A book that includes 92 inspirational dog photos—each with it's own philosophical statement. Although the statements won't mean as much without seeing the wonderful photo that accompanies it, here are a choice few: (let this be your motivation to buy the book!)😉
🩵 If life closes a door, bark until someone opens it again.
🩵 Take all your wrinkles as laugh lines.
🩵 One floppy ear is no excuse to half listen.
🩵 Savour the world. Lick everything.
🩵 You don’t need the body of an athlete to run free.
🩵 Happiness, my ball stuck atop the highest shelf. Come down, happiness.

I won this book on Goodreads. This is an excellent book for pet owners, dog owners especially. It has well-known sayings, sometimes stated correctly & sometimes changed a bit to incorporate something about dogs. Each saying has a picture of a different dog. It is a delightful, quick read.

Andrew Darlow has put together a delightful book of dog photographs and words of wisdom or inspiration. The dogs are in costume or their natural state paired with cute captions. "From time to time, it's okay to wake up on the wrong side of the floor," and "Savor the world. Lick everything," are two captions and photographs that come to mind.
Biscuit for Your Thoughts is a book to keep for yourself when you need a little pick me up, or to give to a friend or two who love dogs, or who want to. The dogs portrayed are irresistible and pull at your heartstrings instantly.
I wholeheartedly recommend getting this book.

I can’t believe such a book exists! It actually got published! And I found it in the philosophy/ literature section of my library!

Cute dog pics with quotes and ideas most of us are familiar with, and have, I suppose, at one point or another, wondered about dogs.

Nothing out of the ordinary though.

It's cute. And that's about it. Essentially a collection of proverbs and sayings, often twisted to fit a dog's point of view. Each little saying is accompanied by a cute dog picture. Not much else to it.

Biscuit for Your Thoughts?: Philosophy According to Dogs will make the perfect stocking stuffer for your dog-loving friends and family. At least I am counting on that.

My favorite entry may well be, "If life closes a door, bark until someone opens it again."

Sweet and simple. Cutesy little sayings ("the food is always better off someone else's plate") accompanying cute dog photos. Several pugs.
