*I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.* Short story told from the point of view of the dirty cheater. Who reads only because of the sex scenes will like the story. I got mad at the guy who couldn't keep the zipper of his pants closed. It's not my cup of tea.
I'm having a hard time putting a review together, even more giving a review I feel comfortable with.
As much as I enjoyed the eloquent writing style that reminds me of Emmanuelle de Maupassant, with this setting and story the narrative felt oddly out of place for me. Also, there was far too much time spend to describe all settings, like the party - including the entire buffet - although the main character did leave just moments later, or both flats. I understand - now having finished this short - that the scene at the party was necessary for a foreshadowing of the next encounter of "Dick".
Then for a short there was far too detailed background information about all named characters. It would have fittet better if that book was longer, especially because all that knowledge about the characters didn't help me to build a connection to them. Even worse: none of the characters were really likable to me.
The erotic scene where the story was working towards was very well described, a little repetitive, but I couldn't really enjoy any of it. And that this story is obviously addressing a male audience - because I get that mane men fantasize about their babysitter - but because of the adultery. He neither has his wife's consent, nor is his marriage over. It's real plain adultery and he expects everything to continue and has - as stated - no guilty feelings. And I personally absolutely despise that.
I probably would have given this short four stars, I really was about to, but the character became aware about what he was doing and he deliberately continued and cheated on his wife. And if this book was just a scene about a man having his awesome fantasy fulfilled in taking his kid's babysitter, I wouldn't have been so strickt on everything. However, the narration of the book, obviously wants it to be regarded as more.
2.5 still not one of my favorites but a hot quick read none the less. I didn't leave a review the first time I read it so here goes....
Richard and Alice have attended a company holiday party the company he works for was holding, Richard wasn't happy about being there and couldn't wait to leave. When they return home their eighteen year old babysitter says she needs his help so he goes upstairs to his apartment and proceeds to have sex with her. It was hot but it still felt kind of icky and it wasn't because she was calling him Mr. Martin because there are plenty of books where that's a thing, and it wasn't the age gap because again that's not an issue. It could be because his wife was in the apartment/flat downstairs and he was upstairs getting his rocks off without her knowledge, it was full on cheating - not an open marriage or a menage or anything like that, and then while he's having sex he starts to feel guilty...but that doesn't mean he stops mind you. If you don't mind cheating you'll probably enjoy this read but if you do, I'd suggest you skip this one.
this would’ve been even hotter if he didn’t fucking cheat on his wife that just had a new born baby with a woman right above his apartment where he lives … with. his. wife. and. baby.
What happens when a man, who is happily married and has never strayed, is tempted by his young and sexy babysitter? Does he follow through and take what the babysitter offers? Or does he walk away? I suggest reading this story to find out.
This is a very sexy story. I ended it eagerly wanting the second in the series. Highly recommended if you love good erotica.

This book was reviewed at the request of the author.
Considering this book is only 35 pages, it certainly packed a lot in.
There was plenty of descriptions about people and the scenery at the office party, which I didn't expect because of the length of the book. The banter between Richard, Scarlett and Alice was clever. If I hadn't of known the title of the book, I would have thought Richard's indiscretion would have been with Scarlett.
There were 4 sentences I didn't like in the whole book. These were:
"He thrust his tongue into her molten depths" (I don't think any woman would like to have her lady parts described as moulten depths!) "She had a spiced, tangy flavour" (Never tasted a spicy tangy muff unless it's during crisp play lmao) "Ughhh....so-so tight" (Tight is good isn't it?? Not ughhh) "Withdrawing his softening arousal from her still vivacious channel" (Vivacious = attractively, lively and animated....clever pussy! And channel is just a no no lol)
They lost the book a star!
All in all, it was an enjoyable read and worthy of 4 stars just for the amount the author managed to fit in and that it was well written and flowed nicely.
******I received this in exchange for a fair and honest review******* This is the first I have read from this author. He sure didn't fail to please! Even though this novella was short (35 pages) it still packed a punch! This novella is written through Richard Martin's Pov. He and his wife, Alice, are attending a Christmas Party. They come home and the realization of his hot yet innocent looking babysitter having the hots for him hits Richard. I don't want to give any spoilers, so you should definitely read this! This novella is sexy and will leave you dripping! Bring on some more from Dark Inferno!
