My Powered By Plant cookbook arrived November 10th. I have already made ten recipes - am working through the entire book (doing my only Julie & Julia_). Every single recipe has been fantastic. My husband and I have loved all of them and that is saying something as we are not vegan, in fact we are not even vegetarian (although we try to eat mostly that way). My husband hates beans and chickpeas yet in these recipes he has loved them. Great great book. Just had to write and tell you
I purchased this book after my specialist informed me that I needed to go on a plant based diet for the rest of my life. The book is informative regarding nutrition, nutrients, and where they can be found.
The second part of this book gives tasty recipies. I have adjusted several of these to suit my tastes.
My only "gripe" with this book is that the mesurements and temperatures are all imperial and metric measurements are omitted. They could easily be included.
I have been on a plant based diet for over two years now and feel healthier for it. I recommend this book.
