 😩
I am grateful for getting a free copy of this book but I unfortunately did not manage to get into it or enjoy it.

An intriguing story.
While this is an intriguing story of a human and demon in love, it really needs editing. Not only were there plot inconsistencies, but there was a lot of missing punctuation as well. Even though I did enjoy the story, I kept getting pulled out of it. At one point, I just thought, “Huh? I thought x just happened and now it’s y?”

Quick read, fast paced and action packed. Bound by Shadows is narrated in third person with a main focus on the FMC. Good chemistry between FMC and MMC with a few steamy scenes. Storyline was unique and interesting kept my attention throughout. I am definitely looking forward to the next two books in this series!

The story is unusual and therefore interesting. I enjoyed reading it. It's refreshing to have a different angle on the story.

Thanks to the author for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
I thought the cover of this book was beautiful and the storyline attracted me - who doesn't love a demon? The characters have a great chemistry, with lots of love and romance plus some sexy scenes with tenderness and emotion. I think the story is unusual, interesting and action-packed, keeping me interested. The cliffhanger ending was tbrilling, and I can't wait for the next part of the story in book. 2!