I recently just finished this book and it was spicy let me tell you. But in all honesty I really did love it. Its an extremely quick read and I can't wait to read more. All of the character work together wonderfully and the chemistry from them all are fabulous. Like I said at the beginning I is a very quick read yet it will get you hot. So make sure you have a bucket of ice water to dump on yourself after you finish this story. All in all its a 5 out of 5 stars for sure! I am very excited to read more from Dark Inferno.
Holy Hotness!!!!! If you are looking for a short but extremely hot read this is the book for you. At first Mr. Martin had me saying WTF. All that changed and now I would love to be Mr. Martins babysitter! !! He will have you pissed then all hot and bothered in a matter of seconds! Can't wait until the next one comes out.
A good, fast treat of a read. Richard couldn't hold his frustration any longer when Rebecca tempted him to far, his wife was long forgotten. A hot little story, interested to see what Richard gets up to next.
I received a free copy of this book by signing up for the author’s newsletter. As such, I didn’t know much about the book beyond the description on the author’s Twitter ad. I like babysitter stories and this one sounded pretty hot.
The ad was told from the babysitter’s point of view so you can imagine my surprise when the story beings with Richard at his firm’s Christmas party. We quickly learn that Richard hates being there and soon discover one of the reasons why. His supervisor, Scarlet Homes, arrives on the scene to make his life miserable. Scarlet is supermodel hot and she knows it. Watching her taunt and tease poor Richard makes me forget all about the babysitter and instead makes me wish someone would dump a bowl of punch over her perfect little head.
Then Richard’s wife shows up at the worst possible moment. The banter between Alice and Scarlet is priceless. The claws are out, but this catfight is handled through exquisite dialogue and skilled storytelling. Alice eventually gets the upper hand in a very sexy way. (You’ll need to read the story to find out, I’m not telling.) Scarlet storms off, the office breaks out in applause, and Alice drags a very humiliated Richard out of the room.
At this point, I realize this isn’t just another bang the babysitter story. This story is about real people with real problems in real situations. Richard could be any one of a dozen guys I’ve known. When we finally reach the scene between Richard and the babysitter we realize Richard isn’t looking to have sex with her. She comes on to him and, as the title suggests, he struggles with the temptation. The heat builds until he eventually succumbs (this is erotica after all) and we are given a sex scene that is best read one-handed, if you get my drift.
The only criticism I can give, and this is mostly my own fault, is that the story ends with a cliffhanger. I didn’t realize this was the first of three books, so when the story ends with Richard heading back to his apartment where a horny Alice awaits, I’m left wondering how Richard is going to explain his encounter to his wife. I want to read that scene!
*A complimentary ecopy was given by the author in exchange for my honest review.*
I must say that even though this story is a short one, it certainly left a lasting impression. I know when I finished it, I had a smirk on my face. Not a smile or a grin, but a smirk. I thought it sexy & sneaky. I really, really liked this story. One could even say it's taboo but really it's just plain old infidelity. May not have been right, however, I don't believe morality is the theme here. This is a well written fantasy of an ordinary, working, family man who's tempted by the babysitter. Happens everyday. This story just goes into detail of how that would happen. And you know what else? It probably wouldn't have happened if it weren't for his wife saying what she said. I'm not putting ALL the blame on her but it sure did influence his decision. The ending was definitely a bit of a cliffhanger. Oh, I SO want to know what happens next!! I guess that's where my smirk comes from. So, if you're looking for an erotic quick fix, read this. You just might be the one smirking.
Wow! I have to admit...I really enjoyed Sweet Temptations. It's taboo and cliche, but seriously hot. L.M. Mountford showed readers how a simple everyday man is faced with temptation from his boss to his babysitter. Things that normal men (and women) are faced with all the time. Of course, he didn't handle it very well, but it's a book and these things happen in books (and real life) to make a good story. Readers are supposed to be entertained and I was entertained. I definitely don't agree with cheating in any way, shape, form or fashion, but I don't necessarily mind reading it in fiction. This was Richard's fantasy and I see him as a man who was overcome with unexpected lust. Maybe in the future installments, we'll see Alice get her own sweet temptation and some revenge??
*I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*
The Sweet Temptations series is one to watch out for and add to your TBR lists if you enjoy great writing, with fast, gripping and hot story lines. A very easy and thoroughly enjoyable read. Dark Inferno has a way of painting a solid picture in few words. Also a well edited novella with little to none grammatical errors which urged me to give this read an extra star! Looking forward to the next novella in the series.
