A great and clear introduction to the existentialists' school of thought. There is a good collection of small novels in the book as well. Existentialists have a really insightful approach to life - worth studying it - life changing.

This was my introduction to philosophy as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan. I instantly switched my major to philosophy.

A pretty decent introduction to various philosophies and their ties to existential thought. There are a few stories placed between the informational chapters, relating to the context of the philosophy being discussed. I don't believe you can read into existentialism too much before it becomes abstract, so the length of this book is a perfect fit. There is one particular story about a train passing through a never ending tunnel that I especially loved.
