Shadow Slave Volume 6 All The Devils Are Here

This volume runs from chapter 1061 to 1230 and concludes an epic Antarctica arc. It was absolutely incredible to read this Antarctica arc. It was packed with emotions and epic scenes, as well as some desperate moments, and it also featured some of the most insane battles I've ever read. I thought the epic scenes of this arc had already ended in volume 5, but I was very wrong because this volume showed that there was still much more to deliver than I had already read. In this volume, we saw the protagonist Sunny dealing with one of the greatest threats to date, as well as his allies who also faced daunting challenges. Each had their moment to shine, but the highlight goes to Sunny, who gave his all to help in this colossal battle that was taking place. I still don't know if I liked volume 5 or this volume 6 more because volume 5 traumatized me a lot in terms of how much shit happened in the story. This volume also had its moments, but I still don't know if they compare to the previous volume. However, the ending of this one promises a grand journey for our protagonists that could end up revealing itself very deadly, and I hope that now they are united more than ever to be able to face what is to come. Overall, I liked the development of the story, the development of the characters, I really liked the battle scenes in this volume and especially the cliffhanger at the end. As I said in the previous volume, I say again, this work is becoming one of the best things I've ever read, and this author is becoming an all-time favorite of mine. For those who haven't read it yet because of the number of chapters, I ask that you give it a chance; you won't regret it. Shadow Slave is a fantastic work that deserves much more recognition.

goddamn. we love an intense ending. definitely not as much sraight up war as you'd expect considering how much he was worried about the influence the war would have on the lives of mundane people. I really love the characters, honestly. (imp is a growing favorite..)
The consistency in the character growth is really good in this webnovel. When sunny was a sleeper, the absolute peak that he could possibly think about fighting were fallen abominations. As a sleeper it wasn't easy, but it also wasn't rare to have to prevail against one (especially with the cohort.), the spire messengers and the black knight for example. As an awakened, he could consistently battle fallen abominations, but corrupted creatures were only battles he could dream of fighting without relying on luck and information. Nearing the end of this stage, he was only able to kill one before the nightmare (and possibly during the nightmare, i don't think he killed another). Also at this time, he'd been starting his career as an ascended human murderer (and at the end of the nightmare, there was the fight on the flying ships where he could kill ascended relatively easily). now, as an ascended, corrupted creatures aren't so difficult for him, but we don't even see creatures of higher ranks mentioned. Until the very end. Its as if the gap between the ranks grows as you get more powerful. Actually, thats exactly what it is. the difference between an awakened and a master isn't as wide as the gap between a master and a saint. So presumably, the gap between a saint and a supreme is even larger. Its interesting to think about how this will affect the domain wars, but also how it will affect the nightmare.

A great way to end a beautifully written miserable arc and what a way to enter a new arc.

It brought back the main cast fully together, whether it was a happy reunion or a sad one, at the time I could not tell. But seeing them all together for a brief moment, gave me a weird nostalgic flashback towards the earlier volumes.

This volume also gave more opinions towards a certain groups of people (one that I would not name for the sake of spoilers) in his perspective, molding a certain opinion that I myself could not help but agree to it at the time of reading. It was just too convincing....

The entrance towards the new arc was seemingly filled with more mysticism and desperation radiating from the main character than ever before....

Short but meaningful, 'All the Devils Are Here' is a great 5.5 and thus continuation but simultaneously a grand set-up for the Third Nightmare. Sunny is once again powerless to stop the Spell and begins to grasp onto Nephis's ambitions and his true convictions in the matter. All character's had their time and suffered their losses or experienced a realisation. A worthy climax and smooth transition into the Nightmare Desert, perhaps Nether's Citadel in the Hollow Mountains shall be next? I absolutely loved Antarctica, definitely my second favourite saga in the series. Also that last page for c. 1230? I just know the next book is going to be a mind fuck and a half.

Ahh and like that the epic Antarctica arc comes to an end!
I probably liked volume 5 more, however this one still hitted; especially the fights and where he and Neph killed a saint ahhh
Also, really liked it that we got to see more of the two great clans; the best was the more screen time of mordret hihi (to be honest he is totally one of he characters I find the coolest and wanna read so much more of, especially if he will be for once an ally in the next arc or once again sunnys rival and enemy o:
Absolutely damn hyped for the third nightmare, like let’s goooo!

4.25⭐️

Good volume but the least fav bc the plot wasn’t moving forward that much, it was mostly about war between Valor and Song clans. I loved the fights though as well as how close Jet got to the group and now that they are entering the 3rd nightmare and with all the spoilers I know, i am both excited and scared at the same time.

Also, what do you mean “welcome 13 million ascended”?????????

Love this Volume. In all honesty probably my least favorite Volume of the story but still is amazing. So I guess that shows how much I love the series. Seeing Sunny and Nephis kill a Saint was pretty awesome as well.

Brief volume, feels more of like a prelude to the third Nightmare. Sunny gets to be one of the big wigs. Has something more in him as a character now.

Not as spectacular as the last volume in my opinion, but a phenomenal read nonetheless. Thank you Guiltythree for another fantastic read.

This is an interesting one… I absolutely loved the character development that we saw during this volume. It was extremely gratifying seeing the impact of the previous volume as well as the increase in both strength and responsibility Sunny takes on. My biggest gripe is that this volume seems to be solely setup for the next (which I am extremely excited for by the way). I did love the Battle of Black Skull and Sunny’s collaboration with Nephis, but the final portion of the volume lost momentum, making it somewhat boring. However, now that the Third Nightmare approaches (especially with the cliffhanger) I do not doubt that it will pick back up.