This is a hot little spicy sassy novella here , I can't wait to read the whole book! Wow , some might say this is a controversial topic but I can see how things can happen . Maybe the taboo is part of what makes it hot ! Looking forward to reading the rest of this authors work . I received an ecopy for my honest opinion and review , I don't give spoilers so , check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed but it is short cause it continues on in another book as a series .
I liked the overall story but I struggle with the cheating. I know this is fiction and sometimes cheating is less bothersome to me. I liked Alice and that's probably why I struggle a little more with it. The scene with the babysitter, Rebecca, is hot and Alice getting her digs in with Scarlet is fantastic (honestly, it's my favorite part of the novelette).
The Babysitter – A Forbidden Age Gap Romance - Richard finds that his sweet young temptation, the babysitter, has the hots for him but is he willing to give himself up to his lustful thinking and destroy all he has. Temptation has never looked so sweet.

-- MY THOUGHTS -- Micro-Novella: under 50 pages. I will admit, I was hesitant to agree to read this for the author for several reasons, based on previous experience and NOT person preference. Right away, I thought this novella may have a few strikes against because it's been my experience that 1) novellas of this length rarely create a full, dynamic story. 2) Romance stories written by male authors have been more graphic and crass than romantic and/or erotic. And 3) I've really had a hard time connecting with many British authors. It's not the language and terminology, because I generally enjoy discovering a "footpath" in place of sidewalk, "crisps" in place of chips or "windscreen" in place of windshield. Despite all of that, I vowed to myself when I began writing reviews more seriously that I'd be 100% honest and fair with every book I read. I agreed to read the book, because I was asked to. Simple as that. So, these are my findings on this novella: It is written in a third-person format, but obviously from the male's POV. That is something we do not often have the opportunity to experience. The synopsis was off-putting because I have zero-tolerance for cheaters, but I'm well aware that they are out there and felt that regardless of my personal feelings, I'd still give it a fair and honest assessment. That it is the babysitter that is the temptress is rather cliche though and woefully unoriginal. On the bright side, the characters are written well. The dialogue and interaction feel believable and the flow of the writing is really good. There are a few parts that are so distinctly "foreign" that I felt like I needed a translator app to fully comprehend it, but that did not detract from the quality or experience. While the first half of the novella has a bit of plot working for it, the full second half is a detailed, play-by-play sex scene. There's no resolution other than the fact that they both got off and the conclusion is "to be continued". It is no more a stand-alone novella than the pilot episode of a new TV program would be. If "cheating spouses" is a sub-genre of romance that you enjoy, I'd probably wait for the rest of the novellas to release and read it as a whole. While I'm not a fan of the sub-genre and topic, I was very pleased with the quality of writing and flow in this novella.
The book was a short novel and was well written. I felt that the beginning part of the book explaining the work party Richard Martin is at was a little long and boring but I understand why the author wrote it. It lays the foundation down for the next book in the series. So up front this is mainly a book about the Richard Martin who cheats on his wife Alice with the babysitter named Rebecca. I whole heartily believe that Richard was an honest man and wouldn’t do something like that to his wife. When a seed in planted in a man’s head it festers and grows into something more. Rebecca was watching their son while they were at Richard’s company holiday party. When they returned home, Rebecca asked Richard if he could help her with the computer at her flat before her dad returned from work and she got in trouble. Richard agreed but before he went upstairs to Rebecca’s flat, his wife made him all hot and bothered and plus it had been a month since they had sex. She made he hard and horny and then talked about how beautiful she is and told Richard how Rebecca watches his every move and smiles when he comes into a room. Richard went to go help Rebecca and the thoughts in Richard’s mind ( and I would like to point out from his wife mentioning it) about Rebecca were played out into action. Let me make a point and say that Rebecca the babysitter is 21 years of age and is not underage at all. Rebecca tells Richard that she has always wanted him. Needless to say, Richard and Rebecca have wild crazy sex and the rest of the book is describing the sex scene. I thought it was well written. Most of you are probably thinking he cheated on his wife, but his wife shouldn’t have put this thoughts in his head from the beginning. I would have like to see the story progress a little more as to what happened next with Richard and Rebecca and if there relationship continued but it did end with him leaving the flat after their romp. I would definitely read the next novel in this series by Dark Inferno.

