Viktor Emil Frankl was an Austrian neurologist, psychologist, philosopher, and Holocaust survivor, who founded logotherapy, a school of psychotherapy that describes a search for a life's meaning as the central human motivational force. Logotherapy is part of existential and humanistic psychology theories.
Logotherapy was promoted as the third school of Viennese Psychotherapy, after those established by Sigmund Freud and Alfred Adler.
Frankl published 39 books. The autobiographical Man's Search for Meaning, a best-selling book, is based on his experiences in various Nazi concentration camps.

prenosi istu poruku kao i lagunini bestseleri iz domena popularne psihologije osim što
1) dolazi od nekog kredibilnog
2) zapravo je zasnovano na činjenicama i istraživanjima
i najbitnije

This volume was mostly repeat information of that which is written better and in greater context in his other volumes. Though it was still a good read, if not somewhat repetative. But if someone reads it first as a summary of his ideas it would be greatly enlightening.

incredibly insightful and a necessary accompaniment to any practising psychotherapist. Frankl helps us orient the self back to its own power. A refreshing perspective in strak co trust to typical Freaudian Analysis and without the mysticism and religiosity of Jung.

A friend recommended this book and without fail, I liked it. Viktor Frankl and his Logotherapy insight helps one see things from a different prospective. Not only does he explain his experience in a concentration camp, but he give detailed memories of how it affected his mental state and emotions. My favorite part of this book are those subtle yet impacting words that suddenly open your eyes and heart to what is currently affecting you, whether it be a negative or positive thing. I've read this book multiple times, I pick it up when I'm out of books or if I need a pick me up in life.

If I could, I would give this book a double the stars.
Besides from the gospel af John this must be the most beautiful book I have ever read. To think so much hope and grace can come out of Auschwitz.
Thank you, Dr. Frankl 🙏