Review 3 words to describe this book: Naughty, Fun, and Drama
Serial Read | Can Be Read As A Standalone
Richard Martin and his wife have recently downgraded to a more modest living space due to a downturn in the economy. At the top of the book, we get a quick peek into Richard's work-life and some fun characters that I believe will get their day in the sun in the sequel (which I can't wait to read). However, after the work event, we meet Rebecca Blaire. She's a kind, beautiful, and young woman who provides child care for the Martins' young son. She also provides Richard with forbidden thoughts.
I'm all about commitment but this book is a fun exploration of will he or won't he?
Mountford brought the fire in this one! This book had me completely hooked. It was a fast read with a quick pace. I read it in under a couple of hours. It had fun drama, sassy characters, and heat in spades. I could not put it down.
If you are looking for a dull read that doesn't turn up the heat, this is not the book for you. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ! It is pulse-quickening, naughty, and oh-so-exciting.
Triggers: The subject of cheating is discussed.
Highlights: Super great sensuality, a clear plot, and did I mention it is a fun read.
I give this read 5 Stars! THE BABYSITTER is a good read (from a fantasy standpoint)! I'm sweetly tempted to read it again and again!

My Review Rating 4 Stars Have a little hot erotica on your lunch break with this mini novella, when the author reached out, and asked my blog if we would review I had no problem doing so. There is a-lot of story packed into this book. The story kept my interest and the pages kept turning, and the heat in the room kept getting warmer. This is a hot little number to read, short enough to read on your lunch hour, but hot enough you may not want to get back to work a little wet. The story is great and nicely paced. I thank Dark Inferno for asking me to read, as it was different from what I’m typically reading and for me a bit refreshing. Reviewer for Hellmouth’s Bookblog & Reviews.

This is a short and spicy little read. If you like a story that gets to the point without all the filler, then this is great. Richard and his wife are at a pretty routine and dull Xmas office party. Nothing ever happens at these things and they aren't some lavish and luxurious affair. Yet it's a compulsory event and one he dreads. It would seem his life is pretty straight forward and uneventful. He has a beautiful wife and a gorgeous child but lives in a flat he dislikes in a place that is their second choice. His job is the same, he was made redundant from the job he loves and eventually finds his current one, which pays the bills but that's it. All pretty normal, routine and quite boring. The story heats up with a little playful flirting with his bosses daughter at the party. Yet nothing comes of that when his wife walks along. Once they sneaked out of the party and made their way home to pay the babysitter. It starts to liven up a bit. The babysitter is gorgeous and innocent looking. 21 yet seems quite young. She obviously has a thing for Richard, which his wife has noticed, but she is sweet and needs his help. So I don't need to go into what happens next, but it was good and what the story needed. The beginning was well written but a bit slow, being that it was only so many pages I didn't think too much of it. Once it kicked off, the heated, naughty scenes proved to liven up the story and made for a good read. It's perfect for a quick read when you don't want to have to think too hard you just want to be entertained.
**I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.**
Richard is an ordinary guy (well, that's how the author describes him) and indeed his life isn't remarkable. He's married and has a young son and has recently moved to a new city for work.
We meet him at the office Christmas party where he's having very little, or rather, no fun at all. Until he starts chatting with his flirtatious female boss, Scarlet, who happens to be ten years younger and the daughter of the company owner. When Scarlet starts getting a little handsy, Richard has to be rescued by his wife, Alice. When they arrive home, Richard's attention is diverted to the neighbourly babysitter who needs Richard to sort out her PC. While he's there, one thing leads to another.
Okay. So here's my take on this story. First of all, as a protagonist, I don't find any reason to like Richard. I get what the author tried to do in writing a story about an ordinary man as an antidote to the Mr Grays and Mr Crosses of erotic fiction.
But I think he failed in giving me as a reader a character I can root for. I mean, Richard is a weak man. Period. I found no justification for his cheating, except that he was aroused and there was a willing female body available. His wife was willing and available just a few metres away. If he needed to find sexual release, why didn't he go home?
Having said that, this is the first story in a serial which features Richard's sexual adventures so there is more to come and hopefully a growth arc that sees him maturing as a character.
This is a quick read and when it did eventually get there, the erotic scenes were done well. By all means, pick up this book and read it for what it is, good erotic fiction.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. The author requested my book blog for a request, which I love doing! However, I have to give a disclaimer, that there is some infidelity within this story, so if you do not like a book with this as a subject this book isn't for you.
The book is written well, and is very entertaining. I am intrigued for the next book. And I have to say, in my opinion the wife within the story is up to something. Sad to say, I don't like her!
Meet Richard Martin, an accountant, that is married to his college sweetheart, but seems to be just floating through life. He is a strong and likable character and means well, even though in the end it will leave you divided. Richard, strongly dislikes his supervisor and her constant come-on's, and his wife likes to taunt the supervisor of her possession of Richard.
Enters Rebecca Blaire, the upstairs neighbor, a 21 year old beauty that Richard and his wife befriend and hire to watch their 16 month old on occasions. Now it is obvious that she has a crush on Mr. Martin and it seems that Richard harbors feelings for her too. But Rebecca is in a pickle when her abusive father is due home and the family computer is on the fritz, and she is in a panic it won't be fixed before he comes home. Richard, reluctantly agrees to review it.
And the rest is history. Let's see how Richard moves forward and what happens with Rebecca.
Richard hates to go on parties, especially his firm’s Christmas parties. He is married with Alice and he is committed to her, honored and honest man. On this party Richard’s boss daughter Scarlett openly flirts with him in front of his wife. That night when he and his wife go home after Christmas party there was Rebecca, their neighbor and babysitter and for the first time in his life he was tempted. Richard couldn’t think in that way if Rebecca doesn’t ask him to repair her computer or if Alice doesn’t mention that Rebecca is beautiful and looks at him with admiration. This is small book for people who like adult fiction. Interesting is that in this about thirty pages everything is written and described well. I don’t expect explanation for décor of the party and Richard’s home considering genre and weight of the book, but is interesting and embed in content. I like Richard when he was faithful and honest and dedicated to his wife. I don’t like much Alice and I think that she is the reason why Richard did what he did. She is little bit rigid, jealous and demanding. Scarlett is blatant, I don’t judge her, but I couldn’t stand that kind of girls. This book was provided by the author in exchange of honest review.
If ever you need to get your motor started and books can do it for you then this is the one you should read. It is short and extremely HOT!!
I gave this 5 stars based solely on the fact that it made want to jump my husband. It is extremely erotic. Now as for the main man, he is a slimy piece of crap. Personally I think he should chop it off an hand it to his wife because that is what she is going to do anyway. I despise cheating husbands (too much personal experience). He has an extremely attractive wife, a relatively new baby and apparently low self esteem.

The set up is simple. A husband with a young baby, frustrated, hating his job, subjected to border-line bullying by his superiors, has to endure an office party before going home and helping the babysitter (who lives in the flat above) to mend her computer.
So far, so good. It's a classic erotica plot, well-thought out with colourful, convincing characters. The babysitter is 16, nubile and blonde, and his wife is dark, feisty and sexy. I'm not sure why Richard was compelled to bang the girl when the woman was obviously up for it and willing to wait for him, but bang her he did. And how.
The sex starts with a slow burn and even though I was thinking, why are you doing this, you total wanker? It sort of worked in a "peeping through the letterbox and seeing something you shouldn't" kind of way.
The upshot was, it wasn't my thing but I can see that a lot of people would get off on it. For me, Richard was too much of a weed and he redeemed himself too late, plus he was a bastard for the way he acted at the end. I just didn't fancy him enough to forgive him, but don't let that put you off.
People experience temptations in many forms. There is the temptation of food, the temptation to lie or steal and even the temptation to cheat on your significant other. This is the temptation that Richard Martin is dealing with. Married to Alice, his controlling wife, Richard enjoys a flirtation with his work supervisor, Scarlet Holmes while at the annual Christmas party. With lots of eye contact and innuendos Richard and Scarlet are attracted to each other but Alice is not having it. Upon returning home with the intention of helping their young and pretty babysitter, Rebecca, to repair her laptop in the upstairs apartment Richard is once again faced with temptation. Rebecca has always had a secret crush on Richard but will they give in to their desires? Will Richard cross that line? This was a short but sexy story of desire and enticement. The story is well written and flows very nicely with believable characters and situations. Hopefully we will get to revisit Scarlet and Richard in another book to see where their story leads. I enjoyed this book and look forward to many more by this author.
